FreeStuffsNG:If you cannot come to be interrogated by journalist who are mouth peace of Nigeria, but you preferred to go to where you will tell lies, and zombies their clap for you without asking question, you claimed that your party will bring change without asking with what type of change, we are wiser now, we want to know how you are going to deliver your promises and you running away, we will tell you that no debate no vote Mr. emilokan. |
If not because of our corrupt government official, how would you agree to monopoly of multi choice, when you know it is not own by government of Nigeria. That is why they do not allow TSTV to have root in Nigeria. So that they can continue to cheat the consumers, what surprise me was that in all previous world cup, NTA normally showed all the matches, but since this old man, Layi Muhammed came on board, we have not enjoy anything good from the station except his lies. God will park their government from Nigeria in the next election. |
A very good move, Almighty God Wii open the eyes of Western nation to abandon this abomination, and help them to genuinely accept Jesus Christ into their lives. |
Why is it that only the ruling party is complaining. Even if their is no network in few villages, provision can be made, or when the electoral officers get to where there is network, the result will immediately be transmitted to the serval like when message is sent through hand set and there is no network, when ever some one reach where network is available the message go or be received. Alternately, electorate in those areas can be moved to a nearby village with network by the local government chairman, after all nearly all Borno State electorate were moved to Maiduguri, to vote during last elections. It is now that our politicians are advocating for rural areas, when they failed to provide them with water and health facilities, no advocacy for them, its when it touches their interest, that is when they remember them, yeye people. |
It will not affect them, because when he Atiku and other 5 governors of PDP defected to APC it did not affected PDP in 2015 election, for they won the election convincingly after their defection, the story will repeat itself. |
I have said it before now in this forum that Pa Adebanjo represent the interest of Yorubas, the emilokan represents self centre and wickedness. It is only in Nigeria that a region with economic power will be suppressed, by a region without economic power, this is what makes USA great above others nations and some states there above others not the number of people there. if a region is actually populated, why not seen the impact of that population even in the level of personal income tax or VAT, which is based on population. We all know that some regions are just be allocated with high population without any to justify it. That why when someone was about to be appointed NPC chairman, they fought it because they felt it will open what they are hiding, and the man was replaced, the south is nowhere to fight this and this is the origin of high population there. |
Vello:Are you a Yoruba man? If you are, I doubt your genuineness, because we Yorubas we have respect to our elders, this is our trade mark. But for you to abuse an elderly man because of disagreement with him on political issue speaks volume of whom you are. |
Baba we the reasonable Yorubas who are not being blind folded by ethnic sentiment are solidly behind you as our father whom we looked up to for right direction. If you want to corrupt yourself baba, I know these people have stole enough to achieve that, but thank God for integrity and uncompromising stance. God grants you long life to continue to lead Yorubas in the in the right path all the time. |
Our government never accept failure, they always find whom to blame, if the government that has both moral and cohesive power, are blaming unemployment for their failure, what are the army, police, navy, air force, custom, DSS and other security agencies doing that they can not protect our internal resource, then if it is external aggressor, what would they do, this make me to conclude that thieves cannot catch thieves. |
Sorry to say this, Atiku and Tinubu must be ruled out of this contest. On atiku, as governor Wike asked, is it now he realise this? Why can't him challenge the fellow Fulani man when he was doing this? Secondly Nigeria is having about 300 ethnic nationalities, why must Fulani ruled for ,16 year continually. They all have the same agenda, to make other regions second class citizen, that is why they felt they can hold on to power unchallenged, atiku' s own will be worst, someone who has not assumed power, but have already started marginalising, the southern part, what we happen, when he finally assume power, God forbid that we will still serve another Fulani man. Also to tell you what he is capable of doing, when only one person of his tribe posted that they not vote for him about what he tweeted, he quickly deleted the message about Deborah' s murder. Is that person that we now start deceiving us. Thank you Wike and other 4 governors, you are fighting for close to other 300 ethnic groups. Also on tinubu, when all this people occupied all positions in this country from, security, income generation agencies, custom, etc. Tinubu that brought him up from retirement, and fought to rescue power kept mute. Now they have showed him that Nigeria belong to them, see the way they are now defecting to vote their tribe, while he sold out his own tribe during the reign of supreme tribe. Let tinubu knows that Nigeria is not turn by turn, but ensuring justice, equity and fairness to all, which is not found in the dictionary of the people he brought to power. |
