dommakavelli: I've collected my passport from VFS.. My medic came with a condition to pay tuition and boarding b4 22nd of august. Although, I've paid my full tuition b4 I applied n I included the receipt in my application.

My problem is I don't think I can secure an on campus accommodation within that 2 weeks even if I'll get a space cos I learnt the hostels are full already.

It is clearly written on d sch website that there's limited hostel accommodation for graduate student. Hence they advice grad student to organise an off campus accommodation.


Meanwhile, if I choose to go for an off campus accommodation, the landlords are not willing to talk to students that are still abroad because it is peak period( fall semester). N even if am lucky to get one within that 2 weeks. I don't think it is advisable to pay such amount of money to sum1 I've neva met as the school has strictly warned against paying to landlords without seeing the property.


However, this are my tots.

1. To write a letter to CDHC, explaining that d hostels r fully booked n I plan to stay off campus. N because d landlords prefer to speak to pple in Canny already, I plan to go a week or two weeks early n stay in d hotel till i find off campus accommodation of my taste.
I'll make a hotel reservation to show that I actually have a place to stay for those two weeks while I search for d accommodation.

2. I'll apply for an on-campus accommodation (if the sch accept my application) while they put me on d waiting list because am sure they won't allocate a room b4 22nd of august.

Then, I'll submit my application fee receipt, n a letter from the sch dat am on the waiting list.
Then, I'll book a 2-3 weeks hotel reservation.

What do you all think about this....please come to my aid @ mr siga, mr phemmy, earthgreeners gboyega, et all

U of Manitoba ranks 20th, while MUN ranks 23rd, Brandon U ranks 53rd on the 4ICU's top 100 best unis in Canny, you Can as well change your location if your spirit so well pleases you after you've accumulated much as my OGAs have said, please note, if you can forfeit all the universities in the whole Nigeria for a Canadian Uni, why not go for the right one that will possess all the accoutrement of a good school that will worth the forfeiture? latra: My good pple I submitted on the April 17th and all this while it has been like hell waiting endlessly for a call for Medical but to no avail, just yesterday here I even tut of going to CDHC to make a an inquiring abt my application. Behold just this morning at about 11:40am I saw an email alert from CDHC asking me to proceed without delay for medical examination.... I can't shout please can u help me shout GOD IS GREAT!!!

Hi people, I have a friend that wanna apply for his trv, now my question goes thus: his sponsor deals in the sales of cars and His account is loaded, though he is not in anyway related to him, what can he do to convince the officer that he is related to him, and he is commited to sponsoring him throughout his studies. I got a mail in my CIC box today and i was refused. All in all I thank God and will not be applying again. My deal with God was- i will apply only once and if i am to go they will give me and my family at once. I was refused based on the following grounds,

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.
In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
Your travel history
Purpose of visit
Your current employment situation

I have travelled to the UK about 7 times, the US twice, Netherlands, Kenya, Dubai and have a valid US visa on my passport which will expire early 2015. i have not stayed in any country beyond 12 days. All my kids and husband have also travelled to the UK and US at least twice each, not staying beyond 12days. (my three kids are under 5years. i and my husband both have very good paying jobs. and he was to start his Ph.D in 2014.

Anyways, long story, bottom line- we were refused.
We had about 5million cash in our combined account, school fees had been paid, about 3 houses and 4 landed property on the island etc and we scanned all the documents, my pay slips - abt 500+ net monthly etc.

I will however like to encourage everyone still waiting that your prayer at all times should be let Gods will be done, if Naija is where you will live ur success, no matter how bad the country is, you will make it and if Canada is where your success lies, then may the Lord lead you there. Amen.

yea, it's advisable you make a new one that indicate the name you bear and the name on your admission letter, because if you wanna use the former passport, you might be needed to provide a proof marriage, i.e, a marriage certificate, but renewing is adviasable because you will still have a fresh 5years lapse for it to expire, so go for a new one, but your decision matters on it.






On the case of dual sponsorship, it is accepted, what you need to do is to show that your bro in Europe is comitted to sponsoring you as a co-sponsor,hope I have thrown a light on your question?
