Romance / Re: Career Women Are Prone To Divorce: True? by beblessed(f): 9:26pm On Sep 25, 2012
Everyone is prone to divorce but making the right decisions and choices, especially before marriage will keep divorce far from you. If you decide to marry your job, your kids etc not your spouse, you are bound to end up divorce. It's a mindset. The value you place on your marriage/spouse will make or break it. If you leave because of career, it means the marriage was a sham.

Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Is Too Archaic It Worries Me by beblessed(f): 1:44pm On Sep 10, 2012
Pearl hapi, u re nt d only one who feels there is hope. It is so annoying dat we are quick to judge a good man by his taste of food and medicine. Cant u all see the man is childlike by nature? Only africans are changing their culture just to look americanish. Asians have retained theirs but improved on western stlyes and look where it placed them. My cousin studying in india says most indians eat with their hands while sitting on the floor. Am sure most copycat Nigerians will not sit on the floor and eat a bowl of eba and soup. Let d girl decide wat she wants. She has dated him for three years. Some marriages have not even lasted this long.
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Is Too Archaic It Worries Me by beblessed(f): 7:19pm On Sep 08, 2012
Plz op, leave the man alone! Only suggest to him. We should learn 2 love the natural african lifestyles. All these modern lifestyles only lead us to early graves via cancer, diabetes etc. Instead of raw garlic, buy d capsule forms. Who told u yam n red oil is not better than over preserved n processed springles? Even sex has been hyper- rated, only try to teach him wit love n you will have a healthy man by your side!
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Is Too Archaic It Worries Me by beblessed(f): 6:39pm On Sep 08, 2012
Hmmmmm. Op, i think you are still a teenager at heart. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your guy. He is simply not used to modern foods, facilities n propensities etc. For me, i love his kind of person. And i dont think you really love this man. True love will not use others to judge love. This guy is health conscious and so prefers local foods and remedies. You are not his type but i pray you dont miss him because he is very original. It's time you know what you want in a man and not what your family, friends, and society dictates for you.
Family / Re: Funny Gifts You Received After Celebrations? by beblessed(f): 5:28pm On Aug 26, 2012
I think every Nigerian home should have morta and pestle. I feel 4 men whose wives cannot make some local dishes, which when prepared with morta n pestle taste better. Try local fresh onion stew in morta n your life will not remain the same... All these modern appliances, though fast, will lead us to early grave.

Education / Re: Why Is Northern Nigeria So Backward Academically? by beblessed(f): 7:41am On Aug 03, 2012
To your tents oh israel, for the north is more academically advantaged, chikena! Their ancestors were erudite scholars. Please leave the north alone and mind your businesses. We are fine the way Nigeria is...

How many poor man's children are justices, judges, perm sec from the north? It only circulates within a particular group(s). One person will be a minister for twenty years. Later his son/daughter will take over...haba, how can you be this wicked. Come to the south and see how everyone is carried along with education.
Education / Re: Why Is Northern Nigeria So Backward Academically? by beblessed(f): 8:59am On Aug 02, 2012
Phildon, oh phildon! Go help your region plzzzzzzzz! You cant deny the facts unless you are part of the wicked cabals!
Education / Re: Why Is Northern Nigeria So Backward Academically? by beblessed(f): 8:07am On Aug 02, 2012
@ phildon, i never in my comments meant it was only a northern affair. Check my previous comment. My annoyance is that the so called leaders in this regions are not helping matters @ all. On 7th April, 2012, i raised an alarm on nairaland on the. Nigerian educational system, nobody said anything. Am a teacher in high standard private school and also a waec examiner, i can tell you that the rich in the society have taken care of their offsprings. It is going to be worse in future because when these so called illiterates realise themselves, they will come after learned people. The truth is that north is struggling behind the south. There are people in uk and usa who are not educated but we all know their standard is high. Similarly, the ratio of learned to unlearned in the north is likened to 10:90. Do u appreciate that ratio in all sincerity?
Education / Re: Why Is Northern Nigeria So Backward Academically? by beblessed(f): 6:08am On Aug 02, 2012
A serving minister of education from the north in the 90's once said that 'you dont have to see the four corners of a school to be educated'. That the mad rush for certificates by southerners was unhealthy and unnecessary. When a leader thinks this way, what do you expect from lettuce farmer or cattle rearer? Boko de haram!
Education / Re: Why Is Northern Nigeria So Backward Academically? by beblessed(f): 9:36pm On Aug 01, 2012
Blame the parents, blame the teachers, blame the government! Even blame the religious ' fanatical' leaders, who dont want them to know the truth! Keep the people in ignorance, you use them as you please is the tactis. Why do you think they 'boko haram' the people? So that the people will not see their weakness and inefficiency. It is everywhere my people. They use religion in north while they use toughery in the south. Divide and rule they poor masses and by the time they realise it, it is late...poverty and backwardness their lot.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: A Copy Of My Suicide Letter If I Dont Get A Job Soon. by beblessed(f): 6:03pm On Jul 24, 2012
I hv always said dat not every one should go to school. Some can be painters, plumbers, mechanic, masons, artisans etc and really enjoy life. Some feel dat being a graduate, u dont to lack money... My brother, go and find something 2 do with your hands. As long as one is not blind, for me, you can achieve anything. There are many things to do. Teach some pupils, driving, run errands 4 lazy men and their wives, sell papers and stuffs, even touting in motor packs sef with dignity can fetch u money.

Politics / Which Leader Stopped Turn Around Maintainence Of Refineries? by beblessed(f): 7:06am On Jul 05, 2012
As i observe the drama of oil subsidy,it is quite glaring that the problems of the oil sector started when the government of past decided to stop turn around activities in the three refineries. The government spent money building pipelines which we are not using, instead imported products are distributed in tankers. We should start the probe of oil subsiby from the military leader and petroleum ministers because they have put us in this quagmire.

Ok. But if u really are a christian, ur prayer should be dat God deliver all of us frm these wicked people. And i hv learnt nt to curse my leaders because there's a reason why God has put them there. A corrupt nation gets corrupt leaders.
