it's amazing how ignorant some people are. The nigerian legal system only recognizes 3 types of marriage: customary, islamic, and one under the marriage act. Any church that gives certificate not obtained from the registry perpetrates illegality. In the eye of the law there's no difference btw church and registry wedding since they are produce of the marriage act. Most established churches are certified by law to conduct weddings n issue certificates on its behalf. Why will i subject myself to court wedding conducted by unknown riffraffs when i can enjoy a legal, sanctified wedding in church?

it's not the basic but it's part of it. A governor that can't articulate his ideas, protect his state's interest or attract investors has no business being governor. In a country of 150M, We deserve the best of the best.

Who do you think is Nigeria's most articulate Governor? Agreed that oratory skills do not always equal excellent performance; I still hold that a good command of the English language, flawless and racy expression, and admirable logical reasoning should be some of the sterling qualities of a Governor. So who has got them among the lot? My guess is that it's any of these 3: Raji Fashola, Adams Oshiomole, and Godswill Akpabio. What's your take?

This time, the demands are hinged on overall devolopment of the universities. A strike action is imminent again. Are ASUU's demands realistic considering Nigeria's dire states in other sectors? Is it not better if results are witheld instead of a total strike action, given that the students are always the ultimate losers?
