I paid 70 thousand. I considered buying from you guys or any online platform but i was told that you might eventually buy an ecu with the vin and all that and yet it wont work with your car. We kept changing and programming till we hit the right one.

Nice! I'll let my guy know he was on the right track. How much did it cost? (We weren't selling ECUs because they are too delicate to ship with freight forwarders but now we use FedEx so I'm curious).

Thank you all for your moral support and assistance eventually we changed the ECU and that was what solved it all.

If 2 is the reason, car is like a magnet. Just like a magnet you need to bring it nearer to the metal for it to attract. He should stop beside the desired babe and see how fast the trick works. It cuts off the whole introduction part straight to the main menu.

We cleaned out the gear serviced it and changed the oil. Still jerking but his next step is to have a look at the valve body .... fingers crossed.


Ps: I once read online that reprogramming the ECU is one of the common solutions how true is this?

One of my techs has a different opinion that will be cheaper if he is right. He says "This fault is from the chassis, a part is shifting when the brake is stepped on. from the front chassis. i.e any of the arm". I disagree but worth having someone take a look because transmission is more expensive. I hope he is right.

A single jerk ma. I don’t feel it in the pedal only the car just jerks. Once then comes to a halt.

If you Want to save fuel buy Camry (i4 not v6) if you want to be respected when you pull up in the hood buy Lexus. I was faced with this same option but for an Is250 and I went for it!

Camry problem’s uhhh oil burning for sure (07-09 & probably 10) sticky dashboard.

Lexus problem uhhhhh can’t really think now ohhh sticky dashboard and peeling steering control buttons... but hey, it’s a Lexus get a dashboard cover and zoom off!!
