RomanceRe: What Is The Approximate Right Age For Marriage? by bamdil(m): 10:43pm On Nov 07, 2007
I think it is BEST for you LADIES in the house to be a "SISTER", and MEN in the house to be a "FATHER", this will make you forget the barrier of the age limit grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
RomanceRe: What Is The Approximate Right Age For Marriage? by bamdil(m): 10:22pm On Nov 07, 2007
I believe that you can marry whenever you are matured enough to do so.  A lady of 21- 28 is capable to marry while a guy of 23-30 is equally capable.  Your exact age that you marry will have either a positive or negative effect later on.  There was a woman who is the world youngest great grand mother she is 48 years old, her daughter is of age 30 and she is a grand mum, compare that to ladies who marry at that age.
The benefit of marrying early is that you will be able to see 3 or more generations to come.
The negative effect is that if you are not of good standard you will hate yourself if you try that.

I quite agree with you Suze. Poverty is the main course of the problem. The young man may think of how to feed the wife and if a child comes their way, how to feed the entire family. Whereas, in advanced country, the job is there, for both of them(hubby and wife) and if there isn't a job, the govt gives money to help them.

PoliticsRe: Nigerian Student Jailed In Edinburgh For Drug Trafficking by bamdil(m): 7:39pm On Sep 08, 2007
Guy na da one u see, just yesterday, two Nigerian illegal immigrants were sentence to 10 and 5 years imprisonment in London, why? For the fact that they attempted to rob their boss last year with guns in his outlet around the late hour of the day, the London paper shows that they wore masks and that they called the accountant to remove all the money in the machine which she was about to do until their boss came and harrass them and the two flee, one jumped, broke his leg and had some cut on his arm, the other escaped injury. The Judge said that after their imprisonment, they will be deported back to Nigeria. Well, some Naijas will still say it's better for them, they will be eating freely sleeping watching tv, for those years, when they finish serving their purnishment nko, begin again embarassed embarassed embarassed I'm ashamed of them embarassed embarassed embarassed
PoliticsRe: Naira To Be Re-Denominated by bamdil(m): 11:26pm On Aug 15, 2007
The cost of food items and other products will reduce to its lowest rate.  Just imagine if people are buying a 5 naira buscuit for 5kobo. How will you feel? Though for you to get 20 naira will be alot of problem, you will sweat before you get it.  Moreover cars and other products like petroleum will reduce, now that they are selling fuel for 70naira, then it will be something like 70/100=70kobo per litre.

There will be an added advantage to people living in Nigeria than those leaving abroad. People sending money home might even be requesting for money from Nigeria if that should work out well.

The rate of the development of the country can work better than if the economy rate should continue to increase.
I quite understand the technique of CBN in this regard, they first allow people to invest money in the banks because of what will shortly take place.  I was expecting this even before Soludo changed everything, which is the introduction of the 200, 500 and 1000 naira notes. But I can see that all those plans are for good.
I like the work of Soludo, he should keep it up.
InvestmentRe: Effect Of Naira Redomination On Stock Market Investments? by bamdil(m): 11:14pm On Aug 15, 2007
I believe that it wont cause much problem, it will only affect the investors rate of calculations. If you invest you will need to be extremely brilliant t calculate it before jumping into the conclusion because you might be wrong in your calculation.

Jokes EtcA Real Life Joke by bamdil(op): 2:58pm On Jun 25, 2007
After 7/7 attack on London metrobus, a lot of Londoners have been so worried about the Alkaida's method of attacking Britain.
There is this story of a man who wanted to board a bus in the bus stop, while waiting for a bus, he saw one man with a lot of beards on his cheek, he checked his mode of dressing it really resemled "Osama", the guy that resembled Osama was not just standing alone but he was with a bag ( i mean hand bag). So, the guy dropped the bag and wanted to open the zip, before you know it the man that was looking at this man started to run. Why? You will ask, may be he wanted to be preparing for another bomb attack, on another metrobus in london.

