last Vegas is actually a casino "las Vegas Casino, Nairobi". it happens to be very popular around Nairobi. was there once for an aviation programme, i loved Kenya, ate lots of potato and bush meat.

you've said it all, sometimes u dont blame them completely, frusteration could lead to many things.Imagine ur house rent waiting for you, ur parents waiting for ur response from the village, maybe u have a way way young sibbling waiting somewhere for pocket money and u need to take care of ur very own self. believe me, i would've fallen for it "maybe" had it not being for the programme i took up at d start of the year. I agree with you.Circumstances can push one to do things that they wouldn't normally do.Especially in our seemingly ever struggling African economies.But still my point is that tough economy or not, am sure these kind of stories are not new to Naija. Ritualists and worshippers that worship on some diabolical altars.Knowing such , you'd think one would be very cautious not to end up a case study or statistic.But I think we are need-driven people.As in the end justifies the means, regardless if how unethical that means might be. As for my profile pic, try fall in love coz everyone else seems to be in love with it.Am proudly Kenyan and not Congolese though.

Why are human beings slow to think and quick to forget.See am not from Nigeria but I've read enough strange stories here that left me with shivers.You'd think people would learn but that's not the case? People go for HIV tests on their own. I have never been asked to do blood test as part of the recruitment process. If you are asked to do a blood test then ask which test they want to perform. Before an HIV test, you are supposed to be counselled by a trained counselor.

I beg to differ.I once had a very cruel boss.She turned my life at work into a living hell.In most cases, such bosses never have anything good to say about someone for the records.I used to enter the compound and would be walking on eggshells.But one day I decided that I had enough.Infact it was my boss together with her supervisor in the office.I wrote a letter and gave it to my bosses's boss. I said whoever has been wanting me out can now enjoy the privilege of working my hours overtime.But I refuse to be made an option when I could be a priority somewhere.See, I am tired of Africans living in fear in order to impress.If I don't like you, I don't have to pretend like I do because you are not my God.bosses who treat you like a trash and then you are scared of burning bridges,you ought to know there were no bridges to burn in the 1st place.You did not have a relationship.Everyone will advise to stay calm and act like nothing happened.I belong to a different school of thought.I'll give you dose of your own medicine before burning bridges if any.Bosses are not your God! New generation parents

Some teachers infact ,many teachers cane the children based on issues other than classroom issues.For instance if they dislike someone from your family or are jealous of your family's status such as financially or socially, just to name a few.They'll now be using the deep-rooted hatred to pick on the student at any given opportunity.This would make any student to be walking on egg-shells anytime they are in the classroom not knowing what's coming next.Yes, some are devil's incarnates parading as teachers.Besides, teachers go to study education in order to gain teaching skills .They don't study martial arts because school is not a war zone.Thank God here in the US they don't cane children, otherwise am 110% with Dami on this one.
