People in Ariaria international market Aba, Abia State, today, 4th May 2022, hailed unknown gunmen who staged a broad daylight patrol at the market, IGBERETV reports.

During the display, the gunmen declared a sit-at-home order for the 5th and 6th of May 2022 to boycott President Muhammadu Buhari’s state visit to Ebonyi State.

Judy Austin Muoghalu, who recently welcomed a son with Yul Edochie, has hailed May Yul Edochie, the first wife of the actor, IGBERETV reports.

On Tuesday, April 27, Yul revealed that he welcomed a son with his colleague actress Judy.

A video making rounds online has captured moment a lady with long braids got into "trouble" with a monkey, IGBERETV reports.

In the video, the lady with a sporting floor-length red braids is seen struggling with a monkey who appears to have grabbed a fistful of her braids.

The video starts with the lady battling it out with the little monkey all to no avail. A man who was at the scene eventually got the monkey to let go of the braids.

A 15-year-old boy and his friends were confronted by a concerned adult after they tried to book a hotel room, IGBERETV reports.

The boy arrived at the hotel with two other boys and two girls and tried to get a room.

However, a man confronted him and asked for his age. He revealed that he is 15 and the man continued to question him.

The questions made the teenagers uncomfortable and they left the hotel, with the girls hiding their faces from the man's camera and retreating as he called them to question them.

Gospel singer Osinachi Nwachukwu's mother and twin sister have narrated their experiences with her husband, Peter, IGBERETV has learnt.

The gospel singer's mother told BBC Igbo that Peter allegedly threatened that his late wife would only leave the marriage in death.

She also revealed that she couldn't see her grandchildren for 8 years and was never allowed to come for Omugwo (traditional Igbo custom for postpartum care by the woman's mother).

The distraught mother further disclosed that her daughter's husband who claimed that he's a Pastor separated her from her family. She further revealed that he never allowed her and her children to their house until Pastors intervened, and also pushed them out while she (mother) was sick.

The lady further averred that Osinachi left her marriage for over a year, and only returned after her husband came with Pastors to beg.

According to the singer's mother, she told her a couple of times to leave, but Osinachi insisted on staying, insisting that the Bible frowns at divorce.

She also disclosed that before her daughter died, she and husband went for medical checkup and were told by medical experts that nothing was wrong with her. She however accused Peter of making up claims of his wife being a cancer patient.

The gospel singer's sisters including her twin, also shared painful experiences with Peter. They recounted how he pretended to be a nice person, till he got married to their sister.

They corroborated their mother's claim of not being allowed to do Omugwo for the singer's four children and also claimed that Osinachi was maltreated while pregnant and after child birth.

The singer's twin further disclosed that her sister was in distress when she sang her hit song, "Ekwueme" and that made her cry in the video which went viral afterwards. She added that her husband threatened to separate them and also fulfilled his threat.

They disclosed that Peter is unemployed and allegedly assaulted and extorted their sister repeatedly when she's paid for her song's ministration.

A serial fraudster who has been conning innocent Kenyans and foreigners by posing as a government procurement officer, has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), IgbereTV reports.

Mr David Ambuku alias General who reportedly forges tender documents and local purchase orders before conning his unsuspecting targets, was arrested after jumping into a water tank to hide.

The suspect accused of working with crooked officials in various government ministries, was arrested after conspiring to defraud two merchants Sh47.3 million using forged tender documents for ministries of Interior and Labour.

He is also said to have conned a Chinese investor Sh26 million, posing as a procurement officer at the Ministry of Labour. He also defrauded another investor of over Sh26 million while pretending to be a senior military official at the defence headquarters.

The statement read;

“He almost drowned after plunging into the water tank at the sight of financial investigations detectives, who raided his house at Kimathi estate, along Jogoo road, early today morning. The con, who is a director of Kemoma ventures and several other companies working with crooked officials in government ministries and state departments, secures access to their well furnished offices and boardrooms where he conducts his business unperturbed.

“The serial fraudster with a knack for obtaining millions of shillings from unsuspecting investors without batting an eyelid, has previously posed as a senior military official at defence headquarters and obtained over Sh26 million from a would be investor”

Ambuku has over 10 pending cases and will be arraigned in court on Wednesday March 23, 2022.

The statement added;

“The scammer who has over 10 pending cases in different courts has been engaging detectives in hide and seek games before he was finally cornered this morning.

“He will be arraigned at the Milimani Law courts tomorrow to take plea. Any person who has fallen victim to Ambuku’s machinations is asked to report to thev Economic Crimes unit at DCI headquarters or dial the DCI anonymous toll free number 0800 722 203 to file their report”

Daredevil armed robbers who robbed passengers travelling to Kumasi, Ghana, have told victims to go and make more money as they will stage another attack soon, IgbereTV reports.

It was gathered that the gang made up of seven armed robbers attacked some drivers and passengers around 1:00AM on Monday, March 21, at Assin Endwa in the Assin North District of the Central Region.

According to local media, the robbers who were masked did not only steal valuables from their victims but beat up some of the passengers.

Some of the victims while narrating their ordeal shared that they were told by the armed robbers to go and work extra hard so that they can continue to steal more from them in the next operation.

The victims were robbed of their mobile phones, travelling bags and monies. The armed robbers also took away the keys of about three saloon cars and an articulated truck.

DSP Moses Osakonor, the Assin Praso District Police Commander, who confirmed the incident said the gang blocked the road with a seized articulated truck before carrying out their operation.

Osakonor said that police have launched manhunt for the armed robbers.

It was further gathered that the robbers also attacked Ashantigold football team same place and night after their GPL game against Hearts of Oak.

"We got attacked by armed robbers on our way back from Accra at Assin Endwa. The robbers shot three bullets at the front bulletproof glass as the team driver meandered his way through a terrible scene of gunshots. Gratefully , no individual sustained any injuries. The entire team is currently safe in Obuasi." the club said in a statement.

Meanwhile, people who travel at night are advised to be extra careful and only do so when it's necessary.

The next is accommodation. I used to live in a three bedroom house. The rent was ₦600,000, and I was sharing the apartment with my guys. So that was ₦200,000. Right now, I am paying ₦5.1m.

That’s what makes some housemates depr#ssed. It’s a life-changing event. It changes your reality drastically. So I am paying that and I’ve had to furnish the house. It’s expensive, but it’s not like I can still be living in my father’s house at this age. I can’t fly economy anymore — although I am not the one paying for it. Food is more expensive, too. I can’t eat my Iya Basira and my roadside bole.

But this thing called clothes eh! You return everything back because if you have to buy it, you spend more. The real deal breaker is that once I wear something and take a photo for Instagram, I can’t wear them again anytime soon.

Another thing that takes a lot of money is Airbnb and hotels. When you leave the house, you move into one of those. Every housemate is guilty of this one. Because you are moving around so much—today, you are in Warri; tomorrow, you are in Abuja—you can’t find the time to look for a house.

Sometimes you find a good place but before you pay, someone else has taken it. It got to a point where I paid for a place before I took a good look at it. I had to arrest the guy before I got my money back. That was on Christmas Day!

An army officer has narrated how she almost lost her life after a intimacy gadget got stuck in her vagina, IgbereTV reports.

The army officer identified as @_alashawn2 on Tiktok first joined in the trend where a user shows themselves and then “the thing that almost killed” them. For her video, this included a clip of her vibrator before showing her in the hospital.

The army officer, who claims to have been stationed away from home for almost a year, was filmed lying in a hospital bed after a self-love session with a lavender-coloured v!brator went h0rribly wrong.
