^ Lol! You go fear fear!
Err. Have you read either of those two books I mentioned? Go to your library, pick up a copy and you can type up the #s from the chart yourself. Neither groundnut nor palm oil were as economically important.
Dude, there is no place for sentiment where truth is concerned. I don't see why history is being revised: The Colonial Contest for the Nigerian Region 1884–1900: A history of German participation, by Olayemi Akinwumi. Hamburg: LIT Verlag, Geschichte Band 43, 2002. 122 pp. €17.90 (paperback). ISBN 3-8258-6197 www.nairaland.com/attachments/325427_RoyalNigerCompany_gif09db473c05cd021e855c2fca46af01d2 |
For the ignorant, Nigeria used to be the Royal Niger Company whose major trade item was PALM OIL. Palm oil is the reason for the existence of Nigeria and it was sourced from the SE/SS. |
Cocoa was far more economically relevant than palm oil and rubber.
Wetin pesin no go hear for NL? History being rewritten! https://i.imgur.com/UPBvj.gif |
Can we just change the title to; "Lazy governors seek bigger, fatter AWUF?" Dis Nigeria no go wound pesin o! https://i.imgur.com/UPBvj.gif |
A: Yes, I gave them many bomb factories even in the southern and eastern states and seven in Kaduna State, Plateau State and Abuja. It was in the Niger State bomb factory that we manufactured the improvised explosive devices that was used to operate in Abuja on October 1, 2010.http://naijajive.com/index.php?topic=1681.0 IBB = Idependence Bomb Blast! |
A: They are many, but IBB is the major financier. He introduced the suicide bombing that started when he killed Dele Giwa. I have the names of six traditional rulers and seven present & ex-Governors as well as several top military and security officers who are co-sponsoring the so called Boko Haram. That apart, I have documented evidences to prove that General Mohammadu Buhari, Alhaji Abubaka Atiku and other top politicians and traditional rulers are some of the people behind Boko Haram. Very soon, nemesis will catch up with them. |
sheyguy:No history abot tin this time? Really? So what if I am not Igbo? And that is the same as maybe 80-90% of Delta state peeps that post here. Maybe to you Oshiomole too is Igbo, even though he effortlessly swings into the SE/SS common position (eg fuel subsidy) when called upon. There is a level of arrogance we find offputting; anyway, you wen de take tin soak garri no go understand, na coded talk be dat. |
xwolverine:Shouldn't you be more worried about your own governors that for 51 years have relied on an official almajiri system? Why is your state a net absorber of revenue, rather than a generator? The answer to that question would deeply embarrass any one witha glimmer of morality. I am much more worried for those whose sense of innovation and productivity have been denuded to nothingness from feeding fat on a region of the country. Unfortunately for una, dat region don tire. If you are jealous of boyloaf for his being sent to inspect training facilities for militants; then feel free to become a militant for tin, cocao, rubber, oil palm etc. Simply occupy your own resources, make your own money and keep your eyes to yourself. Dude, join the call for true federalism. Asking to end corruption is a fallacy when the country's economy is exploitative, or how do you exploit people transparently? |
sheyguy:At last, the parasite that is your soul reveals itself in all its ugly nak'edness! Lol! Need I say more? |
alj harem:With all this "loveliness," why do you think the old Bendel is tilting more to the SE as natural allies? |
^ Unfortunately for you, nobody can recall tin ever feeding Nigeria. You no how to lie shamelessly sha. ![]() However, lies can never justify the exploitation of the ND. |
^ Someone id dreaming that boko haram who have zero economic assets to offer, will be given amnesty. Dream on, bruv. You can only make money from militancy if you can the parasites straw to the oil wells, then they will do anything to listen to your concerns. Boko haram will only earn you MOSSAD, CIA and MI5. alj harem:Of course, you do not see the conflicts between the bolded sentences. Anyways, let everyone occupy their own shiit and stop perching on others like vultures, to the extent that when those perched on take up arms, the parasites see them as criminals. |
At that time, rubber and oil palm were also developing Nigeria; along with cotton and groundnuts. And guess what? Then the derivation was 50%, not 13% as it is today. So, who is getting cheated? The simple solution to the problem is to call for true federalism. Under true federalism, the disgraceful monthly trips to Abuja will cease in place of real productivity. I am quite sure the oil producing states would not mind bankrolling a fixed calendar and its modalities for fiscal Independence for all federating units. |
alj harem:Yes o! That is what will make all Nigerians equal and happy. If you have cocoa, occupy it. If na groundnuts you get, occupy am. Rubber nko, feel free to occupy. Do you have cotton or oil palm? Its your God given right to occupy them. If you be hunter sef, den occupy your animals. Nutin do you. . . .But what you must do, is stop occupying oil if you ain't from the ND, SE/SS. ![]() |
@sheyguy You have asked pretty ignorant and profoundly daft questions spiced with incredible lies, such as tin ever feeding the country. Thats your problem though. The reality on the ground right now is that you are a parasite, it is even worse that you are one without a conscience. Tin? LOLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!! Demdem:Nah, I brought up Sahara Reporters, simply because they make up stories just like you did with the "numerous killings" thing. Sahara Reporters is unrivalled for such stuff. |
Is this thread worth revisiting?
