Level 50/Wave 25 and I must say I am sorely disappointed – I unlocked the supposed sniper rifle of my game dreams the Barrett.50 Cal only to find that it is a shell of its former self. What was Infinity Ward thinking?! In real life a well placed shot from this gun in the engine block of a moving car will immobilize it.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barrett_M82) Back in MW2 5 shots will kill a juggernaut, in this game I almost exhausted my clip and the ‘naut was still standing! This is a design fail!

But not all my level 50 unlockings have been disappointing. The Air Care Perk - Sleight of Hand is nothing short of a shooter’s delight. Talk about trigger finger; the superhuman reloading speed that this feature adds means you practically have continuous firepower for as long as you have bullets. Imagine combining this feature with Extreme Conditioning another Air Care Perk and you have the super soldier alas only one perk is allowed at a time.

Guess who ranked up to General now? Yes yes, you know the drill - salute me cool

You know I think V3 is right, the games should be graded according to specific categories.

For me
FPS - MW3
Role Playing - Uncharted 3
Sports - FIFA 12

Can you provide facts to support your assertions; maybe it will make sense. Not sure why Google will want to kill local businesses, according to you.

Google's main business is Search and this is one attempt to ensure more businesses and consumers are using the web. Nigeria provides a unique opportunity for online business to thrive - very young demographic and huge population. Also online usage continues to grow every year. Makes sense for Google or other business to have a presence in this huge market.

In terms of impact on Nigerian web designers; well the web is rapidly evolving and people need to adapt. Right now, any small business owner can set up a web presence for less than $150 without a web designer. You can build your own website in couple of hours and start promoting your business. So web designers should think about doing web marketing and strategic planning or focus on contract work with big corporations. There's huge career/business opportunities in the digital and online space than simply designing websites.

Overall, this Google move can be a huge benefit for small business owners if people see the bigger picture. In fact, any small business owner without a website is Leaving money on the table for competitors.

I enjoy malt drinks because they are an inexpensive alternative to other soft drinks.

^Some will say same about P.H.

Anyone who goes around Ada George road in P.H will think that the state is without leadership but is that really true? A lot of work still needs to be done to make Lagos and P.H really decent places but one cannot also deny the efforts of their governors, Fashola and Amaechi. No need to fuel the hate.

Stop all this bad belle, people.

In China, Google had issues simply because the Chinese government realized the dominance of google will make it impossible for her citizens(local businesses) to compete.
Not correct. Google had issues with the Chinese government over censorship. The Chinese government wanted Google to censor content in the local version of it's search engine.

I wonder why google is doing this anyways. I wanted to create a website recently and the web designer I consulted insisted I use a .com.ng address system. I asked him why and all he could say was it´s what google wants for Nigeria. I insisted he register my address as .com, because I know from the little experience I have with web address system that .com.ng is a subdomain (a child domain) of .com address. I don´t care what google wants for Nigeria, I care about what I want for myself. If Nigerian google clients decides to deal with google, they can do it. google can´t just come around and steal the market from the likes of tradestable, nairalist and the rest without them fighting back? but then, this is Nigeria. I am sure some people are making money from this venture already and they will fight for google to remain in business in Nigeria. don´t forget, opportunity abounds in Nigeria, and each time these foreigners come, they exploit us to the fullest. remember MTN, Econet, etc, The profit MTN declares p.a in Nigeria is more than any profit declared by several countries the rest of the world combined.
let´s watch it, wait and see, huh
So how does this translate into Google killing your business?

People just like to talk even when they have no real understanding of the matter at hand.
Family › Re: Is It Okay For My Husband To Live With My Younger Sister? by Bawss1(m): 2:40pm On Dec 09, 2011
In this world certain boundaries and rules have to be established to foster peace. The OP's husband probably doesn't understand this and so sees his wife suggestion (which is really the right thing) as uncalled for. The younger sister should move out.

Wave 24 finally! Didn’t last long here though; heavily armed troops in robot looking vests, attack dogs strapped with C4 and multiple helicopters ensured my short stay here. I set up a sentry gun which was taken offline by the hostiles in no time. This stage is brutal. I didn’t even have time to request Air support from the Riot shield squad which I had gotten. Next time I’ll start with the riot shield and sentry gun first. Meanwhile salute your Colonel II.  cool

The US Senate is seeking to repeal a law that bans sodomy. Some of the senators failed to read the part where bestiality was included (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/sen-lindsey-graham-says-he-didnt-know-defense-bill-he-approved-lifts-military-ban)

Now many Nairalanders will jump for joy as this is the kind of news that they live for.SMH

this article has no meaning to me no offense, but you are free to air your opinion
I thought I was the only one that noticed something was amiss here. Nowhere in the article is it stated how Google is killing Nigerian online business. So Google extends its services into the Nigerian market and our local businesses are scared? Till someone can show how Google is stopping local online businesses from making money then all this is just unreasonable FUD.

BTW I think local online business is a misnomer, how can you really be online and local at the same time?
Politics › Re: Joint Task Force And Ex-MEND Militants Clash In Lokoja. by Bawss1(m): 12:03pm On Dec 09, 2011
If we are serious about establishing a government that respects its citizens then the rights of everyone (as stated in the constitution) must be respected, including these ex-militants. . . It is the politically correct thing to do when we do not refer to these ex militants as hoodlums or touts but personally one can only see that whatever treatment is meted out to them by the government is well deserved. Time was when they got away with kidnappings and murder all in the name of fighting for their rights.

6,000 militants in a gun fight with the police? That's the problem I have with Sahara Reporters, their stories are not without embellishments. And with dubious reporting nothing lasting can be achieved. Now the pro GEJ/PDP team will use this to their advantage as it is expected.

Wait till i sink my teeth into it!

My record on MW2 was impeccable cool cool
Oh yeah? How many stars were you able to get in MW2. I managed 49 out of 69. I finished all the missions on Veteran – well almost all, how any living human being can finish the Echo missions on Hardened let alone Veteran is beyond me. I wish there was a way to put up screen shots of my record from my PS3 though. An example of my feat; In The Alpha mission, O Cristo Rendentor, Infinity Ward’s best time for completing the mission is 1min, 13secs (I suspect that since they are the developers they did that with cheats or something because again that is another impossible achievement!) I completed it in 1m 49 secs. How cool is that. cool

Can't figure out what song or game you are humming there.

My favorite game song isn't the game's theme song but actually the track played in the Uchiha Hideout in Naruto Shippuden Ninja Storm 2. There's something about that track that gets me. But in keeping with this thread I think the Uncharted 2 theme song is great.

^They relocated. The place was becoming cramped and noisy. All sorts of things besides cooking were going on behind the kitchen doors. shocked I personally started to question the hygienic condition of the food making process there - my biggest fear was in contracting an infection that is normally transmitted under the sheets after eating a meal!!! shocked Then there was the occasional fights not to mention the delays in serving customers their meals. That place was great though but hopefully this place will be better. smiley
