jason123:Which word is "Odajuma?" Is it a word? Lol! Counterfeit NDians sha! Lol! "Shut up" (and its variations) has been alj harams favourite phrase this week. Interesting to see you fall into the same habit, not just that but also, lying as freely as alj haram. Hmmm! Oya, settle the matter. What is the name of your village? ![]() You are telling me that you could have told me Warri was your village. Funny shiit! Thats like someone saying Lagos is their village and thinking they don't sound ridiculous. Dude, you are not from Delta state, cos you cannot even name a village you come from (aside from Ijaw ones). What do you gain by telling these lies and fat old porkies, bruv? Dude, let me help you with a village. Instead of coming from OgbeIjaw, why not claim to be the first Itsekiri man to hail from Okorenkoko in Gbaramatu Kingdom? www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
^ We know the drill, bruv. ![]() @topic For the records, Jason123 is just another version of alj haram. He is a counterfeit Niger Deltan and a fake Itsekiri. Imagine being asked his village, only to respond with an Ijaw village!!! NL, make unu come see e! Has anybody ever seen an Itsekiri man that comes from an Ijaw village? Damn! |
So this thread is still alive? Edo is SS. Up SE/SS! Its a great alliance that will endure forever. |
morpheus24:I'll be darned if they even knew the meaning of the word, "communist." We just have some weed inspired freaks like crap 28 running loose. |
madprof:Unfortunately, our police have proven to untrustworthy in the boko haram battle and have now been relegated to the background in investigations (in short, it looks like they are actively being kept far away from investigations). The army can never be a replacement for the police. They are trained to kill, not investigate. The only long term alternative is to totally dismantle the police force and rebuild it from scratch to international standards. It will take years. |
The only reason ACF is asking for security for the vermin called boko haram is because, core-Northern topshots are involved. |

Now mobinga is dead already, we need you alive here bros to keep our numbers from dimishing. I am a sphaggetti expert with PHP / But i wont mind if it can fade away due to HTML 5 sha - that will make life much more easier for me really - and for the hackers. Then, we will be dealing with HTML Injections rather than XSS / SQL, I mean HTML can now connect directly to database via html5->query('select mobinga from dustbin where killer='Beaf' ');
Unu no go take laf bend pikin waist o! ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
delomos:Nah, I'm referring to the whole of PHP. It really isn't a structured language like C#, Java etc, cos it started out as a perl hack and has never really had formal structure to its development (which has always been reactive). The bolded part of your post captures the essence of any argument against PHP (the exact same goes for Classic ASP). PHP is neither strongly typed, nor does the language have an underlying philosophy (aside from ease of use), again, that it the exact opposite of languages like C# and Java that were purposely built to plans with specific goals. The above said, PHP's saving grace might come from the likes of facebook (or facebook might come up with a fork or brand new language). |
Mobinga:Shuuuuuu, see long story! ![]() So aside from not knowing what a cookie is, na jealousy be your real problem? Why not take up this offer that is very very suited to an alcohol motivated cretin like your kind self? By the way, a couple of friends are looking for a place to store yams, stones, rocks, nails, iron rods, sand and cement. Since your head is vacant, can I rent the space? Easy cash na!LOLZZZZ! Dude, sit and learn quietly if you don't want me to rent your head to store yams. Also, don't forget the IQ test, there is no dodging it; but since you've found it too tough, I have now greatly simplified it to a single question. Here goes: Mobrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrringa, what is a cookie? https://i.imgur.com/UPBvj.gif
The more I see other cars front end, the more I worry for McLaren!!! Is Macca missing something here?
They've taken a risk that will either pay off real big or see them fighting for position with Virgin and Marutsia. Lol! I've been doing some technical reading on Macca though, and it seems they've got some pretty neat tricks up their sleeves with the design. They and Mercedes are rumoured to have an interlinked suspension (for active ride height maintainance); an interlinked suspension balances the cars ride height and weight distribution during breaking and acceleration. Such a system would directly complement a very low nose (check the image below) and direct-wheel blowing - which is considered to have greater pay-off than diffuser blowing, but is more erratic. If Macca have tamed that beast and the gameplan is direct-wheel blowing, we could see outright domination (and cries of fowl-play). Another team to watch out for is Mercedes. lagerwhenindoubt:Whatever. It is no excuse to be loose lipped, such thoughtless crap is becoming a bit of a trend these days. Why would a grown up make stories up, or not reason thoroughly before speaking? @topic Here's what they hate about Wole Soyinka. He is a brave man who has resoundingly proven himself and has the ears of the masses: That is because I do not claim to know the exact answer, but a man who was certain he knew the answer was Prof Wole Soyinka, a man often fond of pouring kerosene into a blazing flame. Speaking to a South African newspaper late last week, he said “both religious and political forces were driving the insurgency by the Islamist sect Boko Haram.”http://www.iol.co.za/the-star/nigerian-nobel-laureate-boko-haram-unleashed-by-northern-politicians-1.1226526 The boko harams might feel that such forthright truths from a man as erudite and respected as Wole Soyinka are a bit too much. |
"#Occupy" or hypocrisy? I pity the fool's that were used and am really sad that lives were lost. Lives lost for what? See what the bastar'd El Rufai that organised it has to say? ![]() |
noblezone:Exactly! These days, its a pride to emit anything crude and crass. @topic Boko haram is as desperate as Wole Soyinka makes them out to be, its all about free oil money:
He said: “The reason for this programme (elimination) which I know is very much their third phase, is that those pushing this agenda know very well that this could be the last straw that will break the camel’s back. And they would rather this country broke up and possibly in an inferno than continue to accept the loss, even though temporal loss of power in this country. For these people, government is the only business around.”
