Hahaha! What a username! ![]() I like it that you can still be humorous even in a bad situation. I'm sure with time and determination everything will fall into place. Congrats on your new "work" and good luck in all that you do ![]() ![]() |
nairalandstinks:**sighs** One of the many things I'll never feel bad about is my lack of understanding when it comes to display of idiocy in the guise of trollling. Just limit your generational stupidity to where it belongs. I'm done here. |
nairalandstinks:Are you crazy? What's the meaning of this useless comment of yours? I suggest you try as much as possible to limit your stupidity to where it belongs. |
I'm glad my prayers for him are being answered. Keep making us proud, Kelechi ![]() ![]() |
Is growing old only restricted to women? What exactly is it about a woman growing old that is a problem for you? Since when did old age equate beauty depreciation? Everyone keeps opening useless threads about women. Why don't you worry about yourselves first. You want to worry about our genetic make up? When was the last time you looked in the mirror? I think it's time for most of you to start keeping your useless advice to your pathetic selves. Nairaland is just a representation of Nigeria. Everyone is worrying about the female but no one is doing a good job when it comes to raising the male child so the men just keep getting more messed up by the generation. |
Marriott1980:Common sense isn't even required to understand that this is wrong. There are various ways to discipline a child without making him/her feel less human .The comments here are really disappointing. Maybe, it's a case of "the abused becomes the abuser" It's pathetic. God bless you too. |
This is wrong. There's a thin line between discipline and abuse. She definitely crossed that line. It's sad some people can't see it as it is. |
Someone is taking very good care of her. She's looking good ![]() |
My heart bleeds for Funmi. Abused at home, abused in school yet no credible law enforcement agents to put a stop to it. Modified: I just read the comments on the first page. What is wrong with some of you? I'm yet to see the purported bigotry in the OP. Why is there a need to put up a defense? No one is discussing the abuse. No one is discussing the emotional turmoil Funmi is passing through. No one is discussing the apathetic approach to the issue by the teachers. This is an attitude that has, unfortunately, become quite common among many Nigerians when it comes to abuse. No one is even discussing the ineffectiveness of the police force. No one is discussing the resultant lack of justice. Must everything be viewed with a tribal lens? Why are some of you so messed up? Is there no limit to this weak-mindedness? |
Jdesilentkiller:These oils are all natural and definitely don't burn the hair. White people didn't give anybody these oils. Unless you're insinuating they created coconut, castor, avocado and other fruits. That'll be ridiculous. |
Not every thread must be given attention. Asaba is the capital of Delta state and no random online opinion can change that. I really like the idea of an "Anioma state" though. |
Double post |
I really Yes, I know it's weird to hate on a cartoon character but I can't help it. |
refiner:Yes, dear. I don't endorse the act of dating married men but let's try not to extricate the man from this morally wrong deed. He made a vow before God and man. Therefore; he has a greater responsibility to God, himself, his wife and possibly, kids. I know it's not right to judge as none of us is perfect but if we're going to do it, we better be fair ![]() |
refiner:Why can't married men keep it in their pants? It's a disgrace ![]() |
Street light is a basic amenity for God's sake! It's a norm in various cities across the country. Why should it be an issue for a state that was the capital of Nigeria for decades? And you have the guts to compare it to London. This is very embarrassing. |
If this is true, she's definitely a chronic liar. It can seem like a form of sickness sometimes. Besides, he beat her up because he couldn't control his anger or what? Well, I don't feel the least bit sorry for him. His husband material is probably analagous to that of a rag. Evidently, the only thing he's good at is sex. In my opinion, that equates to useless. |
cr7lomo: Duru009:Explain. The fact that most Nigerian guys can't go a day without making some form of derogatory comment about Nigerian women is not only a sign of inferiority complex, it also exposes your feelings of inadequacy. |
I love this! Thanks op ![]() |
Crap! How does this affect the average Nigerian? Buhari can fight corruption all he wants. He should just not forget that's just one thing out of so much that he's meant to be doing. |
"Strictness" and "controlling" are not the same thing. Most Nigerian parents are too damn controlling. I have no doubt they love their children but to be honest, I think it's overdone. |
kaziblake:Wow! If you don't mind, how old were you? |
KingTom:Chei! ![]() Amen oo |
KingTom: ![]() KingTom, what does "Ko ni da fun Iya" mean? |
marlockj:Lol! What a question. But you're right. @topic, I remember this man from the royco advertisement they always aired during Super Story. He was young(er) then. Hmmm!.. my childhood ![]() |
Lmao! "I am not a Christmas goat" Well, if you fall for any of these, you certainly are.. at least to the pastorpreneur ![]() |
I hope he's able to do something about it. Those nass members have no conscience. I just don't get why things can't be done right in Nigeria. How can one have money and brains but still can't use any of them effectively? It's sad. |
It's like he's trying to get some reassurance that the interviewer isn't crazy or something. |
Wow! That's a double. Happy birthday ![]() |
