Only wise politicians will stick and support the winning party....the PDP members seeking a deal with PMB, have realized that it pays better to be in a winning team than in any other party such as that of PDP...

well since it's just a group of women, their votes don't make much a difference as compared to the number of votes; 90% of Nigerians are voluntarily giving their votes for PMB, so we are not shaking or fretting we have full confidence in the Buhari Administration, PMB is the only solution to the change Nigeria needs..

PoliticsAPC: PDP Has Already Conceded Defeat Even Before The 2019 Elections by beegodson(op): 11:51am On Sep 03, 2018
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has berated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for its attack on the party's choice of direct primaries to select its presidential candidate in the 2019 elections.

Describing PDP's position as pointing towards the party accepting defeat "even before the 2019 elections", APC described PDP's stand as "amusing".

A statement by Yekini Nabena, APC's Acting National Publicity Secretary, on Sunday, noted that the adoption of direct primaries is "revolutionary and progressive".

APC also described PDP as "a party known for its inability to ensure internal party democracy and actively promotes imposition of candidates against the free wil of members".

The statement read: "The All Progressives Congress (APC) is amused by the interest the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has in the mode of election the APC chooses to adopt for primaries to elect party candidates for the 2019 elections.

"With over 13 million registered APC members, coupled with a large section of nonpartisan Nigerian electorate supporting the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC administration, it would seem that the PDP, on account of its attack of APC's adoption of direct primaries particularly to elect its presidential candidate, has already conceded defeat even before the 2019 elections.

"We quite understand that the revolutionary and progressive idea of direct primaries to elect party candidates is strange to the PDP - a party known for its inability to ensure internal party democracy and actively promotes imposition of candidates against the will of its members."

According to APC, not only do direct primaries "ensure fairness", it "creates a level playing ground for contestants; eliminates corrupt tendencies usually associated with the delegates system and ultimately ensure full and direct participation of party members at all levels in the election of party candidates".

The party restated its commitment to implementing the "change agenda promised to Nigerians", and urged Nigerians "to continue their support as the president continues to rebuild and re position the country".

PoliticsRe: Only Atiku Can Restructure Nigeria- Afenifere by beegodson: 11:32am On Sep 03, 2018
I believe Atiku's skills on Restructuring is a core course on Corruption structuring no doubt about that, he will only deceive people and make them vote him and then when he is voted in *boom* Corruption becomes the order of the day. Nigerians begin to suffer.. Nigerians should not be deceived by all these; we have been led by the OBJ/Atiku in the past and they had ample time to do all restructuring..but they didn't!
Atiku had his chance to proof himself and he did not... Enough is Enough!
PoliticsRe: FG Okays $1.3bn For 5 Critical Projects – Lai Mohammed by beegodson: 11:19am On Sep 03, 2018
PMB has done way better than the past government. That's a fact!... it's obvious and some people still fail to see this obvious fact after being clouded by hatred.. People keep dishing out hate speeches, but the good part of it all is the fact that PMB dishes out welcome developments to put the disbelievers in check.
This approval of the $1.3bn for the priority projects is a positive development by President Buhari..If PMB wins in the 2019 elections i believe he will take this Nation to greater heights.
God Bless Nigeria!

PMB is not afraid of a free and fair election only those who have something to hide will be afraid of a Free and Fair election..
PMB is definitely one to be trusted as regards the free and fair elections in the 2019 polls, he is a man of integrity and has nothing to fear..PMB has always fought against corruption, i am sure he won't deviate from that. The people who voted him in after GEJ and saw the good in him will surely vote him come 2019.
PoliticsRe: PDP To Buhari: Do Not Subjugate Your Interest As National Interest by beegodson: 2:44pm On Aug 30, 2018
This PDP always point fingers and talk negatively against Mr President, they have failed to realize that this is no strategy or means to get the people on their side.... instead it sky rockets PMB more to likes from the people because the more they speak negatively about PMB the more he closes the loop holes, learns from his mistakes and makes them right... PMB is a man of the people he has no business subjugating his interest.
The PDPs are just attention seekers.. these PDPs will be shocked by APC Victory come 2019!
PoliticsRe: Restructuring: Buhari, Osinbajo, APC Lied To Nigerians – PDP by beegodson: 1:48pm On Aug 30, 2018
Look who's talking the PDP that looted this country's money and led this nation to doom; now they are here saying PMB lied to Nigerians?...
I must say that the reverse is the case here as we all know that the Buhari led administration is doing a far better job than the PDP. That's a fact...
This government has done a lot for this country.. PDP wasted 16 years to the loss of the masses and to their own benefit.
as far as i am concerned the only government lying to Nigerians is the PDP..

