Unless you're gay, the new civil unions bill should not matter and will not affect you. In South Africa we don't discriminate against anyone, it's written in the Constitution.
Thank you! Since Nigeria has no credible constitution it abides by, you can understand why this is an emotional crisis for most! Always drinking Panadol for other people's migraine! Like gay people are not human beings that should have rights! Yet polygamous christains have rights!
PoliticsRe: Nigerians In Diaspora Badmouth Nigeria by BABEELOVE(f): 10:47pm On Aug 07, 2007
Dear Ndipe,
You are preaching to a sleeping choir! Even it it hits most Nigerians like a ton of bricks in the head, they will still tell you you do not love Nigeria because you criticize her. You should do something instead of criticizing Nigeria. I wonder what else can be done when most people believe that things are okayhuh

UPDATE! wassup, omoge! Been checking out the profiles of some chicks on this thread. Instead of pictures or really polite stuff,
i've seen some really juvenile and downright rude write ups. Some chicks seem to think the 'net is a forum to display their
sociopopathic tendencies. One chick asked me to 'mess off' for no reason. Another told me to wait 'till the cows come home'( She probably has a really inflated
opinion of herself). Another just went 'puhhhhhhh'. lol .
Apparently, there are really no ladies('ladies'? is that the right word?) worth dating or even getting to know on this platform or maybe there is.
still searching, though. Omoge means 'maiden' in Yoruba. Are you the 'one'? smiley
LOL!!!! grin grin grin Is it by forcehuh

Abi oh!  Some with fake country address!!! Anyway the questions asked for our "true country" on your profile, not where you live.  My true country is Nigeria! grin This our dear moderator seems to be everywhere!

lovemajek:
Yes, To protect others,or you have some skeleton in your posting.
I think all should be protected not just "others"! Skeletons in my posting? Why on earth would anyone want to do that? It is a free website and no one will arrest you for airing your views like mature adults.

@Chillbabe,
That's fine.  You are entitled to your own opinion and I am entitled to mine.  We do not have to agree. I believe that is why God gave us "free will". We do not have to be zombies to follow each other blindly in our arguements do we?

Nairaland GeneralRe: Pros Or Cons! Should Owners/Moderators Of Websites Paricipate In Discussions? by BABEELOVE(op): 7:29pm On Aug 07, 2007
Okay!  How do you feel?  Some sense of comfort or some sense of privacy invasion?  When you see the light of your moderator on, are you relieved or cautious?

I feel gaurded and cautious.  I think I would like my moderators to be heard from privately and not publicly. NEUTRAL!!!!  I also feel that my moderator/s on Nairaland have some favorite members and bullies others he or they does/do not agree with or like.  This is my opinion.
Nairaland GeneralPros Or Cons! Should Owners/Moderators Of Websites Paricipate In Discussions? by BABEELOVE(op): 7:18pm On Aug 07, 2007
What are your views?  I have visited quite a few Nigerian Websites and was not sure if the participation of owners and moderators have positive or  negative effects on the members of the website.  What are your views concerning participation of Owners and Moderators of websites in the case of Nairaland?  What do you like or do not like about this?  Do you feel intimidated, embraced, welcomed, offended or pleased about your moderator participating in Members discussions?  What would you prefer? No insults please! kiss

McKren:
Dont even bother pondering on it as he or she is not saying anything.
Of course!  That is why our beloved Nigeria remains in a state of merry-go round.  In one door and out the other!  Garbage in, and garbage out! You cannot see anything in what I am saying because you are used to nothingness!!!  Please do not let me spoil you "euphoria"!  Enjoy! Afterall, this is a place where everyone must think alike and most agree with the whole bunch even where you are all drowning in hopelessness!

PLEASE YOUR EFCC WAS BOUGHT AND PAID FOR IN THE BUREACRACY LONG BEFORE IT WAS BORN!!! IF YOU ARE JUST REALIZING THIS, THEN YOU GUYS ARE REALLY SLOWER THAN I THOUGHT. No wonder we fall for scammists everyday!

Now go to the other thread of and "smell the sweet wind" from a refuse dumpster smelling all over Nigeria. The sweet smelling wind of deception!!!!

Enjoy and Peace out!!!!
PoliticsRe: Burying The Efcc In Bureaucracy by BABEELOVE(f): 6:08pm On Aug 07, 2007
I am, trying to tell you that we have no structures in place to execute meaningful programmes. What we have are chess pieces on a board used for selfish ends. Nothing beneficial to Nigerians! It is all a sham!!!! Including the EFCC!!!

Iyke-D:
The above typifies the psyche of the confused Nigerian. I honestly don't know which side you
are rooting for on the issue. Are you implying that putting the EFCC under the AG will or should make Ribadu more independent now than he has ever being? huh
I am on the side of the Nigerian masses constantly fooled by our government agencies.  Is it not enough to make you confusedhuh  When you cannot tell who is going to protect your rights or fool you.  Ribadu has never been independent and never had much support from the Police or Nigerian Judiciary.  At the end of every tenure, you have a disgraced IG of police.  So who is setting the examples herehuh

A common man may be imprisoned for embezzlement of funds from his company for almost 10 years and you have an ex-governor convicted internationally and locally for the same thing and he gets 2 years!!!  Well go figure whose side I am on!

Thank God I am not Ribadu! I would never have accepted the job, when you know you are going to play some stupid game of make believe, fighting corruption! The game of "the more you look, the less you understand"----REALLY!!! Yes I am very confused because the Nigerian climate messes with my mind daily!!! No sense of direction!!!
PoliticsRe: 'All Nigerians Are Corrupt', Says Oprah Winfrey by BABEELOVE(f): 5:51pm On Aug 07, 2007
texazzpete:
And for those saying Nigeria isn't the only country with lots of corruption in all classes of people, at least realize that other countries with a similar problem are at least aggressively tackling the issue.
In China, corruption is taken a bit more seriously, last month the former head of China's food and drug safety oversight was executed for taking a quarter million pounds in bribes to approve drugs that killed dozens of people

Compare that to all the Nigerian Governors that have stolen loot and are free. Even those arrested are either free (Alams) or soon will be (Kalu, Nnamani etc).
And do not forget tht EFCC is gradually having it's broken wings clipped!!!!
PoliticsRe: Who Is Destabilising Iraq by BABEELOVE(f): 5:47pm On Aug 07, 2007
Iraq is distabilizing Iraq!!!  They have no one to blame but themselves.  What America could not try in Vietnamhuh  If you cannot respect your country and unite against a common enemy, you should be prepared to face intrusions from foreign governments.  It is called modern day colonization.  In about 10 years Iraq will speak only English.  The laws and governments agencies in Iraq will be modelled after the American  system.  Iran, you are next!!!!!  Watch out!!! THE EVIDENCE AGAINST YOU IS MOUNTING IRAN!!!!

I need all the links to these so called Ibori assets. I for once believe that the EFCCs wings should be clipped - if not roasted and fed to the dogs

If the EFCC cannot bring OBJ to book, cannot bring IBB to book and cannot prosecute previous looters of our treasury, the treasury that was filled with the proceeds of sales of crude oil from Ibori's village and state, then to hell with this monster called EFCC.

I trust Umoru would not dare try anything stupid. He's got to clip the wings of that upstart called Ribadu. Nonsense.
