I never liked Dbanj anyway! He has always been all noise. Now he's going the Shina Peters' way. |
I feel your pain! Everyone knows the situation in Jos is very complicated. Well, That's what you get when you have clueless and confused PDP Leaders at the helms of affairs. They know the right things to do but they won't because of their selfish interest. Though religious bigotry and tribal sentiments have become the order of the day, The decision to stop opponents from coming over to campaign in Jos was strictly political and nothing more. Are you trying to tell me there was no tension when Jang welcomed and played host to GEJ ?? . . . . probably the so- called muslim mob were out of town. Whatever happened down there was preventable but the ruling party needed to score a cheap point. There you have it, lives gone- doesn't matter to them anyway!! Keep watching while they keep playing "ludo" with your lives. ![]() |

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), on Monday, announced that it has impounded about 6.4kg of cocaine, worth over N64million, which was imported into the country by a drug syndicate at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. Hamza Umar, the Airport Commander of the NDLEA, said the drugs were packed in 16 flat parcels, and concealed in eight female handbags. Two people were arrested in connection with the drugs. “One of the suspects, Kolawole Olayinka, 38, arrived at the Lagos Airport from Brazil en-route Dubai in an Emirate flight with the drug in his luggage,” he said. “The second suspect, Ahmed Folarin, 37, a member of the cartel in the country who received Kolawole at the airport, was also nabbed. The content of the bag include female hand bags, shoes and blouses.” He said that both suspects arrested at the car park of the airport while attempting to smuggle the drug, adding that investigations into the case is ongoing. Ahmadu Giade, the Chief Executive of the NDLEA, in a statement, said that the success of the arrest was as a result of the red alert declared on the Nigerian-Brazil route. “This no doubt is a result of vigilance and meticulous search by the arresting officers following the red alert on the route,” he said. “It is not only impressive but also professional. The passenger that came in with the drug from Brazil and his Nigerian accomplice were nabbed in the process. Obviously, tough times await drug barons.” One of the suspects, Olayinka, in his statement, said that he is a single father to a 10-year-old girl, adding that he meddled into the trade after he was promised the sum of N1.5million by his contractors. “I am a poor orphan trying to survive the frustrations of life,” he said. “I was promised the sum of N1.5m to bring the bag from Brazil with the drugs. My intention was to assist my only daughter and my grandmother that took care of me. The bag was given to me in Brazil. They told me the parcels were only three, but upon my arrest, I was shocked to see 16 parcels. It was a plan for them to reduce my fee. I would not have settled for 1.5 million naira if I had known the actual quantity.” Last Friday, the NDLEA announced the arrest of two suspected drug traffickers at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport. According to Giade, one of the suspects was arrested while attempting to board a Turkish airline flight to Istanbul, Turkey, with 1.5kg of cocaine in his luggage. He said that the other suspect, who ingested 1.46kg of cocaine, was arrested on his way to Prague in Czech Republic on a Lufthansa flight. The NDLEA boss warned people who contemplate drug trafficking as a means of livelihood to consider the punishment awaiting them. “I have always maintained that crime is not a shortcut to success, rather it is a fast route to frustration, disappointment and pain,” he said. “On our part, we will not relent in enforcing the provisions of the law against culprits.” http://dailytimes.com.ng/article/ndlea-impounds-cocaine-worth-n64m-lagos |

I am not a supporter of the Saraki family but I'll still give kudos to Bukola. His infrastructural development in the state can not be matched with any past governors of the state. The only negative aspect of his administration is that he actually concentrated on the state capital. Gbemi ?? Just like Iyabo Obasanjo, She has always been the only politicianin the family besides the father. She's close to the grass-root and like someone mentioned here, you can actually chat her up facebook if you catch her online. Personally, I think it's high time Kwarans got rid of the strong old of that family which is going to be a really hard task! Just like OBJ, Adedibu, no man can test Olusola- only God can take them away when the time is right. |
They are all the same! They are either scamming, extorting, fornicating, touching kids, trafficking or performing false miracles! |

:Explosion heard at Nigeria Agip oil facility: Here they come! An explosion was heard at a Nigerian onshore oil flowstation operated by Agip in the Niger Delta on Wednesday, security sources said, but the cause was not immediately clear. A joint military task force confirmed there had been an explosion in Bayelsa state in the Niger Delta but did not specify the exact location. Italian oil firm Agip was not immediately available for comment. The explosion was heard in the early hours at Agip's Clough Creek oil flowstation in Bayelsa, one security source said. An email, saying it was sent by Nigeria's main militant group, warned on Monday of renewed attacks on Africa's biggest oil and gas industry but most of the recent damage caused to Nigeria's oil infrastructure has been from gangs stealing oil, rather than militant strikes. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5683607-146/explosion_heard_at_nigeria_agip_oil.csp |
