R.et.arded people get offended and take things personal when facts get them indicted. I do not flaunt the little I have to impress who is not watching, I may not have given to anyone out of that little but if I do, that's surely what I will celebrate. I dont see how a personal opinion on issues made public would burst a slowpoke's balls. wheredemdey: |

If you've been labeled a "bad boss," you'll probably be the last to know. "Your staff will be very adept at making it a well-kept secret because they will do everything to keep their job security intact," says Lynn Taylor, a national workplace expert and the author of "Tame Your Terrible Office Tyrant: How to Manage Childish Boss Behavior and Thrive in Your Job." "But if you decide to boost your emotional intelligence radar and look for subtle signs that your team may be unhappy, you'll uncover a wealth of actionable feedback." Michael Kerr, an international business speaker and author of "The Humor Advantage," agrees that it's important to know how your employees feel about you. When they don't like you, there are consequences, he says. For instance, they'll be less happy and more stressed (which affects things like their productivity and creativity); they may quit on you (which will cost you and your company time and money); they may give you bad reviews or complain to HR (which puts your job in jeopardy); and you'll have trouble earning their respect, being viewed as credible, and getting them to listen to your opinions. "Your goal as a manager is not to be liked by everyone; if it is, you won't be making the best decisions for the company," says Taylor. "But if you're an insensitive manager, no amount of intelligence or business skills will ever take you far in your own career advancement. You will always need a strong team and following to thrive in your career." So, to avoid having to deal with those consequences, among many others, you'll need to recognize the signs and make changes to your behaviors, attitude, and approach to leading. Here are 14 subtle signs your employees may secretly hate you: 1. You've got a (bad) gut feeling "The very first sign that things are going awry in your relationships with employees is a general gnawing feeling that you can't put your finger on," Taylor says. "No manager can be liked by everyone, but there are far too many bosses who are not respected by enough of their staff." If you've got that gut feeling something is off, be aware and start looking for other signs. 2. They can't maintain eye contact with you (but can with everyone else) It's difficult for an employee who is angry to look you straight in the eye, says Taylor. "They're afraid that you may be able to detect hostility, so the path of least resistance is for them to look away or avoid being around you wherever possible." 3. They avoid you like the proverbial plague If you notice they take the stairs every time you're waiting for the elevator, or they manage their schedules in such a way that they rarely overlap with your primary work hours, that's a good sign they're avoiding you. And employees typically only avoid people who intimidate them or who they don't like, says Kerr. 4. They call in sick a lot, especially due to stress-related reasons Having an employee who goes on "stress leave" or constantly calls in sick could be a sign that they are not comfortable working under your direction, Kerr explains. "Your employee(s) may not be showing up at work as often, may come to work late, leave early, or are just seemingly never at their desks, because of long, needed breaks," adds Taylor. "Leaving the scene can take many forms — and it's a common way that your staff copes with stress. A bad boss/employee relationship is a leading cause of stress and illness," she says. 5. They don't smile around you We're not talking about the occasional bad day or mood swing. If one or more of your employees seem to look miserable every time they're around you — but you've seen them smiling while talking to others in the office — something isn't right. "It's difficult for any employee to put on a happy face when they're talking to someone they [dislike]," says Taylor. 6. They stop laughing and bantering the moment you walk into the room Not smiling when they're around you is one thing — but clamming up when you step into the office kitchen or conference room is a pretty strong sign that your employees really don't like you and don't consider you part of their inner circle, Kerr says. 7. They seem less passionate about their work than they used to be You may not be the reason for this (so many things affect one's level of motivation or enthusiasm at work) — but you could be. "If their level of enthusiasm has waned, and you're not seeing your staff jump at the opportunity to help out on new or existing projects anymore, it may be a sign you're disliked," says Taylor. 8. They never invite you to social events If your employees don't include you in any after-work social events or happy hours, it very well may be because they don't want to spend any more time with you than they absolutely have to. 9. They communicate with you via email, when they talk to others in person "Your unhappy employees may change the way they communicate with you, such as through email, voicemail, or IM, instead of in-person communications," Taylor explains. "You may detect less personal contact, so that there is less of an opportunity for potential confrontation." 10. They're short with you If you ask, "How's it going?" and they always respond with "Ok" or "Fine" — or if their emails to always get straight to the point, and never begin with a friendly "Hello" or "Good afternoon," this may be a sign they're not a huge fan of you. "If your employees are beginning to sound like your moody teenager, then that's a pretty big red flag," says Kerr. 11. They give off negative body language Whether it's a subtle eye roll or constantly assuming a closed off position with arms folded across their chest, your employees' body language will often reveal their true feelings towards you, Kerr says. 12. Their door is always closed "Many employees don't have the luxury of their own office these days, but if they do, and their door appears closed more often than not, they may be commiserating with friends, family, or even other colleagues," Taylor says. "They may be seeking advice, or worse, checking out greener pastures." 13. They constantly disagree with you "Not all employees shy away from confronting the personality clashes as they pertain to business, thankfully," says Taylor. "You may find that your staff seems increasingly more difficult and disagreeable, whereas before you were never questioned. This may be because before, they tolerated a more dictatorial management style — but now they've realized that they have nothing to lose by challenging you, in the hopes that they will see changes." 14. They resign for no good reason Scads of surveys indicate that "the boss" still ranks as a top reason for employees leaving a job. If they don't provide a good excuse or reason for leaving, there's a good chance it's you. http://www.msn.com/en-us/money/smallbusiness/14-signs-your-employees-secretly-hate-you/ar-AAdTW6p?li=AAa0dzB&ocid=UP97DHP#page=6 |

