all4naija: 100 billion is equivalent to 630.4million dollars. I sorry for the way that country is been milked!Wow!!!....So that means we can afford to construct such an awe inspiring bridge over the Niger river. I'm waiting to see the proposed design. |
Sincere9gerian is keeping us in touch with the plans of his ...................................(Fill in the blank). |
EG.Imagine if the Senate members had ripped Senator Yerima's agbada, beat the living daylight out of him and stomped him on the ground when they found out he was marrying underaged girls?.....before whisking him off to jail. Whenever he's released and he sees an underaged girl, he'll run away fast when he remembers the beat down. |
Some Nigerian Politicians and Government officials really need to be beaten up to force sense into their heads. |
The wife of the NSCDC Commandant that was ridiculed in the crazy "My Oga At The Top" video has been reported to have barged into Channels TV studio today to protest bitterly to the chairman of Channels on the damages the crazy video has caused his family. :]xx She says her kids at school are been ridiculed everyday |
Ikengawo: for one it was conceived in the Tinubu era, Nigerian banks are providing the funding, and a consortium of nigerian and international investors thought it it, and are executing it.True, Tinubu might have conceived it but he required a technocrat to help him actualize it. They convinced the investors to put down their money in the project. They are the spear-heads of the project....they didn't just wake up one morning and find people sand-filling the Atlantic Ocean. |
Ikengawo: Eko Atlantic isn't a government project.....Credit for it doesn't go to FasholaWho's the driving force behind it?? Who came up with the idea and convinced investors to buy into it?? Who provided the environment for it to be possible?? |
. |
The most abitious projects in Nigeria are currently being undertaken in Lagos. I.e Eko Atlantic, Badagry Express etc. Others include The widening of Ikorodu road so that its whole length is 10 lanes, the elevated raillines....etc. If these other Governors bring their works down to Lagos, it would be swallowed up by the state without signs. Governing Lagos is a big responsibility that no State comes close to. |
Ikengawo: we have a BUS PRODUCTION FACTORYSomeone's gotta buy them first. |
@Sincere9gerian. You dropped some reasons on why Alamesiegha deserved a pardon but I'm sure 99 percent of Nigerians aren't aware of these reasons. The GEJ administration should have also sensitized the public with these reasons why they deserve the pardon.....If they are really justified. Its the logical thing to do. People are bound to oppose it because what they first heard was ...."Alamesiegha convicted on corruption charges" and later.... "Presidential pardon for Alamesiegha". |
Sincere 9gerian: This thread is a fit and proper front page material but will the moderators do the right thing? There are little moves people make that send out B.I.G messages. This pardoning of Ex-convicted Government officials is one. The least he could have done was distance himself from them. He's the Commander in chief of Nigeria so any reformation must start from him, not a Governor. He's surely lost popularity with this move. You and i know it. |
musiwa19: ore why are you showing this.. Ore mi o ro pe fashola le wo ile.Oga...Please speak in English. |
This is about providing a solution to a problem. There are a lot of buses and they get very dirty. With the positioning of this Automated carwash in their bus yard, They drive through it when leaving in the morning and we have clean buses plying the streets. Simple. |
Those buses really needed this car-wash. I'v thought of presenting this proposal for an automated car-wash to the LASG for a while now since the buses get so dusty and dirty. Its not comercial, its just to keep the buses clean since they're a large number and can't be hand washed. Good development. And to those that sit in foreign countries and criticize...."Do you know how those car washes you boast about got there" You travelled out and met them there, right?? |
ufotuko: do you know it is possible to go into oil business with ten million naira?if you do not know better know now and if you are still doubting you can go and ask oil and gas expert or those that are into the business.so you must not be a billionaire before you can go into oil and gas business.I have friends that distribute diesel and if you ask them what they do, they'll tell you "Oil biz". Tops, these dudes can afford their own tankers to distribute and that's it. You can even start without any capital...Just know a supplier and you'll serve as a middle man connecting people that need it. |
Meanwhile, the Israeli Govt will not hesitate to brutalize and deport them if they step out of line. . Why struggle to associate with a Country that obviously don't give a sh*t bout you? ![]() |
Orikinla: Igbo boys again.I swear, you just spoke my mind. I'm not hating but i don't belive everything i read. These guys have money but are not as rich as they potray themselves. Lies are also involved in some of their claims. *From a reliable source* |
There is no car as armed or as bullet proof as the presidential limo Barak Obama rides in.......and he's not known for corruption. |
Sealeddeal: you mean ND state are really raking this enormous amount of money? So,where is the development to show for it? i think the Governors in ND states should all be stoned to death.they are monumental failures. BTW,i think Bayelsa is the richest state.Absolutely, take a look at the population that they are responsible for to know how good they've got it. Akpabio is the only one I'v felt his vibes but with the money he collects, that's the least one should expect. The money is probably looted and used to fund elections, I guess. |
THE NIGERIAN STATES BY POPULATION Lagos State 15,000,000 Kano State 9,383,682 Rivers State 5,185,400 Delta State 4,098,391 Akwa Ibom State 3,920,284 Cross River State 2,888,966 Bayelsa State 1,703,358. Those Niger-Delta states are big suspects. They receive so much but do so little. Those States should be the next Dubai with the amouts they receive but their Govts seem to lack ideas on what to do with the Money. |
At the meeting of the monthly Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) in October, 2012. From the total disbursement of nets after deductions, the highest recipients are from the oil producing states with Akwa Ibom N17.6bn, Rivers receiving N14.4bn, Delta N14.4bn and Bayelsa N9.8bn. The highest recipients from non-oil –producing states are Lagos N13.8bn and Kano N10.6bn. |
babapupa: Why?When you receive a monthly allocation of roughly N8.5 billion to cater for a population of 2million.....You are rich. |
babapupa: Correct answer.Bayelsa is more like it. |
Rossikk: Sorry but that is absolute rubbish. Those that support it do so not because they haven't seen Heathrow or JFK, but because they are sensible enough to understand that when a govt undertakes to remodel 15 airports, you should not expect each of the hitherto decrepit airports to suddenly start to look like Rome and Dubai Airport. They know that the budget for building Rome and Dubai airports is on a different scale to what was budgeted for these airport renovations. Lastly, they understand that the Benin airport is not yet fully completed, and is yet to undergo the landscaping and final finishing & equipping of the interior. They also realize that we cannot really make out the quality and scale of the renovation merely by viewing two pictures of the complex online. We are both saying the same thing but in your eagerness to use the lines "That is absolute rubbish" you failed to notice. |
Yes, I find it daft that some people can compare a State that receives N25billion monthly allocation to cater for a population of 4million to a state that receives the same N25billion to cater to a population of 18million in terms of performance. That's my benchmark of daftness on NL. |
NRI PRIEST: Indeed Anambra is very much economically stable. She owes nobody and all her sectors are booming. And too,its the state with the least porverty. Lagos,Rivers,Delta and even Akwaibom owes a lot of banks. Anambra might as well be the state with the most vibrant economy in the country. The state is stronger than a lot of people actually know. Anambra has made lots of progress thanks to Pete Obi.So Anambra is the richest State, right?? |
Some people's mind seems to be playing tricks on them. |