Oga, if you recall, you strongly objected to its spirit when it was started. So, you should be in a better position to tell if we need to revisit. I am hoping that your opinions and positions have moved a lot since. |
Demdem:You accused Boyloaf of numerous killings. Firstly, the word numerous means "very many", "po ju." Now your response to the challenge to prove your claim has turned out as weak as Sahara Reporters and their fake news. . . All made up to suit unspoken sentiments. Welcome to Sahara Reporters hall of shame: ![]() http://saharareporters.com/photo/photonews-jonathans-declaration-when-jonathan-women-met-goodluck-men www.nairaland.com/attachments/324341_SaharaReportersFakePicture_jpg69a0b6e4ad1c8831fa731bd73bb022d2 |
^ What are these numerous killings? Abi you don turn to Sahara Reporters with fake news? |
^ When our nation put itself in the position it now is, was it good for our image? Is it good for our image that we cannot produce fuckall outside selling oil and maltreating those from whose earth it is derived? Your argument is thoroughly illogical. PointB:Exactly! Some people think that others were born to be exploited and have no right to fight back. |
brainpulse:Who cares for what a weak minded parasite thinks? People like you sit back to condemn those from the ND, while you are too phucking lazy and shameless to tap the resources from your own area. So, you scream loudly about boyloaf, isn't it funny how you cannot a freedom fighter/militant for cocoa, groundnuts, rubber, cotton, oil palm or whatever? Doesn't it simply scream one phrase, "hateful PARASITE?" Stop dumping on the ND or SS, because they are minorities and they look like an easy target. It only shows you up as weak. |
brainpulse:Then go and become a freedom fighter/militant for cocoa, groundnuts, rubber, cotton, oil palm or whatever. Stop being jealous of those who fought for the rights of those you exploit. Bitterness no de pay. ![]() |
Why is anybody calling Boyloaf a criminal, when all he did was fight for the rights of the ND person? The real criminals are the ones who see the ND as their meal ticket to be exploited and rap'ed; those who do not question their state and LG bosses about why their areas cannot function without awuf oil money. Start producing something in your area and stop being jealous of boyloaf who picked up an AK to fight for his rights and those of his community. |
doctokwus:NTA has always been a govt mouthpiece. No be today. ![]() He who pays the piper, plays the tune. Its the unfortunate truth about govt media houses across the Globe; NTA is not a private organisation, it belongs to the federal govt and the FG can do with it as it pleases. By the way, NTA is not funded by tax payers, it is funded by oil (as is 90% of everything FG). Tax payers do not fund anything in Nigeria; simply put, you have NO stake in the NTA; this is the more reason we should demand true federalism, because it guarantees representation of the citizen at all levels. @topic As for Sahara Reporters, I can reach their website, but it looks phucked. I would be quite happy if the entire Sahara Reporters fell through a hole and sank forever. It is the most worthless piece of shiit to have hit our news stands. There is far more credible oppostion news from agencies like The Nation. Glorified area boys without morals, scruples or standards should not be allowed to use websites to preach falsehoods as blackmail to make a buck. Phuck Sahara Reporters. A picture speaks a thousand words: Sahara Reporters is best known for fake news these days. ![]() The fake pic below too is courtesy Sahara Reporters. Shame. http://saharareporters.com/photo/photonews-jonathans-declaration-when-jonathan-women-met-goodluck-men www.nairaland.com/attachments/324341_SaharaReportersFakePicture_jpg69a0b6e4ad1c8831fa731bd73bb022d2 |
The argument I'm getting is that all militant groups should be catered for; Urhobo, Isoko, Ijaw, Itsekiri, Ikwere etc. Its a fair argument. In more civilised climes, an amnesty package would have included absorbtion into the military, but in Nigeria we prefer to keep the ex-militants peppersouping in Abuja, so long as the oil keeps flowing. It is peace, but a dangerous peace. Let us observe that the reasons for their insurrection have not yet been met and assuaged. It is best to complete the amnesty by offering real military posts to the militants who have already displayed mastery of amphibious and assymetric warfare. |
