fratermathy:That is just the dumbest i've ever heard. It's just like saying "do you need to be a doctor to work with a doctor". Just because you work in a hospital does not make you a doctor. |
Beehshorp:So cleaning a dead person as an occupation to you. Suffer no good i swear. It corrupts the mind. |
fratermathy:You've never worked with or helped a rape victim but yet you know so much. Smh. I guarantee a lot of knuckle heads out there will....................You know what? Nigerians deserve all they have. |
saaedlee:You don't even know what the phuck you are talking about. |
xdos:The only reason i can think that you would have this opinion is that; 1. You have not been to many countries. 2. You are used to the corruptive system in Nigeria. Nigeria is better than most African countries, but not Ghana. I've lived there. I've worked there. I know. |
xdos:I would seriously advice you to stop and read the things you post before clicking submit in the future. Holy crap. The bolded comment of yours is the whole point. It is why they are better than Nigeria. Nigeria cannot maintain a university hostels toilet and you want them to manage power generation. Ghana is organized as you yourself have confessed, in all aspects of their lives. The only reason you cannot comprehend the importance of that is because you are too used to the corruptive nature in Nigeria. I hope you are not a manager because if you use that line that because consumption is more, a "RICH" nation cannot meet up even though they are rich, you'd be fired. I used america as an example because you keep thinking that provision is limited because of size. That is completely false. Provision of anything is limited if the people providing it are ignorant of the mechanism of what they want to provide, are corrupt and are totally disorganized. |
fratermathy:Nairaland is filled with people who claim to be authourities on issue which they know nothing about. That was how one was suggesting ten ways to avoid sleeping when driving. Number 1 was not to consume sugar. Number 10 was to drink energy drinks to stay awake. I will negate information of others if i find that the information is dangerous to the public. You have nothing to back up your hypothesis. All you have are things you "think" a rape victim should do and shouldn't do. Really? |
madridsta007:Because the young minds are as corrupt as the old minds. The mindset of generations of Nigerians to come is completely and and totally corrupt. The rest of the world know it but it will take a millennia for Nigerians to accept it. By then it will be too late. |
fratermathy:A lot of what you wrote makes no sense at all. You were right in some aspects though like going to the hospital and calling the police. Aside that, almost everything else you suggested goes against everything i know for a fact that a rape victim should do. You are basically telling a victim not to live a normal life which is exactly what she needs. They are supposed to call the police, go to a hospital and see a psychiatrist or a victim advocate. That's it. The psychiatrist alone can determine what the victim needs from talking with them. It is not a one size fits all system. I have seen rape victims shrug off the incident in less than a week and are back to work and some take months to recover. A psychiatrist job is to get them to a normal way of life as quickly as possible by making them do the normal things and routines they are accustomed to. I am a SHARP rep for my organisation and have assisted rape victims so i know. |
dainformant:It is what any normal person should do. |
STARGREEN:As far as i am concerned there is only one achievement he has managed to accomplish. He has prevented Nigeria from collapsing completely. I thought it would be impossible especially since the price of oil plummeted. In fact, he performed a miracle. I don't think Nigerians think things through thoroughly. This is a country maligned with corruption, zero saving, zero infrastructure, and animalistic tendencies. A country with only one source of income for half a century and they expect their present situation not to happen. Una try. |
Zico5: |
proeast:You are ahead of all dull Nigerians. Congratulations. |
Nairalanders are so mentally challenged you need pictures to explain things. Is this the new phucked up pattern of threads? |
Kolababe:When people isolate themselves in a particular environment they shackle their exposure. You have no idea what cheerleaders are or what they look like. |
Tolexander:People like forming. I have not had a manicure in decades but it did not stop me from being successful. I just use my teeth and snip it off. Simple. |
xdos:What you are saying is because Nigeria has a larger population so they can't provide for everyone. So how do you explain America who has almost double Nigeria's population but can provide for almost everyone? Do you know a manager would be fired for asking that question? |
xdos:We are not talking about their demands for power but how they can provide it. Even if Nigeria's demands were 100MW, it would still not be able to provide it. What you are saying is because Nigeria has a larger population so can't provide for everyone. So how do you explain America who has almost double Nigeria's population but can provide for almost everyone? Nigeria is a lot richer you say but how come they can't pay salaries, maintain infrastructure, provide jobs. Do you see the problem? |
