ypzilanti: You do not need to visit the house of a politician to be a supporter. How many rooms are connected to the main sitting room in a straight line? Just give a number, no need for long details. |
MAULAG babes and MAULAG dudes learn from here: http://www.mouau.edu.ng/ |
horlarkunle: hi im new hereWelcome to NL and hope you enjoy the rough ride. |
MerryPlus: Nigeria runs a bi-cameral legislature. Any amendment to the University of Lagos Act must be approved by both chambers of the National Assembly in form of "University of Lagos(Amendment)Act". Contrary to the view of some contributors, the President requires the consent of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Amendment may sail through in the Senate, it will be "dead on arrival" in the House of Representatives.Funny stuff! Ok, lets assume your process is correct and the lower house is dumb enough to spit on MKO. This is how it will go: 1. Senate Ok's MAULAG. 2. Reps refuse. 3. President weilds veto power. 4. Case closed. Give up,sir! All hope is lost! ![]() |
oddy4real: This post you are about to read is from a friend. Look at it with an unbiased mind and it should be clear that all the stories trying to link Dame P. with these deaths are both cruel and illogical. I received a number of BBs that explicitl...ystate that it was the First Lady's VIPVery informative. Thanks. |
godfadda6: If a captain makes a distress call at 11 nautica miles (quoting minister of aviation) that's 20kilometers of the airport, there is a radar to show location before it lost contact, why wasn't all the NAMA, NEMA and all contact to tell them there was a mayday distress call?Very important questions. The way we do things in Nigeria is just shambolic; you would find that the very same theme in questions as to why a faulty plane could load passengers and take off. A lot of sanity needs to be brought into the avaiation system. Above all, the CEO and other top officials of Dana Air need to be jailed as an example. |
ypzilanti: I was in secondary school. I attended his rally. Was not old enough to vote, but my family were MKO fans and my parents voted for him.Ask your dad what the inside of MKO's house looks like. When he can't tell you, then come back and ask me, cos unlike you cowardly lot, I not only led and organised, but was influential enough to visit Abiola's house at Opebi on several occasions (same as Diya's). You only have a mouth on your face and little else. Come and id!otically tell me about your "Yoruba" and "SW" like you can even follow me into Mushin. Most of you MAULAG youth are just loud cowards and pieces of shiit spitting on the gargantuan legacy a name that you can never ever equal. |
nuclearboy: @Beaf:Do you take official steps before consulting? Its obvious you have no clue how politics works. You first do your background work, broadcast the action and then follow through with official sanction. Thats a free lesson for you in politics 101. |
OAM4J: I cant believe you post this. You were much better than this, but you lost your objectivity the day you decided to follow GEJ blindly and see no wrong in him or whatever he does.I'm sorry bro, but nobody can approach primitive hate-filled people to discuss anything. GEJ consulted with those who matter, the Senate. And thats that. If ACN people want any respect, they had better change their style. Afterall, ACN is merely a mushroom, inconsequential party. So long as GEJ has consulted with those who have the power to legalise the name, thats fine. ACN's presence in the Senate is close to zero. |
Rewind... Beaf: Buhari is a bloodthirsty, red-eyed, scary faced, "born to rule" mullah. |
oginnade: So Maku has finally agreed that his aclaimed stakeholders were nt consulted. He even affirmed there is no going back knowing fully well that they have jumped before the gun. What a shameless people. PDP's influence in the House of Assembly will be defeated by God's grace. The only stakeholder is the Senate and they were consulted. Every other party is either a tenant or noisemaker. MAULAG belongs to the FG, so the only stakeholders are the arms of FG. Period. |
nuclearboy: @poj:By using yourself as the definition, even Native Doctors too are psychologists, bro. Please, stop insuting psychologists. Thank you. |
ypzilanti: Abeg make i hear word. Anyone can claim anything. Your posts potray you as one of those Anyone In Power people (AGIP). Hence you would not have fought against the status quo 'government'. Your type abound everywhere in the world, and are especially resilient in Nigeria. Can you claim to have fought for MKO? Or are you not just another empty mouth belonging to an empty head, spewing dishonourable crap and spitting on MKO's legacy? I find people who trample on the legacy of our true heroes to be no more than moral tramps. |
Who and what was Mighty Joe anyway? |
Afis bro, I can understand your quandary, especially when Dele Times was your only source of information in those days. If you recalled, Dele Times was partially owned by the federal government, and one of the minority owners of Dele Times was the Alakija family of Mushin. In the annals of rich and wealthy nigerian families with deep money, the alakijas are the equivalent of the du ponts in America. You never read or hear about them, but their money speaks volumes and they own everything.Gaddem! Which one come be 'Dele Times' na?! ![]() |
The only evident idiocy is d one u display. What u call idiocy is d singular trait that raises d West(Yorubas) above all others in terms of political awareness. In any other part of d country, that illegality wud have been swallowed. But it can't 'fly' in d West, trust them. If all parts of Nigeria were 'Westernised', we wud hv had a more robust democracy. I hail these students. These r d new face of Nigeria. Mind u, the argument has always been: y did he not follow due process? And I bet u, the Senate will turn him down. Just watch. N u will die wen it happens. Punkhead!
