But two days ago, i needed to clear the air on something so i asked him via whatsapp that my girlfriend wants to divorce the husband because he slapped her and he condemned the act saying it could lead to battery if proper measure is not taken. I also asked him that my friend's husband left her in d hosptal when she was hospitalized saying she has family so they should pay d bill. He found out that i was referring to him but his reply was that he should have given me two more slaps as prescribed and y would he pay the hospital bill when i was taking advice from my girlfriend....
Pls dear nlanders mature advise pls. Help a confused sister.

Your wife is acting like that just to get at you! If she is really cheating on you, she won't bring the guys home or even make loud calls around you. Believe me, some of the loud calls are fake.

At this stage, she will derive joy to see you feel pain...which she expects you to react through being restless, angry, and complain. Do not give her that. Just act as if you are ok with her actions(it won't be easy at all). But that's a reverse psychology of not showing her what she expects-this will make her think of making a turn. But that's not all.

Most importantly, never stop getting her what you know she likes(expect refusal initially anyway). Also, try to get your kids attention the more. That will definitely make her jealous and want to come back.

Cook for your kids if you can...Play with them. And you know all those things their mum does for them, take over and start doing them for your kids.

I know you must have apologized, keep apologizing.

But be careful...once she stops making those loud calls, bringing guys home, yet she haven't changed and taken over her duty at home. At this point, something may be going on outside.

Still give her time...for the fact that you attested that she trusted you so much; it will take her sometime to get off the shock.

--keep apologizing
--care extra to your kids
--get her gifts
--give her extra time
--be watchful once she stops be evasive with her shock-effect behavior

Being thinking on this for long...However my 2kobo is this;

To me, I prefer investing in students hostel or lodge structure than in family houses(i.e bungalows, flat systems).

As someone said earlier, that you can make between 900k-1million annually from a 3 bedroom flat:

Know it that the cost of erecting the structure at such high-paid area will be very costly--way up above 11million. But from my observations, it doesn't take anything less than 9-13years to recover your investment on bungalows and flat-system accommodations. Unlike when you invest in students hostel/lodging structures.

So, my reasons for students' accommodation is that...

---With relatively low capital, you can get better yield especially when you discover a proposed school site and get land there early enough.

Let's take a very simple and codely economical case study in Enugu...nsukka to be precise.

2 plots of land around UNN (University of Nigeria,Nsukka) will go between 4-6million. With this at hand, you can go only for ground-floor lodge/hostel. Cost of foundation is highly reduced, no need for much rods in the foundation. Even if you decide to do a foundation for a storey hostel, is till great and cost effective.

These 2 plots will give you not less than 30-self con rooms. And a room goes between 90-120k per year.

The cost of erecting this structure with tiled floor, and with well-arranged compound will range between 6-10million. Of course been a relatively local area, you will get cheap Labour with good output. Packaged Labour personnel are yet to start that nonsense here...just like is been done at the Lagos Islands, Abuja, PH,etc.

So, with 13-16million you have 30 self-con rooms excluding one or two stores.

Say the rent goes for 100k per year, we have 3million per year.

Do the maths and know the time of capital investment recoup and the ROI after 10years.

To me this is smarter...

No sooner had he become a senator, Nigerians began to witness a new Bruce, who started proselytizing “The Common Sense Revolution” where he has been touting ideas after ideas on what is wrong with the country and how we can fix them. Using media platforms, Bruce has sought to identify the troubles with the Nigerian nation whilst at the same time proffering solutions to these challenges.

The trouble with Bruce’s Common Sense Revolution is that one cannot discern whether it is a publicity drive or a genuine cause to salvage Nigeria. For example, many have asked where has Bruce being all these years? Was he asleep when his party the PDP raped Nigeria from 1999 to 2015? Particularly, when his kinsman in former President Goodluck Jonathan held sway and nearly ran the nation aground. Surprisingly, Bruce saw no evil and thus tucked his commons sense revolution in his boxer shorts.

I was miffed when Bruce went on twitter to announce that he was donating half of his wardrobe allowance to the people of Osun State, following the failure of the Osun State Government to pay salaries for some months. For all its worth, I as many Nigerians felt that such philanthropy was puerile and unbecoming for a man like Bruce. First of all, one felt that Bruce should have as a Senator worked across the aisle in the Senate to perhaps sponsor a bill that would have sought relief or bailout packages for states like Osun. Again, one wonders whether a paltry sum of N253, 300.00 per annum would have been enough for over 30,000 civil servants in Osun, while his home state of Bayelsa owed pensioners and workers too. Many therefore wondered why Ben Bruce wanted to begin his own charity abroad.

Perhaps, like the village rascal, who is not fretful about the notoriety of his image, Bruce has not let up from playing to the gallery time and time again. One time, the senator advocated on twitter that he was wondering why Nigeria with 36 states had to have 36 ministers, whereas the United States of America with 50 states had 18 or thereabout ministers. I quickly retorted that the same United States had two senators per state and asked whether he was willing to give up his seat in order to make his common sense practical! Dear readers, Senator Bruce never responded and as at this point in time he still has his seat in the senate!

From his tweets urging Fashola not to use generator, to his referral to a minister in Buhari’s cabinet as a criminal unto his silence while the Senate in its profligacy wants to purchase cars amounting to N4.5bn, Senator Bruce has shown that hypocrisy is now becoming his favourite past time.

The trouble in his common sense revolution is that Bruce sounds like a socialist while he is a capitalist, a liberal while he is a pseudo liberal and a progressive whereas he is at heart pro establishment.

While I do not frown at his being vocal, I would only wish that Senator Bruce would channel his new found love for activism unto good bills, motions and resolutions on the floor of the senate, guided by truth and patriotism.

This way, he would not only make a good case for himself but also for millions of professionals considering politics as a means of service.