Mermaid123:It has been stated in the comment section that there is no justification for sin whether man or woman. Please no one should be proud of being sinning. Because, we can only determine the magnitude of our sins, we are not in a position to determine the extent of the punishment to be melted out. If we have problems as a Christian, we should hope on God, who will surely see us through. If the woman has faithfully call on God and waited patiently for His divine intervention, He would made them to overcome. He told us to cast our burden upon Him, because He cares for us, I Peter 5;7. |
festacman:Please on professorial award, let it be known to that at that level, no matter what you know, the willingness to award you stand out, as Prof Osuji has said, he can keep his papers in KIV without sending it out and there is nothing Soludo could do, so don't bring the idea to he was a brilliant student in school or first class material, Soludo himself knows this. |
Why can't we eliminate this people from market, and ensure that all foreign exchange transactions must be conducted through the money deposit banks, with proper record of who gets what. This will minimise the problem, but in a situation whereby someone will walk into a black market with billions of naira and exchange it for millions of dollars without identity gives room for malpractices. |
My concern is not about removal of subsidy or not, my concerned is why is that when any Nigeria leaders failed in their responsibility, it is common man that will bear the burden of their inactions. Firstly, if for the past seven years, the government sets up new refinery as promised by this government in 2015, we not be talking of this now, secondly, everybody know that corruption is deeply rooted in subsidy regime, which was confirmed by minister of state for petroleum, CG customs who publicly challenged NNPC that, why are they claimed to supply 100 million litres when we consume about 60 million, also former CBN governor poses a question in public that are we drinking petrol? that they claimed we consumed about 60 million litres? In all these, no official of NNPC was brought to book for this scam neither were they relived of their positions. Even those who failed to remote money collected on behalf of government were not arrested. Then the only benefit that people they claimed they are representing enjoy, which is subsidy is about to be taken away so that there will be money for them to be embezzled, God will surely deliver poor mercies for their hands. |
If people claimed that poverty level increased during his reign, it may be due to the fact that he did not open the purse of the state for people to steal. This situation was experience when late Mamman Ali of Yobe state came to power, where people were shouting that there is hardship because the governor tighten the purse of the State, unlike his predecessor that it for all to steal, but the physical development that has never been experienced were visible during this time. The questions are; are there physical development or not? Are there prudence in the management of resources or not? Did he accumulated debt for the state or left 75 billion naira or not? During Obi's tenure, the height in which no governor in Nigeria has attained, leaven such huge amount of money for successor, even emilokan cannot boost of that. Other parties are trying to cover their dark spot of their candidate, even a person whom his immediate boss claimed that what he stole what can sustain some generations, non of his kinsmen mention it and in official circle, the assessment of your immediate boss is adjudge to be the most object one, but yet it was not magnified. Even the parameter used by NBS may not be different for the fact that stealing and free money is no more be in circulation during his tenure. Mr governor, tell me a state governor that has a presidential candidate for his state that dig up past record to bring him down except you Soludo. |
The issue at hand goes beyond this selective investigation by anti corruption agencies; ICPC AND EFCC, all top elective and appointed leaders, both at state and federal levels, likewise all directors and permanent secretaries. If EFCC faced elected and appointed leaders, ICPC should then face all top civil servants. Not a situation whereby when you have the backing of presidency no one would investigate you much less of prosecuting you. Very one must be subjected to investigation and prosecution. |
This is the same customs service that has closed southern borders and refused to permit even legitimate business, but has allowed illegal smuggling to continue unabated at northern side, how I expect all the southern officers to be courageous enough to continue to expose this injustice. Also all southern state governments should prepare accommodate those officers who are sincere and persecuted at federal level because of this. |
