And btw I'm not an AC member. |

felix4real: If any nigerian company seeks to grow, it should stop thinking of how to portray other competitors as bad but rather how to make its products and services better than others (ask Globacom how it is beginning to move forward with it's MainOne fibre optic cable all the way from Europe while others are struggling with SAT3). Oh please don't get us started on that one. A lot of hogwash surrounds that particular project. You need to see how Globacom run their business then believe me you will shudder. Fact is many Nigerian businesses don't know how to stay on top let alone remain profitable. |

They refuse to accept the fact that they are also responsibile for the sad state of affairs in ND instead they foolishly trump the "we are the innocent victims" card. . . This attitude alone could be the biggest obstacle in achieving any lasting solution. |

naijalodge: Kosovo u are a real sony fanboy, maybe u own a ps3 or u just on sony side but let me tell u,if your comparing a ps3 to an xbox360 in tearms of graphics or games your definatelly deceiving urself because i was once a ps3 owner, bought the 60gb ps3 with backward compatibility.the main reason i bought it was actually because of GOD OF WAR 3,after about three weeks of use the game broke on me,took it to the repaire and they told me it was a panel fault because the game freezes.and the amout to get a replacemant for the panel is 20k i mean 20 thausand naira without removing anything.i went so crazy that i sold it for 15k i mean 15 thausand naira without even playing the GOD OF WAR 3 i bougth it for.so i went on reserch on both youtube, gamespot and almost all gamer forum seeking to know the best consel and model i should get.then God saved me by giving me a new xbox360 elite with a jarsper mother.2009 model with manufacture date being aug 31 2009. the xbox360 elite jarsper never get hot and can never rrod and it as cool as your refrigirator when running, finished so many games like GEARS OF WAR1 AND 2,HALLO 3,FORZA MOTOR SPORT 3,RESIDENT EVIL 5,DEVIL MAY CRY 4 AND MANY OTHERS WITHOUT GIVING IT ANY SIGHN OF SCRATCH,i even sold thos games i ended out as a new one.if u think am lying u can google xbox360 jarsper or go to youtube and check it out.the power brick is very portable and far smaller than the previous large bricks and also it uses 150w instead 230 the previous ones has been using so u see why it is cooled. Finally got it modded i mean flashed at alaba int market lagos for an expensive prize though but dosen't really matter,nw i can nw download xbox360 games 4rm piratebay.org myself and then burn in dual layer dvd disc which has saved me a whole lot of money.even beauty thing is that i get latest games there without waiting for it to get to nigeria befor buying an original expesive disc for a whole lot of money. Come to look at the ps3,lets lay u buy the consel fo 60k then u buy pro2010 for 13k,and God of war 3 for 15k,uncharted 1 and 2 for 12k each, grand theift auto iv for 10k,devil may cry 4 at 13k.calculate all the money together for both the consel and the disc for nothing less the 110k and yet u havent even started, wen their are alot of games u re still yet to buy and play both released and yet to be released,u see u are just investing all your money on only a video game, before u know it u have spent up tp 300k for buying disb in addition to the amout u bought.and the latest games you buy for 15k,i get them by just buying an ampty dual dvd disc, download, burn and play, THE EARLIER U REALIZE.your JUST THROWING your HARD EARNED MONEY ON SONY ALONE, What the heck! Mr Nigerian aka Naijalodge do you realise that your post is an open endorsement of piracy? You don't have to be a hardcore fan atic like Kosovo but to encourage the youths like that is . . . |

Politics › Re: Lagos State House Of Assembly Moves To Ban Okada - News by Bawss1(m): 1:10pm On Jun 14, 2010 |
All the cities that have effected the Okada ban do not witness the volume of traffic that Lagos does. Movement in Port Harcourt these days is quite a stressful task courtsey of endless traffic jams, roads are clogged with cars and buses because commuters have no other option; Abuja is not as densley populated as either P.H or Lagos so the Okada ban didn't have any effect there.
Okada riders are dangerous and reckless, many of them don't even know the basic rules of traffic but to ban them completely from the roads of Lagos will lead to an even worse traffic problem. There has to be an effective alternative first. Right now okada riders are a necessary evil. |

orgy: this is funny, one bedroon flat (mini flat) in lagos, (yaba, surlere, ebute-metta, etc ) goes for b/w 200k to 300k 2brm flat 350k to 550k 3brm flat 500k to 850k
These are moderate prices in moderate areas of lagos. I know of the prizes cos i just moved into one in ebute-metta ( after about months of searching) for 750k, and somebody is telling lagos is cheap hmmm, Very funny indeed. You should compare Abuja rent. The going rate for a one bedroom apartment is 650k. With that amount you can get a very comfortable 3 bedroom apartment in Port Harcourt and certain places in Lagos. Nah, for the most expensive city in Nigeria I think you should give it up for Abuja |

ekpezoo: 1.a fresh president no one ever thought of. Dude this far from the truth, the moment Yaradua left the country on account of his health, the next in line (GJ) must have started nursing thoughts of stepping in. ekpezoo: 2.a house of assembly who suddenly woke up to their responsibilities of making law not making money(even though they still make fat sums of money)that will impact the people. Ehh what house are you referring to? Its business as usual if you had the National House of Assembly. This talk of paying graduates 15k a month appears ill-conceived at best. ekpezoo: 3.the country is about to conduct a free and fair election for the first since june 12. plsk we niger i thinia should begin to confess the positive things we want to see happen to this our great country, remember 'as a man thinketh.' Can you say for certain that the next elections will be free and fair given the same participants with their do or die mindset. Again I say wake up. Running away from reality is just another folly. |
