I have gotten to a point in my Faith walk where am no longer excited by prophecies, signs & wonders.I've come to a point where I desire to be like the Berean Christians, who after Paul had preached to them , went back & studied the scripture to see if it was so. I am no longer waiting for a new prophet to come to town or for a pastor to spoon feed me.I want to know God for myself & not rely on other people's knowledge of Him.

Over the weekend, I was privy to a Demon-Exorcism or Spiritual Deliverance at the house of my pious Christian neighbor clarified.

What was interesting is that for the first time, The only Muslim among 6 flats of Christian folks concurred with the other Christians on what was taking place before me. I was not aware that Muslims believed in demon-possession/removal.

A young girl (Housemaid) resumed at her employer's house and as I understand, needed to go through some purification process after having passed the compulsory Health tests. She was interviewed by a Man of God.. Who was the Pastor of my neighbour's Church. (I won't mention it here)

The pastor through the "Eyes of the Spirit" determined she was possessed of a "latent war demon" who's appointed duty is to work at a location until such a time when he/she will be called upon to execute some agreed script by his/her Demon taskmasters. I was totally in awe of the Pastor's depth of knowledge and experience about Demons and Demon-possession.

The reason I was called to this session apparently is that every tenant needs to know any new house-help getting hired so everyone is in agreement and there is no confusion as to the house-helps, Character, Spiritual and Mental stability. all this i sort of agreed with until the "Spiritual Deliverance" commenced.

To cut the story short, the girl probably no older than 15 was delivered of 5 specific spirits (Frustration, Poverty, Fornication, Stealing and Stubbornness) and one demon (War Demon) after almost 30 minutes of vomiting and spitting. As i learned; she will be taken to Church to rest as part of a recovery process to totally cleanse her of all remnants of the Devil's work.

As i am planning on hiring a house-help in the very near future. I am disturbed by what I saw and wanted to find out from our Religious experts on Demonology answers to the following:

1: How can you tell a person is possessed by specific Evil Spirits and Demons?

2: Are Spirits different from Demons?

3: Are Spirits and Demons limited by the Intellectual Maturity or Physical Disabilities of the person they possess? are demons as dumb as the people they possess

I may have my notions about demons but they are no where near the experience I had this weekend.

So people please help me understand.

The Bible says that without faith,it is impossible to please God.What we need is faith.The disciples of Jesus went to Him & said "Lord, the demons are subject to us in your name." Satan was already defeated after Christ died & rose from the grave.It is not our job as Christians to be naming the different hierarchies of demonic kingdoms or sweating for hours in the name of driving out demons.We have a name that's above every other, Jesus. At the mention of his name ,every knee bows. What you see in churches today is actors, acting a script.They'll play theatricals & make you believe that you are delivered. God is the deliverer & not some pastor. When Jesus approached a mad man, the demons began to scream & say leave us alone.They asked Jesus not to drive them away & they were sent to the pigs. What am saying is that light & darkness have no fellowship.When the presence of God enters a place,every demonic spirit flees. When you are filled with the spirit of God,evil spirits cannot take residence in you.

That said, i think you need a change of perception about this whole thing. Doctors are professionals and whether you like it or not, some day your wife is going to part her legs on the doctor's table. Those clamouring for female gynae or whatever are somewhat being naive. Wait till your wife has a critical condition, then you realise your wife's well being rather than the doctor's gender is all that matters.

Tell this Op about pap smears.Where I am,we get them regularly & we are still here. Though I'll admit I hate them gynaecological exams.Pap smears are done to check for abnormal cells in the cervix and are especially recommended for all sexually active women.Normal vaginal exams include a manual exam, where a doctor will insert two fingers to feel for cysts or any abnormalities in the cervix.Speculums or Scopes may also be used to achieve the desired results.It is very normal & all women who can afford regular exams are encouraged to have them.

As someone who took a couple of classes in the medical field,I can categorically say that it's wrong. Someone said that kids already have bacteria from the things that they pick on the ground.Such bacteria are things like amoeba or worms which can be treated with antibiotics or anti-fungal medications.However adults carry not just bacteria but also viruses.The young kids bodies immunity is still not completely developed yet. Viral diseases such as oral herpes,mononucleosis, hepatitis & even the bacteria that causes cavities, all these are transmitted through the mouth.Those of you saying it's evil thoughts, it's not just evil thoughts, bacterial/viral transmission is real.Think of other adults who engage in MouthAction & may infect these young kids with all kinds of stds via body fluid in this case,saliva.#BEWARE !
