The point is whether a huge sum of money is spent on philantrophy/helping the needy OR a kid's party, it remains the choice of the owner to spend it how he wants. It doesnt even help that 90% of d time IN NAIJA, it wasnt hard earned

There are people earning little or nothing and  spend their lives going to underdeveloped countries to teach little children how to read. What makes you different from them - CHOICE! Shall I judge you based on that?

Money is spent in relation to what you have. I may buy a Gucci timepiece for £695 and you buy a Timex for £40. They both tell time but I can afford more. Some people rent cheap clowns for their kid's b'day, someone rents Rick Ross. Different strokes, deal with it!!

I had a friend who found out he would graduate with a 3rd class. rather than go home to face the wrath of his dad ( a lecturer ) he opted for an extra year to improve his grades. He didn't tell his dad he was in 3rd class oh just that he had a carry over. His dad wasn't happy but he finally got a 2.2 and all was well that ended well . You don't know how embarrassing it is to have a 3rd class agree till you start job hunting

That was a smart friend. I remember I used to say the same thing to people- I dont see the point of graduating with a third class. You might as well spend an extra year and boost your grades. There's nothing out there for a 3rd class student to rush out for

Most time men ARE intimidated by an educated woman! In all actuality I feel education has nothing to do with it- more about attitude, and most of us educated women do posses a particular attitude that can be misinterpreted by a lot of men ( especially the Nigerian man). Some feel that it is bi*chy but I myself will call it confident.
