nihelimitretep:Very simple, you all should queue on one side of the 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos and wait for the alert to locate you, that's where the network is very active. ![]() |
julibekwe:Smh, someone should help me respond to this young lady, I am 'tayad' |
julibekwe:Hanty, this is not a religious thread. Telling someone who you don't know to shut up also passes as bad character, I hope you know that too. (This log in the eyes deep sha...) |
mosgoon:Please go back to his response to @Jarus and see the number of likes. For the fact that he was open about his opinion does not make it a one person thing. For the records, I didn't like his comment due to the wrong choice of words but there is an iota of truth in it whether we choose to accept it or not. @mosgoon, abeg let's free the case, those that started it have long forgotten about it. |
Gbriels:No quote me oo, I still dey vex for you as you no gree apologize for your wrong choice of words. |
tejiri4:That's why religion is not politics. I need not say more if you cannot understand. |
mosgoon:I wish we could go back in time and set up a parallel response and see how the thread would have panned out. Trust me, I play chess and tend to anticipate at least 3 moves ahead, we wouldn't be discussing @Jarus response now as we would have gone on to discuss other things since he has no info for us. As it stands, it is just my opinion against yours so let's just let it slide. |
tejiri4:Sometimes the wisdom not to tell the truth does not necessarily imply that you are lying. If you are wise enough, you will understand how deep that comment is. Life is not always black and white. There is a whole spectrum of grey in between. |
mosgoon:He responded the way he did, the result is there for you to see 9pages after, we are still discussing it. I rest my case. |
souljar:LOMS! It wasn't me, na Ladyjane dey cause am, haq haq (covering my mouth) |
mosgoon:@bolded, I beg to disagree with your opinion here. On the contrary, it is the way he responded that prompted I and some others to probe further to see if he can still yield a bit and ultimately elicited @Gbriels reaction which he perceived as being 'proud'. See it this way: Scenario 1 A - Oga do you have water to give me? B - Yes, I have water but my Landlady has made me promise not to give anyone but the good news is that water will eventually reach your house Of course, 'A' will start looking for ways to convince 'B' to let him have some water now as he knows that water is available. If 'B' insists that he cannot, an angry 'A' could easily conclude that he is playing god and feeling 'proud' because people depend on him for water. Scenario 2 A - Oga do you have water to give me? B - No, I don't have any water now, I gave you all I had the last time You will agree with me that scenario 2 puts a closure to the issue as no one in his right senses will continue to probe after being told squarely there is none. Rep maintained, Binding agreement maintained, everyone is happy. |
In my honest opinion, @Jarus, I think what @Gbriels was trying to point out was that you briefly suffered the "@mosgoon syndrome" (a tad too much info albeit the truth). "No update" would have simply sufficed as your response to the enquiry (Remember the necessary "white lies" I told you about sometime ago?, it would have come in handy in this situation; that being said, I can now authoritatively confirm that you are not wired that way, no wonder you felt offended then but I advise that you cultivate the habit a little for a bit of balance in any social setting, not everyone likes to hear the "McKinsey" truth) @Gbriels, you could have simply ignored. Your swipes were quite unnecessary. We all know that @Jarus cannot give us APL, that was a rude comment on your part and a slap on the faces of those of us that look forward to getting credible updates w.r.t. this recruitment from him; I am sure you can't deny the fact that you are in this forum primarily to get the same updates otherwise you would have just waited patiently for your SMS and emails without having to come to this forum. Secondly, @Jarus' response was to someone's enquiry and not a public notice, why must you assume that his response was for you and reacted the way you did? It was totally uncalled for. Please if you would hear the voice of reasoning, you owe @Jarus an apology. It won't cost you anything. Thanks in anticipation. |
enoks:I have been vindicated, thanks |
Ladyjane5657:What general did is like all those professional street beggars who strategically monitors when you want to collect your balance after purchasing an item in the market. They walk straight to you as you are about collecting the change to disarm you emotionally, you can't say you don't have any when they obviously saw you collect that N50 change. That sh*t pisses me off like mad. @Generalpatton knows y'all cannot deny not having change after collecting NNPC Tfare, some even collected twice. So no one should tell him "Allah b'amu sah" he knows you got change. |
olaidefat:Uhm! I can argue that 50 can still be considered as "a lot". It is just a matter of perspective. |
DarkShades:When you consider the number of EH supervisor vacancies that was advertised, you should be able to answer your question. |
DarkShades:OK most of the supervisors, are we good now? Please familiarize yourself with the figure of speech "hyperbole" it will save you a lot of stress. |
Ezalb:Wait, you mean you took your time to create another moniker just to come and say this? Your village people must be very strong. Please which village are you from, I wantu check something? |
. |
Ladyjane5657:Much love dear, now I can remove my bullet proof vest and rest easy. |
Odylz:They just finished training all the current supervisors for their new managerial positions. So I can confidently deduce that there are a lot of openings for incoming EH Supervisors at least. |
souljar:This your meme got me cracking, Laff wan kee my village pipu |
ChasteGhuy:Haq Haq Haq (covering my mouth) oops! I hope Jane didn't see this. That geh's character is beginning to rub off on me. |
AnnaLily:NNPC prayed about it, and our accounts appeared on their website. |
Jarus:Issorait, Abeg to all members of AOLMAW, I did my best. From the tone of Jarus' response, he'll have to be killed first before any update can be obtained from him. Based on Jarus' confirmation of good news, I am proposing the well researched "NEXT WEEK THEORY". This is a fail safe theory as it remains constant. How Does it Work? As we adopt the next week theory this week, if by next week, APL still does not come, then " Next week" automatically becomes "This week" and we look forward to another "Next week" until APL arrives. Remember it still remains "latest by September". (Feeling like I have just discovered a cure for AIDS) Signed Chairmanship Aspirant AOLMAW |
Jarus:Dear Jarus, we appreciate that you are a man that keeps his word and wouldn't want to go back on it, we wouldn't want you to do otherwise. I believe I speak on behalf of most people here to plead if you can just give us something to ruminate on e.g. between 16-20, or between 23-27. Let me know if I should go to sleep until 23rd. Local man is tayad of burnt sauces. Thanks on behalf of AOLMAW. |
Easymoneysniper:Last seen, 12:49pm today. Abeg who has kidnapped this young man? I am not advocating for his release, I just want to collect the Biro he borrowed from me, datzall. |
GeniusOla:NL has a way of making people over think things. I am sure if Mele Kyari slips and fall, someone in this forum will say it is a test to know those who will be quick to say "sorry" (empathy test) so that it can help NNPC decide who should get APL. SMH. |
panalyst:Oh I see, thanks |
Ezalb:Good morning, there are signature stamps but you still have to confer authenticity on it by signing on it. Offer letters must bear original signatures esp. for an organization where paper works are still very much the norm. Perhaps I need to be educated further, has anyone in this forum received an offer from a recognized institution without original handwritten signature? In other words you could tell that the signature on your offer was just stamped on it. Please pray tell. @mosgoon your input may be required because I am sure you have seen several offer letters as a new generation whizkid; maybe I am too old school to have realised that things have changed (scratch that, NNPC still operates old school so my point remains valid) |