Sales for freeze-dried food, flashlights, blankets and tents have soared in Utah in recent weeks as some Mormons have begun to prepare for the end of the world. The so-called "preppers" believe the world is ending this month based on biblical prophecies, the Hebrew calendar, an unstable economy, world politics and astronomical occurrences, the Salt Lake Tribune reported Sunday. “There is a sense of urgency, like something is up. A lot of people are mentioning things about September, like a financial collapse," said customer-service representative Ricardo Aranda at American Fork’s Thrive Life, which sells mostly freeze-dried food. The Mormon apocalypse believers claim the Jewish High Holy Days that began this week will trigger a financial crisis based on the United States’ “wickedness.” They predict the full moon on Sept. 28 is the next sign of the world is ending. Some of these speculations stem from Julie Rowe’s books, “A Greater Tomorrow: My Journey Beyond the Veil” and “The Time Is Now.” Rowe, a Mormon mother of three, published the books in 2014 to detail a “near-death experience." Her two books have sold more than 20,000 copies each. Officials with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints said they do not endorse the books or their teachings. The late Mormon apostle Boyd K. Packer said in a 2011 LDS General Conference that the “end” was not near and called on young Latter-day Saints to plan for long, productive lives. “You can look forward to doing it right,” Packer said, ” — getting married, having a family, seeing your children and grandchildren, maybe even great-grandchildren.” Officials have had to debunk end-of-days predictions in the past. Last month, NASA confirmed that the world would not end in September because of an imminent asteroid strike. “There is no scientific basis – not one shred of evidence – that an asteroid or any other celestial object will impact Earth on those dates,” said Paul Chodas, manager of NASA’s near-Earth object office at the jet propulsion laboratory in Pasadena, California, at the time. “If there were any object large enough to do that type of destruction in September, we would have seen something of it by now.” http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/mormon-apocalypse-prediction-has-people-stocking-up-on-food/ar-AAehz8s?li=AAa0dzB&ocid=UP97DHP |

please my Extera Nissan 2003 has some gear issues. It is automatic gear and it is not apparently selecting gear 1 et al. The jeep moves sluggishly on initial take off but does well in motion. On climbing a hill, I notice same thing. When this happened sometime in June, a mechanic at Owerri collected 20k from and repaired it which made it ok. Now it has started same thing. I am presently in Abuja. Anyone with a good suggestion or mechanic to do this should contact me 08036196477 |

I bought an "Emergency EAU DE PARFUM" which smells well on spraying it on clothes but after a while all I perceive is a very foul smell. I bought it from a hawker in Abuja. What could have gone wrong with this? |
Could there possibly be an explanation to this. He copied his CV from his laptop that he gave his cousin to use. He transferred the cv to another system he bought newly and updated it. After amendments, each time he wants to save the file, it brings up a default name as "s..e..x.".