Christianity EtcRe: How Christians Pray by bamdil(m): 10:52pm On Jun 23, 2007
you don't need to jump up and down before God will be able to answer your prayer. You don't need to speak in a magnificent microphone before you can be heard by God. You don't need to to meet a pastor before your prayer can be answered by God.  You don't need to shout and shout before your prayer can be answered.
Take this illustration:
Assuming you are a father and you have a son, he is seriously in need of new clothes and shoes, so he comes to you and ask you to buy clothes and shoes for him. By coming to you, will it be appropriate that the child will shout to you " DADDY, BUY ME CLOTHES AND SHOES, DADDY BUY ME CLOTHES AND SHOES", even if you know that it is appropriate for you to buy that, you wont buy it because that is not how to ask. Won't you? That's just the same thing to God, the Bible says in Matthew 6:2 , "that the have already have their reward", which simply means he wont answer them.
Another thing is that repetition is not for God, you don't need to say things allover again everytime you are praying. How will you feel according to the illustation above if your child should continue to repeat that saying everysecond that Daddy I say buy me a cloth, Daddy I say buy me a cloth, buy me a cloth, buy me a cloth, , wont you send that child away? That's just it. God doesn't want repetition in the book of Matthew 6:7, Do not say the same things over and over again, "
TV/MoviesRe: Has Anyone Watched Pirates Of The Carribean by bamdil(m): 10:26pm On Jun 23, 2007
Pirates of the Carribean's part three is not as interesting as the first and second, the day i was watching it, I was dozing off in front of the TV to d extent that I had to change to another movie.
The very good part of it is that the actors and actress in the movie presented the show life in London and alot of people went there to watch it in the Cinema. It was among the best sold movie of the month as far as Hollywood is concern.

TravelRe: Traffic Issues In Lagos. What Can Be Done? by bamdil(m): 9:52pm On Jun 23, 2007
I wont discourage the use of Lagbus, it is also done in London, what the government need to do is to purchase more buses and at the same time make stops on each 4minutes drive.  It shouldn't be that a bus will move from 7up straight to Obalende, that is absurd, I think what should be done is to give buses different routes and they should number them take for instance bus 177 should be taking the route of Ikeja to Maryland, and bus 202 from Ojota to Ogba and so on.
Apart from this, the government need to ask ever owners of a car to be doing MOT every 3months, MOT is meant for checking the cars that are still okay to be used on our road, the ones that are not good should be taken away and sold to manufacturer who will repair it and the owner will be able to pay instalmentally.
Moreover the government should quickly implement the use of Railway, they need to give contract on constructing both underground and overhead railway lines. This will equally reduce the rate of traffic in this congested area.
Without a good plan, I am assuring you that Lagos will be worse than the unnoticeable state in America.

Baby,
sorry for that, that answers your question. You asked with genuine interest in him, but he answered you with total disregard to your feeling, I mean what you should have done is to tell him that he is having guilty conscience for not showing you true love.

My advice, find a better guy, u are still young

Some guys are like that, ladies do this more than guys
TravelRe: Traffic Issues In Lagos. What Can Be Done? by bamdil(m): 4:46pm On Jun 20, 2007
Sorry!!! This problem can never be solved, no be EPE, na true i dey yearn you.
My reasons are:
1. If the govt introduces train means of transportation, it will never be maintained
2. The introduction of Lagbus can never solve the problem so far it is done in Nigeria
3. The govt can never enforce the law that da-ku-da-ji motors should not be drove in such city like Lagos.
4.  If a car is batched in Lagos, do u think he will let others go without solving that issue first?
5.  The mentality of Lagosians is that If I want to buy just handkerchief on the road, others will have to wait for me to finish first before I give way.

All these just to mention but a few will never allow free flow transport in Lagos of ou own.

PhonesRe: Celtel Halfs The Tariff For Network Calls by bamdil(m): 2:07pm On Mar 05, 2007
Guys, dont mind them, they were celebrating the Award of the Best Brand of the Year, so they decided to reduce the price of celtel to celtel for just 4 nights. I'm so much dissapointed in Celtel, the fact is first they sent the message to most of my friends including me at the last day of the period. Just immagine! Others give free night calls. But Celtel reduces night call to half of the price for 4 nights. Which type of 4 nights self, abi 1 night self. I'm pissed off with this network.

cute-ass:
Please don't speak for everybody. I am a Nigerian and i do get massage from time to time when i feel i need one. I either get it from someone close or pay at the massage spa. wink
I wasn't speaking for everybody, I only noticed that most people doesn't have time to be massaging, even if they do, some feel that it is when you are rich that you can be doing that. Yes, you are right you can call a close person of yours to massage you if you are not intrested in going to a massage spa.
But still the questions still remains.
HealthRe: The Menace Of Local Gin (paraga) by bamdil(m): 8:15am On Mar 02, 2007
@dayokanu
I know say u are talking about MUSEYA, it doesn't stop alone with commercial drivers and conductors alone, even some private drivers of companies do engage in such a thing too.
There was an instance of a driver who used Paraga in one establishment, this establishment deals with health organisation, because they understand the risk that is associated with this, they asked the driver to come for test which he did, and they later on found out that it was true, he was sacked after they discover this.
If all organisations are doing this and those in health sectors are waging war on commercial drivers, i hope it will reduce to its bearest minimum.
