I quite agree that the media blew the Sudanese Cris out of proportion making an average shop owner in Melbourne to be scared of Africans. There was a documentary shown on SBS about the roles the media played to negatively feed people about Apex gang which the media claimed is responsible for all the crimes in Melbourne.
The good thing is that Victoria police debunked the existence of any gang and SBS concluded that the apex gang was the evil imagination and creation of the media in Melbourne.

That being said, prejudice and stereotypes are human thing. We all should understand that dominant group will always prejudice against minor groups while they prejudice for their ingroup members.

Psychology research concluded that prejudice in all forms such as racism, tribalism and stereotypes cannot be eliminated as it is part of our existence which I agree completely.

However, you live in a country where your rights will be protected if you fight for it. If you are being racially abused, file charges against the person or organisation. If you believe that a recruitment process is not fair, especially in government settings, you can write for a review of the process.

Switzerland, the Balkans, Nordic part of Europe have the highest form of documented racial discrimination in the world. My advice, if your rights are being trampled on, stand up to whoever is doing it, don't keep quiet.

If a shop owner repeats what happened to you the last time, start a social media smear campaign against the shop. Trust me they will come running to beg you.

Bro, fight for your rights. The shop closing is a policy thing which has its merits.

Yes the person is a student. However, if you have NZ PR, you can't live and work in Australia without appropriate visa. Only NZ citizens have such rights but with Australia PR, you can live and work in NZ.

There is no harm in trying a chemical engineer CDR. The worst that will happen is that you will be given an ET which you are prepared for anyway.

If your current position is chemical engineering related, you should have nothing to worry about. Just use it by adopting a better title to suit the occupation. Most important thing is your job descriptions.

However, you can write your CDR using your final year thesis and year industrial attachment. You can also use from your experience. In essence, you have nothing to worry about.

With 20 points in English, you should bag the ITA. Canada is a nice country but if you get the ITA for Australia, it is better.

I see.. For reasons I don't know, for some occupations, Victoria will not issue nomination with anyone having experience less than 5yrs. I want to believe it is the reason for the rejection.

I am not sure you can be the principal applicant. You will have to go through AHPRA and ANMAC registration first, which is a long rope, before you can starts the process.

If your husband has experience in primary healthcare, he can nominate primary healthcare manager.

Check out these occupations

Primary healthcare manager
Medical administrator
Health and services manager.

You guys should read the job descriptions of each of the occupation and go with the one closest to his experience.

As long as he is not 45, he can still be the principal applicant.

Visa 457 is employer sponsored visa and I don't think they issue 5years. It is either 2years or 4years.

To clear your doubt, check the visa status on VEVO. If it is there, it is genuine.

I have just received an email containing an MS word document of the job description from a company I applied to, my issues here issue here are this.. (1) There's an empty column with the job title at the end "Parole Officer: __ DATE:___", am I suppose to sign off on this? (2) The selection criteria I'm asked to address, am I suppose to do that on the document sent to me?

What is the message of the email? If you have applied already, you can't reapply except you are specifically asked to put in another application.

You can't combine experience from two different occupation. You can only nominate one occupation.

You don't claim experience during assessment.

Yes, the assessing body has the mandate to verify your claim whether you are claiming points or not, your experience will be verified.

There are medical administrator, primary healthcare manager and health/welfare services manager that he can nominate. He should look through the descriptions of these occupations and choose the best that suit him or one closely related to his experience.

Your question is not clear. Template for what? Reference letter or payslip.

Issuing authority is whatever institution or organisation that issued your document.

Vetasses is very much particular about the experience to be in the last 5years. Make sure that the experience you want to assess is within that range. Yes, your qualification will be assessed favourably, it is experience you should work on.

I will suggest you do the Canada Express entry. The only occupation that may likely be close to your experience is customer service manager which is likely a 489 visa.

There is no occupation for banking per se. The closest is the financial institution branch manager which is no longer on the list. I don't know what an immigration lawyer can do to help your case.

Either you do the customer service manager or if you have at least one year experience in estate management, go for the land valuer.
