You stand a better chance with WA, as long as you meet their eligibility requirements.

As for VIC...they are quite picky, true...but someone here got VIC sponsorship. He did have a very good qualifications package though. But hey...yoi can give it a go as well.
Negative.... WA is out of it.

Chemist is on Schedule 2 list, meaning he must have a job offer before being sponsored.
Victoria is still his best bet. He only need to package his CV very well and embellish his job descriptions as the State wants people in research.

For those seeking to get nomination from Northern Territory, one of the requirements is to write a statement on why you chose the state. It is further stated not to copy and paste from websites while writing.
I believe this doesn't mean you should use the internet as a guide but you can't lift everything from the internet without doing a diligent enquiry from people living in Northern territory or state close to it. If you don't know anyone living in Northern Territory, you will need to use someone living in other state as a source of your information.
Yes, you will still have to use the internet for your information but must be intelligently done.
What are the things you can write about?

The weather.... Northern Territory weather is tropical like Nigeria but hotter than Nigeria during summer. Reason why a lot of Australians don't like the state. (get more details online)

Culture... Large population of Aboriginal people in Alice Springs and other parts of the State. If you study the Aboriginal culture deeply, aside the large, their culture is similar to that of Southwestern people in Nigeria. Cultural affinity can be a valid point for moving.

Employment opportunities.... use seek.com.au, indeed, NT government vacancy/job board to look for adverts in your chosen occupation. If there are many positions advertised in the occupation, you use this as evidence that your occupation is in demand in the state.

Family life.. you can talk about the relative calmness of the state for family life.

Standard of living.. compared to some states, it is cheaper to live compared to Melbourne or Sydney (accommodation is not cheap here though)

You can add couple of things to write a convincing statement of intent.

Hello all,

I am trying to get my documents together for assessment, but i have an issue as the company i worked for about 2 years have closed down. How do i go about getting things right in regards to the reference letter or statutory declaration? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks.
Do you have the offer letter from this company?
Do you have payslip and bank statement showing the company paid you?

What occupation are you nominating?
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong(op): 2:51am On Sep 22, 2016
@Florence13,

1. You don't need to show resignation and acceptance letter except they refused to give you reference letter and you have to do a statutory declaration.

2. Yes, you must explain gap on your CV.

Go through the thread, I attached a PDF file from VETASSES somewhere, probably 3-7 pages back, I think there's a special instruction about valuer on the document. Not too sure except you read to confirm.

Good mng to d ogas in d aose, pls wat are the document I need to send to vetassess,i studied industrial chemistry and i want to nominate for chemist,its on CSOL and I av seen that the skill I nominate is available in 2 states, i av gone tru the post and I av been reading about CDR but I Dont know wat it means. Also I am aware that one has to show proof of fund before being nominated, how many months statent of account will I need , or can I use a fix deposit certificate. Pls gurus in da aose see to my post
Your question shows you have not really read the thread and accompanying information.

You need to check the state nominating the occupation for their requirements. Not every state asks for proof fund, only NT and ACT do.

Check ANZSCO descriptions for your nominated occupation to make sure it matches yours.

^^^^^ You can do a court affidavit stating the school made a mistake on your date of birth.
Travel › Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong(op): 12:06pm On Sep 21, 2016
@toslad,

Your brother probably didn't read the ANZSCO job descriptions for the occupation he nominated before getting reference letter and writing his CV.

VETASSES is a pain in the ass, however if a job description doesn't match ANZSCO description for an occupation, no way the person can get a positive description.

What can he do, check his job descriptions, if it match that of ANZSCO, he can appeal. If not, he should nominate another that matches his.

Hello all. I will appreciate a clarification on this. I had my assessment done as suitable by ACS. It was stated that my employment from April 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and ANZSCO Code. However, i was in a particular employment between June 2008 and September 2012. How do i fill this in my EOI?
Fill them as not relevant from 2008 to the point ACS accepted it

For those sending PM and asking general questions already answered here, you are not helping yourself nor being considerate of other people's time.

I wouldn't respond to any PM from henceforth. If you have a question, ask it here, if it is something I believe should be discussed privately, I will send the PM.

I can't help anyone to resolve his/her specific situation or challenge. This is a voluntary service, I can only help you with general counsel. If you want a tailor made solution, then you will pay for the time.

@CottyEkundayo,

I don't think there is anywhere EA asked for certificate. Even if it is required, to whom it may concern letter from the school would have done the trick. What you need is your transcript which doesn't require convocation to collect.

Now you have to pay thousands of dollars for something you can get for less and better.

@Mikol,

Jukeblam gave you an appropriate response. Nothing to add.

@Esty4eva,

I may disagree with VETASSES on equating your bachelor degree to an associate degree but I can't fault them on giving you negative assessment for your work experience.

Your work experience has no correlation with the occupation you chose. ACWA Is the second body assessing the occupation you chose, I am not sure if you can get positive assessment from them because your skills are different from the occupations' description.

I am sorry, I can't help you choose an occupation, that is for you to do.

Guitarlife,

The Professor did not plagiarise your work. What you have explained is not plagiarism.

He is entitled to use the article as being part of the authors, it doesn't matter whether he is the main author or not.

In as much as your name remains in the article, he is acting within his entitlements. It becomes an offence when he completely change the author or ascribe the authorship to himself alone when referencing from it in another article.

You need to calm down and don't let your blood boil.

Just new in this... All I know are the information I read on this platform.
My profession and hers were both included
Are we both meant to do the skill assessment before being able to claim the 5points?
If you read the links, it is explained there. If you want to claim her five points, she must do a skill assessment and write an English test.
It is not worth the stress

Remtol,

Why not use CA?

Some accountants earlier advised it is better. I don't know if you will be positively assessed but if you have all the courses in your transcript, I think you stand a fair chance with the MBA.

also look at engineering technologist, it's on sol and csol, assessed by EA. ur HND and experience as NDT will fly here. As I said earlier use PTE to gather much points as ur HND will give u 10point unlike B.Sc that should give 15point.
Engineering technologist still requires bachelor degree.

@Soopamom,

Starting a master's degree is a waste of money and resources. At least Northern territory sponsors the occupation.

Read the pharmacy council website for assessment requirements. It is pretty straightforward.

You don't need an, agent, you can do it yourself. If however you think you don't have time, you can consider agent.

Migration agents charge between $3000 - $5000 depending on your circumstance and situation.

Let me know if you need an agent.
