Please y'all should use your brains. No she is not supposed to stop living. But she is supposed to keep a low profile until the case blows over. Why? Because of threads and situations like this. |

Crime › Re: Student Of Bayero University Commits Suicide (see Her Photo) by banmee(m): 4:26pm On May 27, 2016 |
spencekat: Minus Spencekat. It's easy. All i need is to identify what you cherish most in the world, take it away from you, and give you the impression that you will never get it back, and gradually start taking everything else away from you. You'd be begging for death. That is what happens to people who commit suicide. They lose all hope. |

First of all, I was not sent here by my parents and we are not rich. I am here on a scholarship sponsored by your Government. If Nigeria was better than India, I dont see the reason why the government will sponsor a scholarship to a country they are better than. Have you seen an Indian student sponsored by their government in Nigeria.
Use your brain my nigga. Damn dude. Chill out. That's a brutal knock out punch if i'd ever seen one. Take am easy oooo. |

GWMI: This is the worst economy period in Nigeria.I think every Nigeria is affected by the economy crunch of this Govt.APC is the worst political party since we came to this democracy.Thanks. This has been gathering momentum since independence. You can't depend on one source of income for half a century and worse still, spend the proceeds like drunken sailors and not expect this to happen. Not to mention the incredibly corrupt mentality it's citizens have. If you want to know who is to blame, just stand in front of a mirror. Bad citizens, bad country. Good citizens, good country. |

Saladin25: Oh! it is unfortunate. I hope some big organisations would take that bold step in Nigeria. The welfare of their workers should be a priority. I hope so too. And so much more. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, equal opportunity in the work place, fraternization, how to handle sensitive information, etc. There are so much Nigerians need to be educated on. |

Saladin25: Rahmon92 is right. Suicide is for coward. Her own problem is small. I have one guy that this is his 9th year in faculty of Engineering in Unilag. I got admission into unilag 3 years after he got admission. I met him there and I left him there. The guy didn't kill himself. What could be more frustrating than that. All you are doing is comparing resiliency. We all have different resiliency tolerance. Unless you are saying that we all have the same pain tolerance. When it comes to suicide, we all have our trigger points. It takes one life changing event to trigger it. In my organisation, we have to take classes once a year on suicide prevention and how to identify someone who might be suicide prone. I am also master resiliency certified which means i teach people in my organisation on how to cope with life's day to day challenges. I don't get paid for it. it is just an additional duty for me. You'd be surprised how fragile human beings are. |

Michellla: what would you have suggested? Do you know how scared I am of you for asking that question? It stresses the disconnect with what Nigerians know about the law and what is normal. Adultery is not a crime so there is nothing you can do to either the man or woman except of course divorce. I keep saying Nigeria's problem is not it's leaders but that it's people don't know anything about anything. Their mindset is completely phucked up. Every time I comment on NL, it is like I am trying to educate children. God help Nigeria. |

You haven't said anything to sway the argument that anywhere is better than Nigeria. If I had said that to a Ghanaian, or a german he would have extolled all the positives of his country. All you did was compare Nigeria to the worst of the worst places. Lol....see the irony? |

The way I saw him changed after the elections. If he didn't kno wat to do wit his millions,he shd have used it to support his Ogoni people. He shd ask JayJay,Kanu,Taribo west and co how legends shd conduct themselves during elections, despite having candidates they voted for. He is not a politician. He has a right to voice what he believes in. If he was a politician, and did what you say he did, then it would be partisan. |

dearpreye: Let's start with the demands for true federalism first. Nigerians don't understand the meaning. If they did, they'd understand that as of right now, that is what is being practiced in Nigeria. Aside from state police (which i will never recommend for Nigeria because of it's tribalistic tendencies) Nigeria is a federal state. Oil has clouded the meaning in Nigeria. |
