Any Nigeria that has lived and paid taxes anywhere in Nigeria can legally contest elections in that area. All you can do is vote against them not bringing out guns to kill them while celebrating a yoruba mp elected in UK. Its just gross.

APC's biggest stronghold is in Lagos. For the past decade, the Igbos have been supporting opposition parties to take over Lagos. This has immensely angered the Lagos Indigenes and Yorubas who feel that it is a mode of domination.
Also, the actions of some Igbos who believe Lagos is "No man's land" and they can do whatever and nada will happen is also fueling sentiments. The support of Vivour-Rhodes who cannot speak Yoruba but wants to govern Yorubas is another insult on Yoruba's sensitivity.
I condemn the attack on innocent people's livelihood but please do not let it get much worse.

First of all, no new states will ever be created. I mean ever by the NASS so no need to dream about it.
Secondly principal office holders only get perks of office. Their entire power lie on how many people in the house that are loyal to them. Orji if he becomes SP will only become richer personally and generally do Tinubu's bidding because non of the Senators will be personally loyal to him.
The only purpose he will serve is to be used as propaganda by tinubu as what he did for the igbos. Do you see why it's actually not in our best interest if he becomes SP?