Now where are those wailers who were saying PMB is not efficient...even the said Atiku did not even try to look into the Jaba Town Road when he was VP, now PMB has helped him in the construction of that road. Atiku had better be grateful and loyal to PMB.
Atiku obviously did nothing to help his people when in power now he wants to come out for President...Atiku people have lost trust in your government and you were given ample time to right your wrongs, but you didn't!
Good job To President Buhari.
Kudos to your government Sir!

Talk is definitely cheap; much talk doesn't make one a leader, one has to plan, create a strategy and make sure you past records are clean and you have got the interest of your people at heart, not just to come out and begin to say so many things negative against the incumbent President etc, well its no news that Sowore is only seeking the attention he can get, he is trying to put himself out there to be noticed by people, he knows he doesn't stand a chance against PMB.

everyone knows this is accumulated debt from the past government and yet the PDP are talking about APC wrecking the country; when they are aware of the debt accumulated by the PDP government. PoliticsRe: Why Saraki Is Afraid Of Reconvening - APC by beegodson: 11:36am On Aug 23, 2018
The only thing Saraki should be concerned with is the welfare and peace of the nation; now he has refused to re-convene the NASS because of his own selfish interest and of course fear of impeachment; He should re-convene already if he has nothing he`s afraid of and if he has nothing to fear, he knows the right thing to do.

PoliticsNigeria’s Economy Attracts N8.5tn Investments In Three Years by beegodson(op): 3:16pm On Aug 14, 2018
The Nigerian economy attracted a total investment inflow of $27.9bn between July 2015 and March this year.

Based on the official N305 to a dollar exchange rate of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the amount ($27.9bn) translates into about N8.5tn.

Documents of the country’s investment inflows obtained from the National Bureau of Statistics revealed that the investment came in from three main sources.

They are foreign direct investments made up of equity and other capital; portfolio investment comprising equity, bond and money market instruments; and other investments which are made up of trade credit, loans, currency deposit and other claims.

A further analysis of the report showed that Nigeria’s foreign exchange policy and the economic recession largely shaped capital importation over the period.

For instance, it was revealed that prior to the economic recession of 2015, the level of investment inflows was at an upward trajectory.

However, at the onset of the economy crisis few months after the inauguration of President Muhammadu Buhari, findings showed that investment inflow recorded a sharp decline to almost half of the 2014 value of $20.76bn, dropping to $9.65bn in 2015.

The report also showed that in 2016, the value of investment inflow remained depressed, decreasing by $4.55bn from $9.65bn in 2015 to $5.1bn.

It, however, noted that the recovery began in 2017, as investors raised their stake by $7.1bn to $12.2bn.

As of the end of the first quarter this year, the country attracted about $6.3bn investment inflows, according to the NBS data.

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, Yewande Sadiku, had said that the government was committed to attracting fresh investments in key sectors of the economy.

Sadiku said the commission now had a seamless collaboration with the states to enable it to monitor closely investments inflow into the country as a one-stop centre.

She said the commission was working with key stakeholders to see more Nigerians invest in the country, adding that the current efforts of the NIPC in working more closely with the states was to increase the level of investment inflow and ensure seamless collaboration and proper tracking.

She said, “We are interested in seeing more Nigerians invest in the country, and we have a domestic direct investment model now in the commission and we working with the National Bureau of Statistics to track investments inflow into the country.”

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Okechukwu Enelamah, also said the government had been received huge interests from investors in the last 15 months.

For instance, he said the country recorded a total investment commitment of $83bn between January last year and March this year.

Giving a breakdown of this figure, the minister said the country secured a total investment of $66bn in 2017 while the balance of $17bn investment was secured in the first quarter of this year.

He said the investment commitments of $83bn were secured in three key sectors of the economy.

The sectors are oil and gas, manufacturing and real estates.

He said, “The commitment of the Federal Government to unlock investments in the country is total. This government has taken a number of steps to genuinely engage stakeholders.

“As a country, Nigeria has had a fair share of adversities in the past but this government has identified the challenges and is addressing them through partnerships.”
