Why is it easy to comment on the Christian topics but when I want to comment on the Islam section I get a series of interrogation.

Why can anybody access the Christian topics but have to accept to be a Muslim before they can comment on the Islam topics?

The People That Just Don't Care:

I was opportuned to be in a Winners Chapel church bus going to their head quarters in Ota one sunday morning and there were these two pretty girls all dressed up like they were going to a big event on the Island.

When everyone started singing and clapping, as was the winners tradition, these girls just acted like it didn't concern them.
They kept on pressing their phones and chatting with each other. Even when the prayer session began, they didn't care.

Now, these girls were going to Canaan land. It's not like they were going somewhere else, so I didn't see why they should have acted the way they did.

It's seems at times, people just think that they are too big or too beautiful or too "high class" to participate in some certain activities and just like these two ladies, they fail to give God the honor and respect he deserves. Sparing just few minutes of your time to engage in the praise and worship that other members of the church you are attending are engaging in shouldn't be a difficult thing.

Although I have seen this just once, I have heard about other similar instances. I also believe there are other ladies/guys, perhaps here on Nairaland who still act this way and honestly, it's wrong on many levels.
Thank you for this post. God's blessings.

God is no respecter of persons. I might be okay if one doesn't participate in those worship activities and is quietly have a solemn time of theirs but to be engaging in frivolous activities while worship is going on... common we're in 2015, people should be more enlightened.

You wanted reactions and you're already getting it in droves.

Bia, is marriage the ultimate thing in life? So many people out there are married and have all family relatives flooding the house...but are they happy?

A lady hours ago on here complained of finding condoms in her fiance's effects... you think she won't have second thoughts about the consequences of her inactions/actions.

Once you have God, and you love fellow beings as your self, you're good to go. Don't let society conform you.

My sister your man is cheating. Like I always say all men are divided into two those that cheat and those that are violent. Your man falls into the first category. Never you think he will change because he will get worse. So if you care about what people say then go ahead but know that those people will leave you to face your marriage woes alone.
I guess I'm not a man then. Such hasty and flawed logic.

Hhhmmmmm.... I beg to disagree. From personal experience, love is still very real. And if you read the OP's post, you will see there is some love involved between the two of them. I may tend to agree that love may not be as common as it was in the days of our fathers, but it definitely still very much exists.
I quite agree with you. I've been there once and now we're in a state of instant gratification. Everyone is looking out for themselves and cynicism is the order of the day. A dude can't just say hi extending a friendly overture to a girl without the chick having some other thoughts and vice versa.

One thing stays true though, if you find a diamond, keep it and stop looking around for glitters.

Hello. I like your post. I like you better.
My advice is simple. Do you really love her? Does she really love you? Why don't you do something special?
Tell her you have just 1k and you want her to decide what you both should do with it. That's a thrilling birthday adventure.
She has stayed with you thru it all, she won't leave you because of your birthday not being all that.
I am sure it will be fun if you are both in love.
Happy birthday in advance. May the Almighty give you many more years ahead. AMEN!!!!@
I think love is a myth these days but it's refreshing to to know some chicks will stick with you if it's not all rosy.