News flash: We're all dipped in honey and rolled in sprinkles. The average person shovels in 300 calories from added sugar every day, according to a recent report from the University of North Carolina. Roughly 20% of Americans exceed 700 calories of added sugar on a daily basis. That's an entire cup of sugar. Whoa. (See how easy that is to do with these 10 surprising foods that list sugar as the first ingredient.) "Not only are we getting added sugar from obvious places like cakes, candy, and soda, but it's also coming from healthier-sounding packaged products like salad dressing, pasta sauce, and yogurt," says Elyse Powell, one of the report's coauthors and a doctoral researcher at UNC. (To be clear, by "added sugar" we're talking about the super-processed sweet stuff you'd add to a batch of cookies, not the natural sugars found in whole fruit, veggies, and plain milk.) The big takeaway from that UNC report: Most of us could stand to cut back on sugar. The American Heart Association suggests women stick to 6 teaspoons or less of added sugar daily. That's roughly 25 grams, or 100-calories worth, if you're checking food labels. Exactly what you'll experience when you ditch the sweet stuff will depend on the size of your sugar habit; people on the high end of the sugar-consumption spectrum show "addict"-like withdrawal symptoms, including anxiety, restlessness, and even depression, research has shown. But assuming you're like the average American, there are a few things you can expect to happen once you wrestle your sugar habit back into its cage. 1. Your heart will do a happy dance. Your risk of dying from ticker-related trouble will plummet three-fold, according to research from James J. DiNicolantonio, PharmD, a cardiovascular research scientist at St. Luke's Mid-Atlantic Heart Institute in Kansas City, MO. Why? "Added sugar chronically raises insulin levels, which activates the sympathetic nervous system, increasing blood pressure and heart rate," DiNicolantonio explains. "Within a few weeks' time, you might expect to see a 10% decrease in LDL cholesterol and a 20 to 30% decrease in triglycerides." Your BP would head in the right direction too, he says. 2. You won't have to borrow your teen's acne cream. Goodbye, midlife zits! Systemic inflammation is a known acne trigger. And sugar—wouldn't you know it?—is inflammatory. One study in The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that when non soda-drinkers consumed one 12-ounce can a day for three weeks, their inflammation levels increased by 87%. Give up the soda and other sweetened drinks and you might not need as much of that expensive concealer, the research suggests. 3. You'll sidestep diabetes. Eating added sugar promotes the buildup of fatty deposits around your liver. These contribute to insulin resistance and undermine the work done by your pancreas, which normally stalls the production of insulin, says Robert Lustig, MD, author of Fat Chance: Beating The Odds Against Sugar, Processed Food, Obesity, and Disease. In a study of sugar consumption in 175 nations, Lustig found that eating 150-calories of added sugar is 11 times more likely to contribute to the development of type-2 diabetes than 150 calories from protein or fat. So swap that sugary granola for a handful of nuts, pronto. 4. You won't have to fake-smile. It's normal to be cranky for a while if you ditch sweets. (After all, they're the foods we usually rely on for comfort and a quick hit of energy.) But once you're over your sugar fix, you'll feel better than ever. A Columbia University study found women who eat a diet high in added sugars and refined grains are more likely to experience anxiety, irritability, and mood swings. 5. You'll sleep when you're supposed to (for a change). The crash from a sugar-high leaves you with mid-day sluggishness and an itching need for a nap. Also, added sugar triggers the release of the hormone cortisol, which interferes with slumber, Lustig says. Give up added sugar, and you should be more awake and alert during the day, and also better prepared to catch some Z's come bedtime. 6. You'll remember the name of your boss's husband. Battling brain fog? Sugar may be to blame. One animal study at UCLA concluded a diet high in added sugar hinders learning and memory. Over time, eating lots of sugar may actually damage communication among your brain's cells, the study shows. So when you're eyeing the doughnuts in a morning meeting (damn that co-worker with a birthday!), tell yourself you'll be sharper without the sugar. 7. You'll finally lose that extra 10 pounds. While you'll probably replace some of those sugary calories with other foods—like trading a sugary granola bar for a handful of almonds—you won't be eating as many calories overall, Powell says. Scaling back your sugar habit by 200 calories a day could help you drop 10 pounds in five to six months. Now that's sweet! http://www.msn.com/en-us/health/wellness/7-things-that-happen-when-you-stop-eating-sugar/ar-AAdNkgC?ocid=UP97DHP#page=5 |
Tonto, you are pretty, I admit but you have a daring look. And then your play true to type in some movies and real life. You might have been judged wrongly by some haters. |
