1025:
@baslone,
u need not just getting out of here but moving straight into a mental rehablitation home because what u are suffering from is called BRAIN FAILURE.
how many players do u have in england alone? how many are in the world that mikel is seen arround 188. give a nigerian this rating, only in nigeria, mikel will not be among the best 500 talkless of africa and the world.
if this rating according to u was done weekly, tell us abt the other weeks and not just one or two weeks because no player rises when he is out injured. if u are not decieving urself, why have u not mentioned this rating since this arguement started until mikel gets injured and was out of play?
wether mikel is playing for a small club or not, the good news is that he has done well for himself of which no one in your lineage has done better.
as wicked as u are, u can only see when mikel drop and u were blind throughout last season when he was the toast of everyone in english league.prophet of doom. do u see mikel in that samsung advert? he is called reliable.

liverpool did not play in the champions league last season, does it make them small club? sunderland and aston villa that u mentioned above have not been playing in the champions league since u were born, yet u recognise them as bigger clubs than chelsea so don't u think u are not thinking right?
my problem with anti progressives like u is that u talk from different parts of your body and u definitely will make more sense keeping quiet.
Just listen to yourself. grin grin grin grin grin

I have watched this Switch47 guy passionately hating on Chelsea for more than 3 years now, if the guy had applied the passion into something positive in his life I bet nobody can stand in his way to greatness. Unfortunately, he never see beyond hating Chelsea, and he remains on the same spot - posting their downfall every weekend

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Alex Song Vs John Mikel Obi by baslone: 9:38am On Feb 20, 2011
I wonder why you keep saying a "big team like Chelsea". I guess only
you understand your criteria for rating them. I hope you know Chelsea still
remains the 7th most successful club in England after the likes of Sunderland
and Aston Villa.

Presently, they are out of the F.A, Carling and ain't contenders for the EPL. Plus
you and I know they can never win the CL this season.

Bad enough, it's going to need another miracle to qualify for next season's CL which
makes them no different from the likes of the Boltons and Wigans. That is where they
have always belonged before the Morinho era. The truth is bitter but you have to swallow
it like that.

Back to the main topic of the thread. Castrol ranking does the rating of world players week in week
out. John Obi Mikel dropped from 183 best player in the world to 188 while Alex Song rose from
117 to 98. I don't know if that is an improvement for our own Mikel. If you want to keep deceiving
yourself, well the internet will not deceive others.

I'm out of this discussion

I find this thread so very coincidental. For some of us doubting if the story was true or not, just two weeks ago my childhood friend came to spend some time with me from Abuja, we got talking and she told me she sees Cele in Abj cos we all grew up in Kaduna b4 parting ways for our different vocation. I asked how he is and this pathetic story was what she told me that can I believe Cele lives in a rented apartment in ABJ despite all that money then. I didn't know it was this bad though but I guess there was no lie in what she told me. I sincerely hope that we all learn from their mistakes.
I heard a story similar to this but my source told me he saw him in a pub with some other ex-footballers!

HEY MR, U BEEN TALKING ALL DAY. WHAT HAPPENED IN THE FIRST LEG LAST YEAR. IAM SURE YOU WOULD SAY THAT ARSENAL STAGED A COME BACK. NO NO. BARCA IT WAS WHO TOOK THEIR FOOT OFF THE GAS. IN TEH FIRST 70 MINS IT COULD HAVE BEEN 5-0 ALREADY. WHERE U MISSING ANY KEY PLAYERS? NO! EVEN THEN WITH your COMPLETE TEAM U COULD ONLY DRAW AT YOUR BACKYARD WITH LESS THAN 35% POSSESSION YET U AND THAT ARSENE EVEN TALK ABOUT INJURIES!
It could be because it was played at the Emirates. I suppose they take the foot
off all the time. More reason why they have won just one of their last six away matches
in the Champions League!

I think the guy in question is severely deluded. N17,000? Lol. Even guys that earn N150,000/month still struggle to acquire the necessary 'logistics' for romance, and to satisfy 'ordinary' girlfriend's endless needs, let alone wife, let alone a guy that earns N17k. I wouldn't blame him though, guess he made the fatal mistake of taking the girl's 'sweet nothings' to heart and believing that she loved him unconditionally. My vast first and second hand experience in the battle-field of love/romance/relationships have led me to the unshakeable conclusion that at the end of the day, after all is said and done, NOTHING is more important than money - not charisma, not good intimacy, not looks, not personality, not communication, nothing. Absolutely nothing. That's the bitter truth. You'll always hear women running their mouths about how they like a guy with this or that quality, but ask them if they'll be with the guy long term, or even respect/love him totally if he were a broke backside, and their answer would be all too predictable. As a married friend of mine remarked over beer a few weeks ago: "it is better for your manliness to fail you than for your pocket to fail you; if your manliness fails you but your pocket remains rock solid, the women would never leave you - at worst they'll secretly sneak out to satisfy their sexual urges elsewhere and come back to you. But if your pocket fails you, the women would scornfully reject you and dump you without even looking back".

So poster, I'll advise the guy in question to get real. Women will be women, whether so-called 'born again', 'good girl' or the out-and-out street love-peddler, there's not too much of a difference - same principles apply, only in different dimensions. Forget that girl and focus on making money by any means necessary,no matter how long it takes you. A man never gets too old to marry even beauty queens, trust me. When your hustle pays you'd have the enviable task of selecting from an endless bevy of nubile beauties to populate your harem. First things first, I tell you. First things first.