Shut the phuck up! ![]() When people like me were on the streets risking our lives to fight for MKO, your type were hiding under their beds, paralysed with fear. We faced live bullets, armoured cars and extremely powerful teargas dropped from helicopters that exploded with the sound of a bomb. When we were patrolling and organising along the railway line (Oshodi to Iddo), along Western Avenue, Ikorodu Road etc; where were reptiles like you? Today, you have the guts to tell me about Yoruba and the SW; and then turn around to spit on MKO. I find your type thoroughly despicable. |
Let's get this str8...I dnt really like u...I think u're very senile and dumb jst like GEJ who happens to be ur role model
You don't like me? Dude, I don't even know you! Stick to the topic, bro. |
maclatunji: Citizens have the right to lobby their parliament O evil propagandist. GEJ should have waited for the court case to be concluded, why is he reversing his 'Presidential Proclamation on Democracy Day' by seeking the approval of the Senate?Lol! Wait for what court case? Some of you are really pumped up in oversize shoes! Do you think GEJ did not consult with the Senate before making the announcement? He just did not consult with ACN, cos they behave like cock-eyed vagabonds. Get used to MAULAG. ![]() |
onthefence: What is the rant all about? Your Principal has realised his folly and has done the right thing and you are still bleating like the goat you are.My brother, after your long wahala, it will still be MAULAG. |
maclatunji: You cannot give what you don't have. GEJ has finally recognised that he had no power to change the name of those institutions and is now deferring to the Senate for approval. All UNILAG students need to do is 'Occupy NASS' for a thorough rejection of this proposed name change.I thought they went to court too? Maybe they should come with the bunch of area boys that helped seize bridges too. MAULAG is here to stay. ![]() |
nuclearboy: @Beaf:MAULAG ![]() |
Bontee: What i get from this issue is just that, it has been the normal process ( not the right way though ) to rename a university, stadium, road or any federal or state public facility without the due process. The people usually do not oppose this change and neither does the state or federal assembly oppose it because they would have consulted themselves privately. They would not have opposed also if the ruling party controls the state where the name change will take effect but the opposition to unilag name change was not expected. It might be that the state is in opposition hands, politicians in southwest were contacted and not the school. So when the protest came out in the open then they just have to revert back to the right process and not the normal process described above. In order not to leave a bad taste they went back to update the other normal process for the other schools who already went ahead with the name change to the right process as with unilag. You hit the nail on the head, bro. |
otokx: The onus now rests with the senate to deny the request assuming allSo the Senate will suddenly change from a PDP one with David Mark as its head to one where MAULAG alumni have a say? Lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! When people tell you GEJ consulted widely, doesn't it occur to you that he only consulted those who matter? Dude, it would be the simple business of David Marks garvel coming down... Gboza!!! MAULAG forever! ![]() |
careytommy: So there is MAULAG and MAUTECH. MAUTECH still sweet for mouth pass MAULAG sha!Lol! https://mautech.edu.ng/templates/rt_solarsentinel_j15/images/header/black/header-bg.png |
Rabid Beaf on d rampage again. Dude, sumtimes u just shut d Bleep up and learn. U need not reply every time, esp if u are ignorant on d issue. Tot u said d name-change was final then? U still bawled like a dog wit rabies when some people were saying he ought to have sought parliamentary blessings first before changing d name. Now u hv seen it that his action is far from fianl. Wat if d Senate turns him down? And there is a s trong likelihood of dat happening. Wen they turn him down what will be ur response then?
Are you the one going to change it back to Unilag? In case you do not know, the party of traitors, ACN has negligible presence in the Senate. All other parties and the Nigerian public welcomes the name change to MAULAG. It is final. ![]() |
I not for politics, who would be spitting on MKO's legacy. Its a disgusting thing to watch, I can only view thos taking part the same way I view earthworms. How can anyone in their right mind say they are not proud for their institution to bear the name of a hero of our democracy? Its mind boggling proof of the moral emptiness of vast swathes of our population! ![]() |
Beaf=retard=retardeeen.....Your line of thinking shows u're retarded.
With a choice of id like 12 inches, your people must be regretting tour birth. Dunce. |
This was changed since last year, but the people did not ehxibit the sort of idiocy we are experiencing from MAULAG students. Why they would spit on MKO's legacy is beyond me. The FG owns the place and the students are mere tenants: https://mautech.edu.ng/templates/rt_solarsentinel_j15/images/header/black/header-bg.png |
I'm wondering what id!ot would have expected the President to put a motion on the floor of the senate before announcing the name. There are many strange types on NL indeed! The federal govt owns the damn place and it has chosen to honour MKO. This is the drill: 1. President announces. 2. Senate stamps approval. 3. MAULAG is born Simples. ![]() |
maclatunji: Let me get Beaf and Co. clearly. You are saying because an illegality has happened twice, it should be applauded a third time? This is a classic case of putting the cart before the horse.I'm simply pointing out that you people are daft, sir. No illegality occurred, rather we have proof from as far back as 2010 that there is a process which has been followed. Scream, shout and bite all you like, MAULAG is here to stay. ![]() |
Streaming media is not some sort of try your luck game. He needs to know his architecture right now. And that architecture needs to be scalable. |
Rewind... Beaf: I find those who trample on the dignity of the dead out of sheer animalistic hatred to be utterly despicable creatures who should be best lined up and summarily shot. |