Bullseye, sir! ![]() |
lagerwhenindoubt:It is hard to understand why any grown up would make such a despicable and evil statement. You might deslike GEJ, but don't let that drag you into the gutter. We all have brains, lets learn to use them. Disgusting. |
Mr abolo or whatever you call yourself. Just make sure you guys do not disgrace the Urhobo name with some misguided "militancy." Boko haram gas failed and nobody is expecting anybody in Delta state to be paid to sell their own. |
I finally now remember what it was i did with the IE userdata now. I made an application that runs in the browser (2004/2005) like Notepad for storing data on the PC temporarily especially in cyber cafes. So the application runs inside web browser and allows you to store data and retrieve once u ave opened it - and it does not need internet to do that. That ERA almost all cybercafes in my area use IE. In fact, i use IE for testing my codes and all that. It was IE and CrazyBrowser for me back then. Aye, i remember another one - the version of .net then (formerly dhtmlonline.com) has an extensive cache system that allows it to load all contents required in the background via ajax and displays them on clicking without requiring internet connection to navigate the pages. But the new HTML5 makes all those things easier. . . The other applications i made using similar technologies, i cannot remember at the moment. That was just a diversion, oya, mobinga, come back here and give us more facts.
Facts ke!! ![]() You just wanna feather the poor chicken. I wanna bet that both Red Bull and Mercedes will be the only other teams outside McLaren to feature good looking, smooth nosed cars. The Red Bull launch is later today, so not long to wait. I pray that Drian Newey too doesn't travel the ugly route. |
Im for any policy and action that will wipe boko out of existence, permanently. . . . never to be resurrected as a new group in 3 orr 4 yrs from now. However, the topic asks the wrong question!
What question? The topic does not ask any question, except you wish to go challenge Mr Geoffrey Anyanwu in Awka, he wrote the article for the Sun. I'm getting tired of daft responses on NL, especially from boko haram fans like you. @topic GEJ should maintain the heat on boko harams arse; abu qaqa today and you never know who tomorrow. |
AIY condemns ACF over statement … Calls on Igbos, Christians to be alert From GEOFFREY ANYANWU, Awka Monday, February 06, 2012 The demand by the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) for a commitment from the Federal Government to guarantee the security of Boko Haram leaders for them to dialogue has been described as vexatious and insulting. ACF had, in a press statement signed by Alhaji Aliko Mohammed and Mr. Anthony N. Z. Sani, its chairman, NEC and national publicity secretary respectively, stated among other things that, “the Federal Government should commit itself openly and unambiguously in guaranteeing the security of leaders of Boko Haram when eventually they come out for dialogue promised by the president.” But the Alliance of Igbo Youths (AIY) which yesterday reviewed the state of the nation and the press statement of the ACF said though the Forum’s statement was equally disappointing, it had however made the search for the sponsors and powers behind the terrorist group easier. Addressing newsmen shortly after its meeting in Awka, AIY’s Emeka Moneme and Johnbosco Muozoba, secretary and chairman respectively said it was necessary to remind the ACF that those they were seeking protection for had committed series of heinous crimes. The statement which was read by Moneme reads in part: “We view with total disappointment, the vexatious and provocative press statement attributed to the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) and published in a number of some national dailies demanding among other things, commitment from the Federal Government to guarantee the security of Boko Haram leaders. “Do we need to remind the ACF that these Boko Haram leaders had committed, and boldly claimed responsibility for series of heinous crimes against humanity which included the Christmas Day bombing of Christian worshippers inside their place of worship at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Madalla that killed over 44 innocent, defenseless men, women and children as well as systematic massacre of Christians and Igbos across northern Nigeria? “The current campaign by the ACF to shield bandits and terrorists parading as Boko Haram from facing the consequences of their actions raises a number of curious questions. Do we need to search further for the sponsors and powerhouse behind the Boko Haram sect? Is the Boko Haram agenda same as the much touted Northern Political and Religious agenda? “Why was it impossible for ACF to commit northern governors, emirs, imams and northern elders to guarantee the security of Christians and Igbos in the North as the so called Boko Haram sect freely carried out their programme of exterminating Christians and Igbos? “The reference by ACF to the UN resolution 1963 of 2010 is pathetic, as the premeditated, unprovoked attack and systematic killing of innocent, defenseless men, women and children because of their religious beliefs and tribal origin cannot be described as civil unrest or social conflict. It is called genocide.” AIY described the claim by ACF that more Muslims were targeted victims of Boko Haram assault as not only an afterthought but mischievous, questioning how many mosques or Muslim gatherings were bombed or attacked by Boko Haram. It further asked, “If the Boko Haram agenda is to correct the mistake of 1914 and Islamize northern Nigeria as they claimed, why didn’t they engage the Federal Government to convene a Sovereign National Conference?” http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/news/national/2012/feb/06/national-06-02-2012-014.html |
