gypsey:that's how you understood my post, including "verify her claims first"? Amazing. Well done. Don't try to go 'strawman' on me though. An adult killed someone and you want her to just be allowed to walk away free because she CLAIMS she was attacked. He has been making advances but she remained in the house and even sent the only other person (who could have been a deterrent or at least a witness) in the house away to buy sugar, leaving her alone with the dreaded rapist. Somehow there was a big-enough stone nearby in the house waiting to be used. Smooth tale, but it doesn't add up. No one was there to confirm her story, so it has to be verified. Interpret that however way you wish. NB: The lady isn't 14 years old. Her age was mentioned like 3 times. I thought you even read the post. |
gypsey:smh. Simply because the dead man cannot tell his side of the story, he definitely deserved death. Misplaced empathy. You don't know what she needs. You were not there when it happened. All you have is her story which may be true or outright lies like the ones she told the little cousin. Her claims have to verified first, she can't escape prosecution. Anyone can cook up an attempted rape tale. I don't buy such tales that are only told when the storyteller needs to escape the consequences of her actions. |
gypsey:possibly the same reason some guys kill people they know who may have been nice to them or not. Possibly the same reason some women have killed people they know, including babies and little kids just because they aren't theirs. Gender doesn't make anyone less capable of crime. Humans are capable of the best and the worst, and at times defying reason. The issue is not whether her was nice to her but whether she killed him as a spur-of-the-moment act of self-defence or whether it was planned. The part about the stone makes the latter seem more likely. She may or may not have been attacked sexually, but what definitely happened is that she killed him, deceived his little son and tried to run away. |
It's all too easy to churn out a rape story to get some sympathy. What isn't easy to understand is why she had a stone big enough to kill in her room. Unless it can be proved that she did not keep the stone with the intent to kill him with the son tactfully sent away, it looks like premeditated murder. Hers one side of the story though, and it doesn't add up. Too bad dead men tell no tales. |
Ok... Seen. |
I beg to disagree. Success has many friends and babes. It's only when you do not have that you can tell who is truly loyal to you. What's more, some people have been spurred on to greatness by their partners. It isn't all leeches out there. |
Nairaland sha... Who is Miranda Trump again? Do you mean Melania? Or Ivanka? 39 comments and not even one soul asked questions. ![]() |
pocohantas:that is how you measure your worth as a woman and as a person? That's just deep... and sad. |
I wouldn't be surprised if he contests and wins. The majority of Nigerians are religious and ethnic bigots, and naive ones at that. |
Angy55:women have always been better players. They don't get caught as easily. |
Nope. I don't slap people, and I don't roll with hot tempered people that act before they think. Any girl that is stupid enough to slap me would never slap another person with that hand again. |
Why did she not send him the poem, instead of disturbing the world with it? If you can't tell us the offending words you told him, what's the use telling us about the aftermath? Beating around the bush in a million words, without really saying anything. ![]() Like anyone truly cares. |
Fraud, yes. Rape, no. From the story, it would have been totally okay with her if the money was truly multiplied for her when she returned. |
That's the average lady for you, a commodity to be carted away by the highest bidder. Never chase women, chase money and the women would come in droves. |
HenrySilva9:ah! Why na? You could have called their bluff, and settled collective scores together. I loved the way mine ended. |
Chai... Walking dead season 1. That game made me cry. |
ezenwajosh:Google also remotely positions the phones without owner's knowledge so that they take panoramic pictures right? Smh. Google has its team of photographers, and they usually use their Street View cars in streets, sometimes tricycles and trekkers. They came to Lagos some months ago and that's why we now have Street View of some places in Lagos. While it is possible for users to CONTRIBUTE images, the images are supplementary material. It also has to follow their guidelines to even be accepted and published. True, they spy on you all the time, and track your web activity, but they don't not force snap pics for Street View with your phones. |
ezenwajosh:So much ignorance in one post. Who told you street view is live and from the cameras of random passersby? |
This is short gown? |
donjerz:lol. You own your own weekends, and no one is forced to stay anywhere. You can go to work from London everyday, as long as you get to the office as early as you are supposed to, and do what you are supposed to do. |
ybalogs:yeah. Graduated from his department years ago. A very gentle man. |
Sorry about that. I dunno if vitiligo has a cure, but either way, friends and loved ones should help her regain her self confidence and look beyond the condition. Vitiligo or not, a person's real value lies within. |
Jeez! Otasowie? Jeez!! Why? |
Cacawa2:Microsoft and Facebook aren't tech companies? Lol. I don't think you even understand what technology means, much less ICT. |
He's right jare. Our |
Hypocrites everywhere. You guys use near-náked ladies for videos, and like similar stuff on IG. Yet you have the guts to condemn a mother feeding her baby. ![]() |
Fake boobs aren't exciting |
biacan:seriously? Are you prudes born or made? |
When your babe has nice ass... Own it. ![]() |
Just one. |
