Your chance is dependent on so many factors which include but not limited to your ability to explain home ties, purpose for career change through solid statement of purpose.

He can only get 20 points if he has a PhD. Bachelors and masters are both 15 points.

With EA, experience is not required to get a positive assessment. However, engineering occupations are skill level 1 occupations, which means a bachelor degree is required.

For his sales experience, the closest occupation is a sales and marketing manager. To get a positive assessment, he needs to demonstrate he has been a sales manager by presenting the company's organogram and showing departments that report to him. Meanwhile, the occupation is also a skill level 1 occupation but experience may be deducted in lieu of qualification. The key here is, can he demonstrate that he has been a manager in the last five years?

If he had had an engineering experience related to his occupation, mechanical fitter would have been a good option.

Update your passport details now. If it has less than 6 months validity at the time to approve the visa, they will contact you for a new passport. It is better you update now than add another months of waiting for the update.

I don't think that should be your concern because if you get an ITA with the current position, you would have wasted time and resources. The earlier you edit it the better.

At this stage, you can only wait till they get back to you. I can't say whether you have a chance or not but I know they have sent invitation to people with similar point in the past.

Have you submitted application to them? You need to apply directly to the states too.

My hubby studied Business Administration & Management(Bsc) and he has huge experience in customers' service. Are you suggesting he should be PA? Is Customer Service officer on CSOL/SOL? If yes, what is the average point for it? I count on your unbiased judgement?

If you are able to net 80 points, you have high chance.

Northern Territory is the only state currently nominating customer service manager. It is on special condition in SA which means, it requires about 75 points (not too sure of this).

If he is able to get 75 points, it is an opportunity you can explore.

I know that the academics is 3months before your commencement date.

You can enter one second after the visa is approved. Only that your first entry cannot be after the IED.

Due to the very high number of accountants applying for skilled migration, it is difficult to get ITA except you have high score like 80 and above. Most of the states have cut back significantly on the number of accountants they invite.

1. Your ICAN can be assessed to be equivalent to AQF Bachelor degree. The accountants on the thread will advice you further on that.

2. The points you get in experience is dependent on how well you can articulate your job descriptions. I believe all what you have done can still be classified as accounting work, so don't short changed yourself.

3. No other option outside 189, 190 and 489. The other alternative is to come on study visa.

Yes, during the school session, you are legally entitled to work 20hrs/week while you can work unlimited hours during the holiday.

You guys are moving to Sydney which is good for you. I cannot promise you will get an IT job because of your visa but I can assure that you will get something to do. And you may be lucky to get an IT job with a company that cares less if you have PR..

The satisfaction or fulfillment from the move depends largely on your reason for relocation. If you are after quality and value for life, you will never regret taking the step. If it is about money, you will have enough not to be hungry or depend on anybody. In all, you will be happy you made the decision.

It may appear very difficult in the beginning but as you get settled and accustomed to the city, you will find your feet. There are thousands of Nigerians in Sydney who may assist you to navigate the city.

Your visa gives you unlimited hours to work, so you shouldn't have issues while your wife studies.

Education is definitely one of the most sought after occupations due to the dearth of teachers in some regions especially in the country areas. From what those who have assessed with AITSL said, most important criteria for having a positive assessment are getting minimum of 7 in each band of IELTS and your teaching practice year.

Your teaching skill is enough. Read up to identify your assessing authority and read more about the requirements.

You have no Electrical related experience?

I am not following the ITA tracker, so I can't say if 70points will be enough. However, the ICT occupations have been known to require about 75 points to have a good shot.