The so called aid money is a phucking bribe to corrupt leaders to sell their people. Bullshit. ![]() People need to see some of the demeaning adverts running in the Western press about poverty in "Africa." God punish all of them. |
vladimiros:Thats what I'm talking about, bruv. There is no serious party outside the PDP (weaknesses and all). Nobody is going to vote for a party that they feel would only serve a sectional or ethnic interest; PDP is the only party whose umbrella shelters all. Other parties have a lot of work to do to evoke a national aura, but all they seem good at is spreading false rumours and stoking flames. |
vladimiros:Choi! Olorun ma je! After the youth corpers? As far as I am concerned, CPC is one of the worst things to have risen out of the soil. Better to have ANPP, APGA, Labour or DPP. |
I'll ask a simple question: What is the alternative to voting PDP? A fairytale? Fantasy? Everywhere you look Nigeria, there are mushroom parties built on ethnicity and mushroom thinking, all hurdled in ugly bigotted enclaves. It is fair to say that there is only one mature party in Nigeria today, that is the PDP. The rest are just ethnic champs, that are even more corrupt than the PDP. |
delomos:You are right about HTML5 being a totally different ball game from the server side languages. However the rich-client HTML5 is a game changer, especially as its not a 3rd party technology like Silverlight and Flash that require proprietry pluggins. Already, both traditional rich client technologies are beginning to feel some heat with Flash being rendered obsolete and Silverlight relegated to the cobwebs by MS. More than the above, the importance of "apps" has risen dramatically with the pervasiveness of smart phones and tablets. A trend that is only going to accelerate dramatically when Windows 8 ships; because its touchscreen is based on HTML5/JavaScript, as will its apps. HTML5 is still far from a standard, but it is not difficult to see the future of rich internet experiences that will be driven natively by it. All a server language would need do is generate HTML5. The role of the current server languages will have to change to meet the new reality with presentation based, spaghetti type languages like PHP and Classic ASP being first to die out. They will be replaced by better designed languages that do not pretend to do interface stuff like Java, C#, Ruby, Python etc. |
jude33084:People like him are usually cowards who are happy to send others to die. Don't forget that Bin Laden sheilded himself with a woman who had to be shot in the leg before they got him. |

seal777:Comedy! ![]() My broda, to put it in pidgeon English: grant and dash na di same tin. |
Grey Beard:Lolzzz! You've made the same mistake as many others. Those 3 calls are the function being tested 3 separate times; there are three distinct arrays to test against, each puts the pattern in a different place to catch any mago-mago coding! ![]() All code must get the 3 answers correct. |
candylips:Why not not, bruv? Lets see a different approach, which language are you gonna write in? I've not been able to take up functional programming despite promising to learn Elang and F# since it became public years ago. ![]() How is you functional language journey? |
delomos:There are quite a few functions that HTML5 will have out of the box that will slowly begin to eat into the space of weaker web frameworks like Classic ASP and PHP. There are things like video (with the access to pixels for manipulation), SQL local storage that can be accessed offline (as we are discussing on this thread), form validation etc. HTML5 is going to change the way apps are written in the next few years. IMHO, local storage and video are the killer apps. Check these links on pixel manipulation: http://beej.us/blog/2010/02/html5s/ (this is part I) http://beej.us/blog/2010/02/html5s-canvas-part-ii-pixel-manipulation/ (this is part II) |

There has always been some form of local storage in HTML from time o jare (it has just gotten better with HTML 5). And when i said arrays, i could pass a serialized array from the server to javascript in form of json-encoded data - and i can store this into the local HTML cache (not HTML 5). BTW, i was talking of what is called "IE userdata". In order to forestall further arguments - please see this thread o jare - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7328126/html4-or-anything-pre-html5-offline-storage-what-how @mobinga, take it easy o jare - i was probably lookin at a chic while typing my post. - Feliz domingo y hasta la vista amigos (happy sunday and until we see again amigos)
Lol! Thanks bruv, IE userdata is a non-standard cookie implemented by Microsoft since IE5 (many devs call it a super cookie or XML cookie). I guess that sad thng, Mobinga's gonna faint now. |
