Austine2020:@ Austine2020 @ anonymous Yes someone mentioned it on this forum that her state requires the consent form to be notarised at the us embassy ,while some other states accept notarised forms from any notary public. So find out what is acceptable in the state you are going to. Pls mamas that have gotten their babies us passport should advice us if the consent form must be notarised by a notary public in the us embassy before it can be used or not @ anonymous, i beg you o,i no share anything o,i thought i was helping people that needed help o, |
belfy:@ belfy I have replied your pm |

Okeksmama:I have sent you the form, check your inbox |
kykes:Yes you leave the date of birth blank and fill it after baby arives. Will email you the form now. |
FastShipping:Google port of Clevland |
bj2012golf:@bj2012golf You are in my thoughts and prayers. Looking forward to the good news.. All the best . |
belfy:@ belfy There is a consent form for this purpose on the us govt passport website . Here is the link: http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/passports/under-16.html. or you can google " us passport application for a minor under 16 "the form is called DS-3053. Print it out and have your husband fill it in front of a notary public and have the notary public notarise it. This was what i did before i left 9ja for Dalla,so that i can use it when applying for my baby's Us passport. I dint have or use any consent letter at poe . Pm me if you have any dififculty downloading the form ,so that i can email it to you |
finechickala201:@finechikala A lot of people on this site have used dresparati and they have wonderful testimonies. The only issue people seem to have with them is that some VO at the embassy consider them as agents so they dont regard their letters, but since you are already in the us,this shouldnt matter to you. |
belfy:@belfy Which consent letter were you refering to,is it the one for babys american passport or the one to take to the embassy for visa indicating that you have your husbands permission to travel. Let me know which,so that i will know how to help |
Gracydee:As has been mentioned above, there are no fast rules with such letters to the embassy. What i was trying to discourage was people telling lies at their interview section and writting the letter as an easy way out. I guess you can write the letter to them since your own case is diffrent. Most of us on this thread just offer advice based on experiece not as authority in these matter and we stand to be corrected |
The guru (justwise) has said it as it is. Someone had a similar problem sometime ago on this thread and i took time out to research this. Your wife is within her rights to travel,it is the CBP officer at POE that has the right to determine how long she will be in the us and by the grace of God she will be stamped in for 6months. Dont entertain any fear Triax: |
FastShipping:There is a port in Cleveland, Ohio, maybe because its not as big as Baltimore you guys dont ship from there. Is your price of $600 negotiable? cause its a bit on the high side for a journey of less than 6hrs |
iphiechuks:Fagbohunmd@yahoo.com |

Thanks |
hello everyone.. just got my visa /quote]Congrats i am so so happy for you. When are you heading out? |
MadameU:You can google it,i am sure there are a couple of them, depending on where you stay. 2320 West Peoria Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Phone +1 602-944-7744 |
Gracydee:pls note that it is only advisable to send this type of letter if you got your visa before you got pregnant and not that you were pregnant when you went for the interview and lied about it These letters dont have a fixed format, all the same, here is a sample Dear Sir/Ma My name is ------- with pasport number------. I got a b1/b2 2 years visa for the pupose of vaccation on ------, i now wish to use the visa to travel to the US for birthing pupose. I am aware of the financial and other implications of this which includes having enough funds to cover the hospital and doctors bills ,contacting and booking an appointment with a hospital and a gyneacologist ,booking accomodation etc. I would be greatful if my records with you could be updated to reflect this. Yours truely ------------ |
MamaTobenna:My Emirate experience was a very plesant one. Before i boaded in lagos i was asked for my EDD date and my authority to fly,i told them my Edd was 1st wk of march and i gave them my authority to fly They also asked me where i would be staying and i showed them my accomodation reservation, was wondering how that one concerned them o. The air hostess on both legs of the journey were very nice, they kept asking me if i was ok and if i wanted anything. I dint book for a wheel chair o,because i thought i dint need it |
Thank you, your own testimony will be shared here IJN. God will crown your effort with success this 3rd time around, Amen. t bj2012golf: |
Hello sir,pls can you help check this vin:1FMCU04125KA17670? Thanks |
Hello House, landed in Dallas safely via Emirate after a one day layover in Dubai,i arranged it that way so that i can have a proper rest in Dubai before the second leg to Dallas. As it is with our custom here, this is My POE experience: Cbp:Hello Me: Hello, how are you Cbp: What are you here for Me: vacation and to have my baby Cbp: Smilles, Is that what you are using the money you decleared for ( i had decleared $9,900) Me: That and also some other money i have deposited in my Bank Of America account Cbp: Where is your husband Me: He is in Nigeria but will be joining me before the baby arrives. Cbp:: How long do you intend to stay Me: 4 months Na so she take stamp me for 6months o. The whole exercise did not take 3mins. She did not even ask for a single documment, meanwhile if you see me and the heavy file filled with burden of proof wey i carry, you go think say i be clerk for town council.lol. I thought she would even ask what was in the file, but alas! She dint even look at it. Not only that, all the grounded egusi, crayfish, ogbono and deboned dry fish i carried were not even checked. I thak God for the favour o. Will start looking for hospitals and doctors tomorrow. |
finechickala201:Do you mean Dr Fagbohun? |
customised87:You can print out the consent form from the us govt passport application site. It is suppose to be signed by yourhusband and also by a notary public. |
mummyprincess:"Burden of proof' are the documents you take along for your visa interview and when traveling. It is to support your visa application and to convince the custom and boarder countrol officers at point of entry (POE) that your intentions are what you say they are and to also show that you have made adequate preperations and arrangement Yes the consent letter from your husband is neccessary when applying for the new born babys american passport.. i will advice you to try and read as much as you can of this thread,it will educate you a great deal.. Its importance cant be over emphasised. |

Congrats MadameU, i like you, sharp woman, you armed yourself o! Inshort over preparation worry you. Carry go nothing do u. Congrats once again on your successfull POE exploits. |
labake96:I think you should stick to your original story when reapplying, because they would have your original application on record moreover i dont think that your denial had anything to do with you having a relative in America or not. I think the issue there was " NO STR0NG TIES" . I also think you shouldd re-apply to Abuja this time around and do it without your husband,so that they would know you have a husband to come back to. I wish you all the best as you try again. |
anonymousmum:Was just wondering,is there a reason people dont like flying Delta or united? Because for me personally, nothing beats direct flight. O ! Its just that on this particular trip i have something to pick up in Duba, thats why i'm flying Emirate |
SAkale:I'm very happy to be of help. Everything i learnt was from this forum,Will send a mail to you now, I just saw your pm,will reply to that too. Pls fell free to contact me if you need further assistance. God bless. |
SAkale:@ SAkale Must it be Del sol medical centre or doctoresparati letter? Even after they have told you that the embassy people MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT accept their letter. I had told you on an earlier post, and i will tell you again . Get in touch with another doctor e.g. Dr Fagbohun or some other doctor that accepts email appointment booking, send them an email that you want to come to the us to give birth, they will reply you with an email telling you that they are willing to accept you and they will also attach the breakdown of their bills on the email, all this is free o,you no go pay any kobo.,most doctors will not charge you for this. You can use this as burden of proof for your visa application and at POE. Once you enter America ,you can then go the El paso route or even decide to have your baby in Alaska,na u sabi,no body will stress you on that, the koko is to enter yakee 1st. I hope i have answered your question. I can give you like two doctors in Texas that would respond to your email , send me a pm if you need it or search this thread,i know ppl have had this same problem, even me too had the same issue, that is why i can advice you properlly. |
