I find it amusing that she has been divorced three times and had kids by her future 3rd husband while still married to her 2nd husband.

And what has this got to do with her rejection or disdain for homo marriages? At least she is not involved in lesbianism or other abomination. Her faith as a Christian forbid issuing such terrible document to gay people. She can resign tho if she can't continue to do the job.

A county clerk in Kentucky refused to provide marriage licenses to gay couples Tuesday despite a Supreme Court injunction, saying that she was operating “under the authority of God.”

Rowan County Clerk Kim Davis had stopped issuing all marriage certificates in mid-August following the high court’s landmark June 26 ruling legalizing gay marriage in the United States.

Davis had filed suit in federal court, arguing that her Christian religious beliefs should exempt her from the ruling. A federal judge however disagreed.

Davis appealed the ruling to the Supreme Court and sought an emergency stay, but the court rejected her motion.

On Tuesday, at least two gay couples entered the small county courthouse in Morehead, Kentucky demanding that Davis issue them marriage licenses. They were trailed by television cameras, reporters and gay rights activists.

“We are not issuing marriage licences today,” Davis said, according to footage recorded by a reporter for the local Courier-Journal newspaper.

“Under whose authority?” demanded one of the men seeking to get married. He accused Davis of discrimination.

“Under God’s authority,” she replied.

“My beliefs cannot be separated from me,” Davis added. “I’m willing to face my consequences, as you all will face your consequences when it comes time for judgment.”

When the couples said they would not leave until they were issued a license, Davis said: “Then you’re going to have a long day.”

Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear in July ordered all county clerks to obey the Supreme Court’s ruling and allow same-sex marriages to take place, or resign.

On Tuesday the American Civil Liberties Union filed a motion to find Davis in contempt of court for refusing to issue the licenses. ACLU said the court set a contempt hearing for Thursday.

“This is overwhelming. It feels ridiculous,” said David Moore, who with his partner David Ermold was turned away by Davis, according to the daily.

“Who has to go through this to get married? This is 2015. This is America,” Moore added. “This is what we pay taxes for — to be treated like this.”

Until the US Supreme Court’s historic June ruling, the country’s 50 states formed a legal patchwork: some states had already legalized gay marriage, while others were forced to do so by federal courts, and others had continued to ban it.

Go read the history of Roman Catholic Church. That church did not emanate from Apostles! Catholic church is a direct consequence of false doctrine introduced into church few decades after the departure of the Apostles. It is called Nicolaitan deeds in Rev 2:6

The truth is we are looking at a fulfillment of biblical prophecies here and Roman Catholic Church is a system whose existence span centuries. A system that was responsible for the death of millions of faithful christians who refused to follow their dogmas when the church exercised combination of political and religious power over the entire Europe during the Dark Ages. It is wrong to single out a priest or pope for criticism because the church is a generational system and it is not about an individual person.

Unfortunately Roman Catholic Church refered to as beast/whorish mother is regaining the power she lost in 1798 when the pope of that year was dethroned and imprisoned and subsequently killed by one military general. With the help of America and World Council of Churches, Roman Catholic Church or the Beast as the bible call it, will rise again and this time around, the entire world will worship her (note that about 2billion people are already following). The end of everything is near. The gentile time is over.

Those who will make heaven are known to God even before the foundation of the world was laid. I don't believe, however, that God intentional destined some people for hell and others for heaven but he fore knew those who will accept and those who will reject HIM. Cain rejected God even when God extended hands of forgiveness to him why? Because, from the beginning, he did not belong to God and there was no way he could be saved. God couldn't save him. Note that Cain belonged to Devil. Cain is not son of Adam and therefore not the son of God. (Gen 4:9-11, Gen 5:3, Luke 3:23-38, 1John 3:12) As it was then, so it is now. Until the days of Noah, these elect were known physically because they were the sons of Seth but at some point the two races were joined together in mixed marriage (abomination) (Gen 6:1-3) and were finally fused together following the flood. Even Noah is not a pure seed! But God is God. He know his own and he will never loose the smallest of them.

So the point is: Christ died for the whole world: But his death is a stumbling block for many and a salvation for the elect. Just as he extended forgiveness to Cain, he is also extending same to those who will never come to salvation because from the beginning, they were not of his flock and therefore could not save them. So at the end of the day no one will rise and say: "Christ didn't offer me his salvation, he didn't die for me, he didn't offer me forgiveness" No one will be able to win his case against God.

Sorry if you have done fresh install but next time you don't have to if you have access to a strong and excessive wifi. The latest LTS for ubuntu is 15.04 called vivid. Next release is due to be released in october.

The downside in upgrade is that you can only upgrade from one release to the immediate next and not in any other way. For instance from 14.10 to 15.04 and not from 14.04 to 15.04. Got it? Now you understand why I said you need abundant wifi for successive upgrades.

These abstract equations just don't solve anything physically. Fourier series, Laplace transforms, inverse and hyperbolic functions etc are all hogwash. The only law I find relevant periodically is Kirchuff 's law on current when designing a circuit. I don't know what Mr Issac Newton was thinking when he came up with these abstract equations.

How could you say that? obviously you don't have any idea how Fourier series, Laplace transform and general differential equations are being used on daily basis in the wall street.

so many fools and haters of knowledge on this thread. Yet when they see flying plane, compact mobile solutions etc , they shout wow! As if those things were made by world billionaires or by people who crave for money. Fools don't understand that billionaires never set out in the first place to become billionaires. This is why lots of Nigerian graduates don have a well defined career path. They look for jobs in oil companies, send cv to marketing companies, insurance firms and when hospitals or saw milers roll out vacancies, they also send the same cv to those places and their confusion never come to an end.

Its a big shame what most fools put on this thread

which GNOME? I advice you install KDE. Lightdm is not reliable, from my own experience

So i now decides to put d pc on CentOS. The problem is that the BIOS is not seen CentOS CD so i can boot from it. Any help pls?

there are two ways. but since I dont know how good you are on linux, I will just tell you to start your machine with either live cd or usb and then download boot-repair. it is partition repairable software with gui interface. select automatic repair. when done, restart your system making sure that your BIOS or UEFI firmware is reset to boot from harddisk. Thats it. your GRUB will detect and load all OSs and you can choose from there.