xdos:Apart from Ghana, i have been to South Africa, Kenya, Equitorial Guinea. All these countries are eons more stable in every aspect to Nigeria. Let's not even mention Europe, Asia and the Americas. Nigeria needs to put patriotism aside and face the truth about their country. |
chukzyblingz:I've lived and worked in Ghana. I noticed you did not disprove my points about power generation, safety, how dirty Nigeria is, the jungle justice that goes on on a frequency in the country. Somewhere in Nigeria as we converse, someone is being brutally murdered on the streets and people are shouting for joy. I don't know what kind of lifestyle you are used to but i know for a fact that it is not the norm in Ghana. I would take the Ghanaian society over Nigeria's any day any time. And by the way, why are you in Ghana? |
chukzyblingz:Which is why i said go there. Personal experience is the best experience. I wonder what you mean by "standard of living" in this context. If i were you i would not even bring it into this conversation. I know you are patriotic but come on. You, me, and the rest of the world knows that Nigeria is just a name with nothing to back it up. Nigeria does not have a standard, so how can they have a standard of living? Quality of life is poor in Nigeria to say the least and you know it. If i had to compare Nigeria to any country i have been to i would probably say Afghanistan. You'd be surprised how similar both countries are. They are tribalistic as phuck, corrupt as hell and they love jungle justice. They are also very very dirty. I am not saying Ghana is fantastic but compared to Nigeria, it is heaven. |
gurunlocker:You never see anything. Wait until the first engine drop. I no no why people like fat women. African man go say "she's curvy". Hell no. Shapeless is more like it. |
akunjohn:What you read is only a snippet of the bad side of Ghana. Every country has bad practices. The thing to look at is the frequency. Even America has bad things you can talk about but what you have to also look at is the frequency. Ghana is a million times better than Nigeria. You have to go there to understand. Can you go out and buy fuel and 1 a.m in the morning in Nigeria? Can you drive a mile cross country in Nigeria without experiencing death traps. Can you say with confidence that you feel safe and have no fear of armed robbers in Nigeria? Can you honestly swear that you are guaranteed 40 hours of light in Nigeria? These are the realities of an average Ghanian. And i ain't Ghanaian either. |
As far as i am concerned there is only one achievement he has managed to accomplish. He has prevented Nigeria from collapsing completely. I thought it would be possible especially since the price of oil plummeted. In fact, he performed a miracle. I don't think Nigerians think things through thoroughly. This is a country maligned with corruption, zero saving, zero infrastructure, and animalistic tendencies. A country with only one source of income for half a century and they expect their present situation not to happen. Una try. |
saaedlee:You have a strange thought process. They are kids. How would you recognise them? What can you do with their pictures? The only way to identify them is if you know their parents. Do you know me for instance? I wonder which cave you migrated from? I can just imagine how miserable your family would be. |
LesbianBoy:You guys will always deserve whatever leadership you have. Be it Jonathan or buhari. You all have no idea what leadership is nor what it entails. The fact that anyone can apologise to an incompetent, corrupt individual is mind boggling. Nigerians are like children who don't know what the phuck they want or need. God help una. |
EddyNumerouno:It is not Arik that is phucked up, it is Nigeria. Do you think they would try it in Europe or America. They can only bring their standards low in a country that does not have standards. So, basically, it is Nigeria that phucked up. |
luccicouture:Sorry to tell you this but you married the wrong guy. You are on the path of being what most married women are in Nigeria; Slave nannies. I hope you take my advice. Hold out as long as you can before having kids with him. |
kalak ama alaid aoala alfivma. |
Vinshu:Same here. I do same with kids and naturally they just close their eyes or walk out. From day one I already talked to them about sex and bad language. It's either they hear it from me or at school. I'd rather they hear it from me. I also warned them that if I ever catch them swearing or looking at porn before they are 18, they'd be grounded till they are 18. They never do. At least not in School and not in front of me anyway. |
Sunnycliff:You just post things without thinking. How is it a misgiving? Were you the recipient of whatever treatment he received? The best you should have said was not to put his personal business out there for everyone. Your thought process is amazing. Basically what you are saying is for every child to take whatever emotional turmoil a parent gives out and feel nothing. Did you even read his post? His father was cheating on his mother and abusive towards him. Because your dad did that to you and you are used to it does not mean everyone else is used to that kind of life. The days of parents doing whatever the phuck they want with their children in Africa is at an end. The mind of a black man. Smh. P.s when you reply please try and be logical, thought provoking and coherent. Don't retort with your usual abusive comments which are mostly devoid of any thought. |
Codes151:Yes I am. |
