shakidude: Hello all, I would like to share my experience with you. Sorry for the long post.
Part one:
I applied for Dropbox renewal in Feb at Abuja with my husband and child but we were called for interview in march. It seems she has made up her mind not to give you the visa right from the onset.I will advice you to apply again and try lagos this time around. Good luck. |

my first reaction after someone sent me this on whatsapp, was that this can't be true, only for me to go online to check and i confirmed it. It's so sad that for all these while we've been drinking these drinks without been aware and I'm sure a lot of us must have used some of these drinks to take Vit c. It's only God that will save us in this country o |

munah123457: Ok I'm a new member and I have been following this thread. My case goes like this Myself, dad and younger sister attended US interview on the 8th of March 2017, and we were all granted Visa. Actually I am 31weeks gone when we went for the interview and I went with my dad and younger sister, and my mum has a valid visa. But my husband didn't apply.
I know if I use the visa to birth, it might create problems for me in the future as my DS160 form states that I am a student, so have zeroed my mind for using it to birth.
I need advice on how I can effectively use my visa without creating any suspicion that will lead to refusal or ban. I've decided that I should apply with my baby after his one year. Then I'm thinking won't the VO start calculating and say I was pregnant while I applied and refuse me or should I travel first b4 I reapply with my baby?
Please urgent and useful reply Were you asked if you were pregnant during your visa interview? It's not a crime to be pregnant and apply for a visa. It becomes an issue if you lied. You can apply for your son after you give birth and travel with him |

DiObyyy: Please I'm traveling through Dallas some time next week. Do I need to carry a leave letter from my company with me to show at my POE that I am on vacation/ childbirth? Has anyone been asked for this at POE? I will advice you still go along with the letter from your place of work, this further strengthens your burden of proof ( to show that you have a job to return to) . I know of someone that his boss was even called on phone to confirm that he had a job (this happened to a man) |

jesufifunmi: I had the same experience with him in 2015. Thought my case was just 1 out of a thousand. Didn't know that's his way. The most annoying part was him not amswering my series of calls nor responding to text messages. What effrontery! This man must think he is in naija o,where he can get away with anything. I guess someone has not sued him yet. |

Mrsc22: What POE r u going through? I am thinking of using Virgin Atlantic to JFK then a connecting local flight to houston. Am leaving in 2weeks maximum. Cos am 33weeks by Monday. What POE is best. I hv all my documents and i stated child birth as travel reason (got visa days go). I intend to travel with about 10k and may even pay my hospital bills from here.
Deciding a POE is my issue. Am houston bound I think you are on the right track. Fly naija to Jfk and take a local flight to Houston. I would avoid Houston poe if i were you, cause them they para for there o. |

muyiwaojo1: Thanks for the response. The wife got the visa first, (last year),on medical grounds, but she was given a B1/B2 type of visa. Her husband got her visa few months ago too, and stated that he wants to accompany his wife for a test. And he was also given B1/B2 type of visa. Does this type of visa implies that it's for medical purposes Then ba magana, that is to say,no worries. They don't have any thing to fear then |

idonhear: Please a quick one, DW applied for B2 and stated during interview that it is for childbirth....meanwhile B1/B2 is what she has on the VISA. Is it supposed to be stated specifically as "B2" asking for clarity sake. No worries, she's on track, that's how it's done. |

muyiwaojo1: Hello everyone, please my 26 weeks pregnant sister and her hubby are going to Colorado, I booked an Etihad flight to New York (for POE) and another connecting flight to Colorado. I hope they won't encounter any problems. She's actually going for a medical test and they intend staying for just 2weeks.my fear now is that won't they be questioned at the PO for coming via new york and won't they think they are coming for child Birth? We are all scared ooo. Lol. Pls advice...... The most simple conclusion would be that they are coming for child birth, the onus now lies on them to convince the cbp officer otherwise. Do they have a medical visa? ( was their visa gotten for that purpose? If no,have they used it for the purpose it was gotten for) Do they have paper work (Dr's correspondence) to show that they are coming for a medical test? They should also have their connecting flight ticket at hand to show that Colorado is their final destination, just in case the cbp officer should ask. |

MiddyO: Pls can anyone verify this inforinformation? On my son's American passport he was stamped in for 1 months stay in Nigeria. Now there are no passport booklets available at the passport offices. I hope this won't pose a problem when we are travelling? Just like you've been adviced by others here, don't travel without a naija passport for him o,if you do,you will pity yourself by the time they finish with you. I will advice you to ask them at the Immigration office for the neighbouring states where booklets are available so you can go with your son and get it done there. |

And just incase you are called for an interview, Desperate's letter is still ok ( at least i haven't read that anybody was bounced because of it lately ) Purpose of traveling is child birth, also remember to go with the receipts from your previous missionary journey and also prepare as if you are going for a fresh visa interview with all the works eg Dr & Hospital correspondence, budget sheet etc. |

iphiechuks: Beautiful pple,
Please I am about to submit my DS160 for for renewal. I am applying with hubby. is it okay we have diff travel dates because he intend traveling 3 weeks after.
During our first application, we filled same date though he traveled 29 days after I have already entered the State. That was close to my baby's birth day and he wants to do so this time. I don't think this should pose any problem whatsoever. |

We are making arrangements for her to acquire a visa. Please my question is, will this be a problem during her interview or at POE? I don't think so,it's plain simple,at the time of your interview you thought you could go it alone, but reason later prevailed on you and you decided to go with mama shikina! |
