I was in a BRT yesterday and right behind my seat, two elder men in their 50s and 60s were conversing about their respective wife. The first man said:he married because his wife was exceedingly attractive when he wanted to marry her and that now,he is regretting for going for her because of her present attitude. The second man said:he wanted to marry a particular lady because of her beauty but he changed that because he was warned against such,so he has to go for the ever-cheerful and good attitude one.He said he's happy with her and if their is reincarnation,he's still going to marry her.I wanted to excuse them and chip in mine so that they'll lecture me thoroughly on marriage affairs, but restrained due to the environs. What do you have to say on this?It was a personal experience!!! |
......Egypt is the CRADLE of civilization which is a muslim country!!! |
jimino: Y is boko haram diferent? Y r dey distroying in d name of islam?.....go and ask dem! |
Nehemiah459: Who invented BOMB? Cos its better I kill myself than to commit suicide.Nobel,a christian, founder of nobel prize! |
Muslims started it off but we have gone to sleep now.:....what do muslims of nowadays have to offer so that we'll be remembered like them?? |
If you have anythin |
informatix: My advice to you is to go to church and marry I advice alot of Muslims to marry from the followers of Isa Ibn Maryam(Jesus). The practice of marrying from the followers of Jesus was well encouraged Islam. Islam believed in Jesus as a Messenger of God with miracles born by virgin mother Maryam with no father. Marry from church problems solved but make sure u iron out about ur children finish no problem.I am very sure you are a christian,if they go and marry in church, what fate do you want to befall our sisters?Don't be selfish! |
deols: If every Muslim goes to church to marry, what happens to the female Muslims.....exactly my thought.... |
yusufk: That's what i dont understand... which hadith or Aayah says that marriage is half of your deen? i have been goin through books but i cudn't find it......go tru right 'books'.... |
lookmangiw: Tbaba, How are you doing today, Hope you are doing fine. Concerning your post, you said boyfriend/ Girlfriend relationship is haram in islam, but I'm currently dating a woman now, just 4 months old. What am I suppose to do? Cos at the moment, I don't think I'm really in the best position to get married, should I break up with her?Concerning your signature:Do u even know them or mere hearsay? |
Allah knows better..... |
Marriage to me is not what many of you think of.It is an eternal union to complete me.What i mean is d@,i will not marry for marrying's sake rather i will go for my other half.Don't marry because of love, beauty, wealth but compatibility, understanding, focus. Why do i even marry someone i can't converse with for 3hrs non-stop as the case maybe?otherwise = divorce!!! |
morufoye: women are like shadows. you chase them they run away from you and you run away from them they chase you. no woman is worth making you go against an established sunnah of 'al mustopha', the greatest example to the mankind. (saw) let her go and she will be replaced with a more pious, humble and beautiful muslimah. |
You are lucky in the sense that he let you go unscathed and without being punished, next time, you might not be that lucky.Do you know many life of military personnel that has gone due to such impersonation?May God bless Nigeria!!! |
satowind: Fool lyk u if he didn't do it wat will u do? Wat will all those kids do? Dose dat didn't do it wat hv u done. Only u nah fool if u tink dat man don't deserve gods blessing. Dere was no money in dere allocation 4 sandals 4 students he did it out of his own pocket mumu. |
pawa4ul: That he bought sandals and socks is not the reason people are singing praises and praying for him, but for having the sense of both justice, empathy and equity that made him send his children to public school is what people are commending. That way, he as a law maker can know the quality of education that is inherent in his locality. God guide him. This is the only onus in my comments - commending him for sending his children to public,i do not regret this sha!but wait, let's look it @ this angle,if he intended to send his wards to private schools, and he couldn't find any, what do you think he would do?Northern states are backward academically, you have to know that!!! |
Jenams: u r a sycophant! My NASS rep built lecture halls fully furnished in all our community schools, community bore holes in strategic locations and even awarded a contract to grade roads in my constituency. And yet u say it is nt a lawmaker's responsibility to provide social amenities! Mr ITK, do u knw hw much our NASS members collect for constituency projects annually? U r a syncophant I repeat.Abeg tell dem.... |
These are the kind of things lawmakers should be doing with the constituency development they allocated to themselves.
|
redcliff: Oga calm down abeg..sending his chikdren to public schools isnt the problem, the problem is if the education there is of sound and good quality. The man could have also used stolen money to buy the whole scholl children's sandals and socks. And God does not bless in death, the only blessing you get is going to heaven as a righteous and holy beingYou are on point bros.... |
Jenams: hello! Wat is dis praise singin all abt? Did he use his personal money to buy d sandals for all d kids or state govt money? To me, he is doin dat to secure his wards for security purpose. He was nt elected to buy shoes but to develop edu infrasture and provide other social amenities.Abi o,where do you think his constituency allowance'll go except something like this!People are just ignorant naturally and not ready to learn!!! |
king94: We hear about negative stories in all facets of lyf everyday. It is therefore heartwarming 2 hear this story about a politician who also cares about d ppl around him.May God bless him immensely.May God bless him according to his intention, remember election is around the corner! |
busar: I didn't even enjoy any bit of this game. DSTV NONSENSEWe experience the same thing,we that we watch it on local stations. You have to put Nigerian factor(s) into consideration! |
ASL33: Where did he get the money to buy those sandals from?....exactly my question, where?can anyone answer me? |
@Sheikh: whose side are you?pls, clarify your points! |
Only time will tell us!!! |
simpleseyi: There is a reward for everything we all do. This man shall be rewarded by God here on earth and after death. IBB has gotten part of his own reward because Maryam who stole with him and who did not advise him against looting the treasury has been taken away by death. Augustus Aikhiomu who also stole with IBB has been taken away by prostrate cancer. Jonathan lost his half brother, Dame Sheppopotamus lost her adopted mother to the road her husband refused to fix. All those that turned our youths to kidnappers, yahoo-yahoo and armed robbers shall be rewarded. Abdulsalami and Akhigbe shared all oil blocks among themselves, Obasanjo had to cancel the allocation and re-allocated to himself (Obasanjo) and his co-looters. Obasanjo and Abdulsalami just bought Ikeja and Lagos distribution zones of PHCN using our stolen wealth, how much is the total of their life savings as military officers and ex-presidents that can now afford to buy PHCN? All those that are sucking the masses blood through looting of the common wealth shall be rewarded. Sanni Abacha, Wada Nas, Stella Obasanjo,You are perfectly on course,i love alot the same mindset people like you.Just to chip in mine now:do u remember one hausa man like that that Abacha regime 'dashed' oil blocks, sold one of it for 1billion dollars, wasted half of the money. He now un-ashamed came out and tell us he didn't know what he would do with the remaining 500millions dollars. Can u ever think of that?In a situation where poverty has permeates every nooks and crannies of our society.May God help we the masses to fight for our right in this country! |
God bless dis man.....
Simpleseyi has given u complete response i would have loved to give u but let me add mine.African mentality and nigerian factors has almost rob us of our thinking.I can't see any reason to praise somebody u chose to lead you.For God's sake,he's doing his work and how does this cost compare to allocation he was given? The day we begin to challenge our leaders on how they lead us,is the day we are moving inch by inch to our so callled 'promised land'! |
Nice post from u,deols, thumbs up,thanks for the eye opener!!! |
amin |
Jazakum lahu kairan bro...... |
Sir sijo: Ameen to all the prayers... and Jumaat Kareem to ya'll. my own point of view about ths generation marriages are; |
