Why should you be bothered about someone's boastfulness, unless you are insecure? You are welcome to relocate to the east and reciprocate in the spirit of One Nigeria. Damn :/.
Would you go to the United States and start insulting the Citizens Calling them Cowards, dirty and smelling??Would you go to the US and start telling them their country would be nothing without your input?? Answer these questions by yourself, don't give me the answers here. |
Hmmmm....I seriously hope G.E.J sucessfully pulls this off..... |
Afam4eva: Why don't you tell us what Lagos gives to the large population because you keep raising the fact that since Lagos has that huge a population, it is spending a lot of funds on this population even when it's common knowledge that Fashola rarely engages in human development programs, when the reverse seems to be the case most of the time. We know Lagos probably has more responsibilities than any other state government in NIgeria but not in astronomical proportions because the things that makes Lagos different from other state which is it's population, is not directly been nourished with it's funds. The Lagos state civil service is also not that big for a city it's size. The biggest infrastructures in Lagos are actually federal structures(Airport, Seaport etc), so i want to know in detail what Lagos is spending it's money on.Lagos is the only State that seems to commission new projects regularly. The Badagry Expressway, the Elevated train line, the Ikorodu expressway, Housing Estates under construction, Roads and drainages. Just a few of where LASG spends money. |
Wonderful news to wake up to. The Railway revival continues its upward march and we will surely get there. Surely, this is good news for everyone. Its now left to Nigerians to ensure the trains don't always arrive at the port empty......If you know what i mean. |
When you realize it costs approximately $600,000 a year to maintain a Bugatti Veyron if you wish to use it well.....and not just park it in a garage, the Lambo starts to make more economic sense. |
That was so unprofessional of Ice-Prince. Why waste their time, effort and money?? Well, its actions like this that lead to a downfall. |
Honestly, pictures would have been better on this thread. Also, it the new roads don't have neat sidewalks, I'm not impressed. We need to raise our standards to get what we truely deserve. |
This is not a religious matter. Its simple, Nigerians aren't giving themselves a good name within and outside the country. This has in turn affected the honest ones that only want to live a clean, fuss free life. They commit so much crime, everyone that will read this post will either know an online Scammer, drug peddler or corrupt Govt official on first hand basis. We have given that image to the world and they're only reacting to it. We need to look inwards and Stop pointing fingers at religion or the White man or what not. |
I like this @OP. He reports from both sides of the table. |
Okoro2015: Ruling Nigeria is not the same thing as installing low quality solar lights under maryland bridge and demarcation of federal roads to favor state transport. It is definitely not about speaking grammar or debating. Otherwise, Gani would've been a life president, US should have been having it best under this current leadership. Alas! it isn't so.. ..tune to Egypt and listen to radio Muberak. How can one install Solar lights under a Bridge?? How will Sunlight charge is batteries?? FYI, its floodlights that were installed there. |
Na by force to drive Lamborgini ![]() |
ikenga67: They are really not governement officials - you cannot have government officials where there is no government. Those are public enterpreneurs - businessmen and women whose industry just happens to be the public space where our government ought to be.I get your point, they "invest" heavily in getting elected into positions......and reap the profit once they're voted in. Their motive is to make a profit, not to Govern. |
Poor Country with the highest paid Govt Officials in the World. |
emiye: We have not even started yet.The summary of so called "FRESH AIR" of mediocrity we're currently experiencing in Nigeria. |
solomon111: The amount of solid minerals in the North is enough to turn them to dubai, yet they keep fixating on oil. You're right. Its the way forward. I just wonder why those high up in power shy away from it. |
When we refuse to look beyond Oil.....I mean, what happened to the countless resources lying around the country and developing human resources?? Whoever is to rule this country needs a more agressive approach to moving this country ahead. Tackle corruption, reduce the size of Government cabinets, reduce their pay packets, tackle oil theft, develop the exploitation of countless resources we have etc. Anyone who isn't doing this while in power is as mediocre as that figure is compared to the rest. |
Speechless.....Damn!!! "Giant of mediocrity" we truely are. |
smoothlips: will shot up dia? Am sure ur a T.A. Orji puppet. Do u want to say the pictures are photoshop? Abia is d worst governed state in Nigeria. Backward and uncompletely witout infrastructure yet T.A orji goes about commissioning pedestarian bridge.Guy, your lips no smooth at all ooo.... ![]() |
