Politics › Re: Is Oshiomole Bankrupting Edo State? by Beaf: 10:18pm On Feb 15, 2012
As far as I am concerned, Osiomole is a very good governor who is doing well for Edo state.

That said, I am appalled at the level of discussion here (if one may dignify it with such a term). Everyone seems to be in a competition to sound more primitively insulting than the last person, few seem able to gain a logical grasp of issues. Most agbero's would be heartened to contribute to such a "discussion."
The way some of our so-called educated folk behave is a real pity and deeply unfortunate.
Politics › Re: Video Of How A Bomb Killed Sgt Badang In Ungwar Sarki Kaduna by Beaf: 9:51pm On Feb 15, 2012
What a sad waste of life, may the soul of Police Sergeant Sunday Badang rest in peace. embarassed
A brave man squandered.

Unfortunately, nothing can be ruled out after witnessing such a strange scene. It isn't impossible that the man either had poor training, or was on drugs or a boko haram member himself. Several things do not add up.
IMHO, the entire police force needs to be scrapped, and that video is evidence.

Police forces the World over are highly disciplined, highly procedural and highly trained. What do we have in Nigeria instead? A pack of baboons. Many have asked why the place wasn't fenced off or the man in protective gear of any sort.
The simple answers are that our police force (like the rest of our society) is "anything goes." Patch it up as you go along, ignore the real disease and keep smiling; it the way we operate; no laws, no process, its like a jungle.
I wouldn't be shocked to learn that there were massive budgets for bomb disposal training and kits, but "oga IG and his boys chop di money."

Nigeria is the very definition of the word, chaos. Sadly, chaos is a feral foe and those who battle it soon realise its terrifying ferocity; it is a battle in which men unknowingly attack themselves with gallant bravery, a battle in which only the four-eyed can distinguish friend from foe and fiend from ally.
We have a very long way to go, but we will get there, step by little step.
Politics › Re: Boko Haram: Sss Declares Ex-soldier Wanted by Beaf: 6:45pm On Feb 15, 2012
13volts:
From Kabiru Sokoto to Habib Bama Very soon SSS will declare Aminu Kano wanted.
Do you regret that boko haram is being dismantled? embarassed
We should be applauding the SSS and anybody involved should be arrested or shot. Thanks to the efforts of the SSS, it is now clear to all that boko haram is not a made off a bunch of stone throwing illiterates; indeed, both Kabiru Sokoto and Abu qaqa are graduates,
It isn't even a Islamic thing, because many of the more than 30 arrested as a result of the captpure of qaqa and Sokoto have been found not to be able to quote the Koran and to have a very poor grasp of the religion.

It is high time the covert support for boko haram from people like yourselves came to an end. They are a pack of cold blooded murderers who are being routed and destroyed.
Politics › Re: Ig`s Directive On Road How Is The Compliance Level In Your Area. by Beaf: 6:31pm On Feb 15, 2012
The current IG seems to have been an excellent choice, especially considering the effort put in to get him; the top cadre of of the police force was sacked (along with Ringim) just to get to him.

If armed robberies increase at this time, then we know it is the useless, bribe taking police looking for alternative means to rob and fleece the public now that their "roger" roadblocks are going.
If the IG is really on his toes, then at least three quarters of the police force should be on the way out, maybe up to half are boko haram members anyway.

Nice start.
Politics › Re: 3rd World War Is Certain by Beaf: 10:08am On Feb 15, 2012
It is too late to stop Iran and the whole World knows it. Israel is panicking, because their trump card in Middle Eastern relations will no last for long; Iran will soon have nukes.
The question is if Iran will proliferate their weapons to Syria, Levanon and Jordan. Thats where the real beans is. That aside, a nuclear equipped Iran could sit in the strait of Homuz with all confidence, like a horned monster and dictate the direction of the oil market; an act that will lead to war.

Straight to the point sha. Can you add C# (or other code) you think shouldn't compile, but does? Lol!
Even better, can you tell us why the strange compositions we are about to witness are legal?

The best thing would be to give the id!ot various bombs to play with.
It is a real pity that he was a virgin before he committed the crime and he now stands the chance spending a lifetime in jail without ever knowing the taste of sweet puzzy (when he bends to pick the soap, he'll be getting a stiff one up the *** though grin).
Politics › Power Sector: American Energy Trade Delegation In Nigeria Today by Beaf(op): 8:36pm On Feb 14, 2012
American energy trade delegation in Nigeria today
Tuesday, 14 February 2012 12:21 SIAKA MOMOH

In what looks like heightened U.S. interest in doing business with Nigeria, an American energy trade delegation to Nigeria, will meet industry players today at 4 pm prompt at Radisson Blu, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island.

Admission is strictly by invitation. It would be recalled that only recently, major energy companies in the United States, namely General Electric and Chevron, among others indicated interest to invest in Nigeria’s power sector.

A United States trade delegation led by William Fitzgerald, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Africa, held talks with President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja to underscore the group’s interest to invest in Nigeria’s energy sector.

America, he said “is glad that the Nigerian government is focusing attention on the energy sector”, assuring that his country would support the move.

“Nigeria’s roadmap to power supply is interesting and the United States strongly supports it”, he said, adding that “the momentum is building up” towards sufficient power supply in Nigeria.

He said the delegation included large companies such as General Electric and Chevron, to show the seriousness of the mission.

Responding President Goodluck Jonathan assured the delegation of the federal government’s intention to create a favourable environment for them to facilitate their mission.

“I am pleased you are interested in the power sector, and assure you that Government has the political will to support all investors in Nigeria” he told the delegation.

Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Ex-leader, Buhari Ejected Over Unpaid N20m Rent by Beaf: 7:38pm On Feb 14, 2012
Can someone tell me how Buhari "integrity" allowed him to accept for his rent to be paid by Danjuma, who sold his corruptly aqcuired oil well for $1billion dollars and publicly proclaimed that he had so much money he didn't know what to do with it?
How come the same "integrity" was a block to his getting help from Nasarawa state?

Why would a man who is "not corrupt" live above his means? Lol!

Lies, lies, lies and more lies from the Buhari camp.

Anyways, lets join the Buhari lot and bitterly weep fake tears:

Yepa! My has! Dem don take awa has! I no get has for Abuja again! grin

alj harem:
can you explain how GEJ is worth 50 billion today ?
Can you explain why you lie so easily? Are you his banker? Why do you lie like a fool?
Why is it common among Buhari supporters to lie?
Another one of you lied against Wole Soyinka a couple of pages back. Claiming he said something which even a fool would know he never did.

Why are you Buhari people such crude types? Among you, there are youth corper killers, bigots, boko haram lovers and sponsors; and the average one of you tells lies as easily as drinking water.

Like leader like follower. Primitive calls to primitive. Buhari is a sharia addled, corrupt, cunning, bigotted snake; his times at PTF and NNPC tell it all. His followers are people like you; immoral, lying, thieving, scamming and shameless.