I wonder who is worse between alj haram and sheyguy? How can people be so vehemently loud in their unintelligent and immoral arguments? Damn! |
nakedall:I'm getting you some IQ instead, cos you desperately need it. |
Ex-Gov Sylva, Aides On The Run Published on February 1, 2012 by Speculations are rife in Yenagoa that Timipre Sylva, former Governor of Bayelsa State has fled the country to evade arrest by security agencies. He lost his immunity after he and four other state governors were sacked last week by the Supreme Court. P.M.NEWS gathered from various sources in Yenagoa that the former governor and his wife fled through Akwa Ibom through Cameroun to South Africa. Sylva was said to be under security watch before he escaped. P.M.NEWS also gathered that the Senior Special Adviser on Security to Sylva, Chief Prekeme Richard Kpodoh who was in charge of the defunct notorious security outfit, Famou Tangbe accused of extra-judicial killings, has escaped to Dubai. Civil Society Organisations and families of the deceased had filed several petitions against Sylva’s administration on abuse of human rights. Other former aides of the fleeing governor are also said to be on the run. They include: former Special Adviser Youth Affairs, Israel Igoli,f ormer Chief of Staff, Samuel Ogbuku, and others. Our source who bumped into Kpodoh in an elevator in Dubai on Tuesday 31 January, said: “he was shocked to see me. He probably never expected to see someone like me in Dubai”. Our contacts further revealed that Kpodoh may have fled the country by going through any of Nigeria’s porous borders but flew by Kenyan Airways to Dubai. Although Kpodoh’s destination is unclear, there is the suspicion that he may be heading to India or any of the Asian countries. Meanwhile, the Acting Governor has directed all political appointees to vacate all government guest houses within 48 hours. Thursday is the expiration of the deadline. —Okafor Ofiebor/Port Harcourt http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/02/01/ex-gov-syliva-aides-on-the-run/ |
BetaThings: What are you ranting about, "Edwin Clark," "Dokpesi" for? What bearing do they have on the current thread if not petty straw clutching and mischievous falsehood? The whole thing just sounds wildly loopy and when you add the amount of stuff bolded and in red, it is not difficult to picture someone pump'n his keyboard with vehemence, vitriol and near vandalism. Calm down, sir. Dude, you see the proof that you people are dangerously bitter? |
@BetaThings Dude, calm down. You are sounding even more bitter than I imagined you were. ![]() Politics of bitterness makes fingers point. Seen? Straighten up, be mature, stop spreading falsehoods and wishing bad on Nigeria, just because you lost elections. Do that and see if anyone will continue to accuse your camp. Its simple as ABC. ![]() You people are dangerously bitter people who threatened to make the nation ungovernable, so I won't be surprised to find that boko haram facilitators swell your ranks. |
I'm hearing echoes that Abu qaqa is an Igala man from Kogi state. |
BetaThings:Face your front and stop chatting shiit. You people are so petty and bitter. What if Abu qaqa turns out to be Buhari, wetin you go do? Hang yourself or what? Nobody told those grownups to threaten to make the nation ungovernable the way they did; they aint kids. I will not be surprised if Buhari, Atiku, Ciroma, Kaita, Tunde Bakare etc are boko haram members, sponsors or facilitators. They are all evangelists of violence and politics of bitterness; birds of the same feather flock together. |
Mobinga:Its wrong to talk for the sake of it, sir. Do you know anything about the website *dhtml is talking about, how much data there was, in what format it was saved, the size of the website etc? Or are you just emitting gas as usual? In the pre-HTML5 World, cookies were the only clientside storage mechanism available to the developer, browser cache doesn't qualify. Do you know of any other clienstide storage mechanism *dhtml could have used? Please take your crap to people at your level. Thank you. |
