I don't think they need more defenders. They got Nelson Semedo for right back. Barca glory days were thanks to an awesome midfield and a lethal attack. We are currently straining Iniesta too much, and Busquets is no longer what he used to be. He needs to rest once in a while. Then there is the left wing... Deulofeu is good, but he isn't world class yet.

We need Dembele's wizardry and Countinho's vision and control.

nah... It's a psychology thing. When you suddenly break up something that has been harmonious, it takes time to get settled. Everyone feels Neymar has left a hole and no one trusts the other players fill his spot. The pressure is getting to them... all of them, especially the players taking up his role.

It's a phase, this too shall pass. It just sucks that the useless board keeps letting players go without seriously trying to replacing them. Even when they make an attempt, it's usually badly timed. They probably think it's the jersey that has been winning us trophies.

Two men standing together does not resolve to man squared in any part of maths. The 3rd picture resolves to 2x + y. If they have 15k each, together it would be 30k, not 225k. If they each weigh 15kg, together on the scale, it would be 30kg not 225kg.

In quantitative analysis, when you place several objects together, they are summed not multiplied. If you want to indicate multiplication at least use dot notation.

If you doubt me, try the puzzle below if your 'two-objects-together-are-squared' logic wouldn't fall flat on its face.
