This is just media poll as far as we are concerned; people should not be deceived by all these social media shenanigans...the real thing is all that matters here, Saraki can only win on media, but cannot win on the real poll....he shouldn't celebrate victory over media polls..Nigerians know who they want to lead them, Saraki should go clear himself off the Offa Robbery, as we cannot elect one who would lead this Nation to doom..

Reno please this is no strategy to get positive attention nor is it a plan to get people on your side... Mr President has given his speech on the Nigeria at 58, if this affects you so, start by making things right in your home state, start by being positive in your open statement as regarding the people who lead you, if you must criticize another remember you are not perfect, if this is how you want to run your campaign then you will fail woefully..

That's the honest truth, I concur with Tony on this....OBJ had his own fair share of leadership and messed it up in its entirety, allowed himself to be consumed by corruption and greed and he is trying to bring in himself to godfatherism to say who becomes president and who doesn't..
As far as I am concerned OBJ is not the one to elect who becomes president...it's the people of Nigeria who are to vote their choice...if PMB will win as President come 2019, OBJ can do nothing!

Saraki is just a desperate man that thirsts for power, and if he is allowed so; he will set this country to doom and corruption will be the new song in the tongues of Nigerians, Saraki has lost trust in his home state. There's a saying that charity begins at home, if Saraki has not set a good foundation for his people in his own state, then i wonder what he is looking for ruling a whole country like Nigeria. We don't need a dangerous person to lead this country.

I believe we are humans and everyone is bound to make mistakes and then it all depends on how you right your mistakes; that,s what makes it better.. PMB has made mistakes and he is doing needful as regards taking steps to correct his mistakes..That is what makes him human. He cannot be judged on his mistake....The past administration made mistakes and did nothing to correct their mistakes...We should rather support PMB onto greatness and growth of this country, rather than condemn.

Politics › Electoral Act Amendment Bill: Card Reader, Tool For Credible Polls – Presidency by beegodson(op): 12:55pm On Sep 10, 2018
ABUJA – THE Presidency Suday said that the use of electronic voting especially card reader in elections has become a sine qua non that makes the electoral process credible. The Presidency also insisted that the refusal of President Muhammadu Buhari to assent to the Electoral Act Amendment Bill, 2018 was not as a result of objection to e-voting as has been insinuated but because of draft flaws which have been transmitted to the National Assembly for correction. Senior Special Assistant to President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu in a statement in Abuja, said that the refusal of the President to append his signature on the Electoral Amendment Bill will in no way affect the use of card reader in the 2019 elections. The statement read this, “The Presidency rejects allegations of opposition politicians, as well as some newspaper editorial opinions creating the impression that President Muhammadu Buhari is against e-voting, the use of card readers in the upcoming elections, hence his decision to decline assent, for the third time, to the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill 2018. “We wish to state in clear and unambiguous terms that the issue of e-voting and use of card readers was NEVER an issue for the President’s decision to decline assent to the Bill. “It is equally important that this issue was not raised either by the Executive or the Legislature in the recent reviews. Moreover, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) adoption of e-voting reforms is enshrined in the 2015 Amendment Act to the Electoral Reform Act. Card reader is therefore a settled matter. “The President’s recent decision to decline assent to the Bill has no effect whatsoever on INEC’s use of card readers. “Regrettably, purveyors of ‘fake news’ have been quick to churn out sensational headlines such as that of a leading newspaper, which screamed: “Card Reader in Jeopardy, Buhari Rejects Electoral Act Amendment Bill Again.” “Unfortunately, most of the critics of the President, including the editorial of a national daily this morning read out parts of the letters, as made available by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, detailing the issues that were of concern to the government. “An issue has been raised by the President concerning some ill-prepared and flawed parts of the bill for which corrections needed to be made to allow for his signature. The President wanted engagement with the parliament for the corrections to be effected so that, at the end of the day, both arms of government will be happy with the fact that we have a good electoral law in place. “The President is not in confrontation with the parliament on this issue. He has asked his officials to dialogue with the legislature for the corrections to be effected. “As for his alleged rejection of the card reader, nothing can be farther from the truth.” Continuing, he said, “The President is the country’s number one fan of the card reader. For a candidate who ran three times and “lost” in an electoral environment in which votes were allocated and losers asked to go to court if they felt unhappy, the President knows fully well the role that the card reader played in his emergence in 2015. “He has said times without number that he would strengthen and widen its application in the country and this, he is determined to do. “Accordingly, we would like to appeal, especially to the media to disregard baseless allegations against the President, even as he puts in his best efforts in working with the National Assembly to give the nation a good electoral law, and in time. “The card reader is not in danger of being discarded. It is a sine qua non for credible elections. “We appeal to the National Assembly to reconvene as soon as possible to consider and approve the necessary corrections to the amended electoral act.”