Fulani man should not transfer power to another Fulani man, Nigeria is multi- ethnic country. Then where IBB when he Atiku and other northern PDP members broke away in 2015 and leave Jonathan in the party, why can't he broke peace at that time and return them to the party. Or is it because they want to return another Fulani man into ask rock, that is why all these efforts are being made. It will not work, affliction should not return the second time. |
[quote author=savcy post=118295661]If oil is the principal exchange commodity of the country, and the assumption is that the value of our currency is tied to the price per barrel of oil, how come the Naira plummets in value arbitrarily, and without explanation, all when the price of oil is high? What sort of economy are we operating? A country that celebrates BLACK MARKET fx rates to the detriment of her OFFICIAL fx rates cannot be taken seriously. We're still joking with our fiscal policy with the BDCs still around. Redesign notes, raid BDC offices... All will amount to nothing on the long run. When all is said and done, and the dust settles the hydra headed demon called the BDCs would again rear up their ugly head and wreak financial havoc. Jokers![/quote Its the official policy that makes this dubious policy boom. Former CBN Governor has affirmed that by mere having connection, you can make billions on Naira without offering anything into the market, just by procure Dollars and take it to black market and sell, not only this the policy gives our political elites the opportunity to launder money with ease, because black market operators have no record of their transaction. Until transaction of BDEs is subjected to what is obtained in POS operations which uses bank accounts of their clients for their transactions, government cannot monitor them. A situation where people we just come and exchange million of Dollars without trace we make black market to be the choice of money launderers. |
Nonexisting1:Please let us not misquote the Bible and mislead the people, Bible does not support divorce or polygamy. Jesus told us Matthew 5;32 and Matthew 19;9 whosoever divorce and marry another spouse committed adultery. Then Jesus answered them further that this can only take place when formication is involved, and this means that before the consummation of marriage, because fornication is a sin between two unmarried male and female. We see this when Joseph wanted to divorce Mary the mother of Jesus, due to pregnancy found with her; Matthew 1; 18-20. Jesus also clarifies their misconception about letter of divorce Moses permitted them to issue, by saying it is because of their hardness of heart, that was why Moses say so; Matthew 19;7-8. We all know that Moses is not our perfect example but Jesus Christ. |
My problem with some of us in this forum that are saying the north will not accept. Does that mean that we have made the north to be superior to the south? Or a tribe to dominate about other 300 tribes? Let us leave this nonsense and face the reality, Nigeria belong to us all, and inability to make all tribes equal will always lead to agitation. After all, those who claimed to be superior do not have anything to show for it, and in an ideal situation, those with economic power must dictate the pace. |
In as much am not a fan of EFCC, for their selective prosecution, because all past presidents including military ones, all past governors, service chiefs, ministers, past and present directors and permanent secretaries at federal level should all be investigated, anything short of this is injustice. Now back to the judgement, can retired officer prove that the money and the car is procured out his legitimate income. Nigerian should judge this. |
Because he has many skeleton in his cupboard that it why he is shying away from interrogation. We will not allow what happen in 2015 to happen again, where a presidential candidate was running away from debate, even after winning the election he also failed to speak to Nigerians except through his aids, that will not happen again. No debate note vote, simple. |
Let emilokan and his men continue to be arrogant, if they have any programme, they would have been happy to present at any media, in as much as some electorate are viewers, but they claimed it is local therefore, their candidate can't go there. They failed to know that pride goes before destruction. They are seeking appointment but don't want to attend job interview. They have nothing to offer that is the basic truth. |
All BDE should be completely banned, or all their transaction be linked to a bank, where proper monitoring of their transaction should be conducted like that of POS operators. In a situation where someone have connection to CBN and collect millions of Dollars to then exchange it with naira to pocket millions of naira as gain is killing our economy. Also proper record of the buyer must be revealed, with the purpose of buying. |
They rely on bullion van to buy their way in, but one thing is sure, anyone God will disgrace will be filled with the spirit of arrogance, they will sure be disappointed, with their ill- gotten money. |
One thing I failed to understand about this government is who is the leader in this government? Because leader always gives focus and direction to the organisation they lead, who is labour minister, a mere B. Sc. holder given directives that Professors should not be paid. Is he the minister of education? Why must the accountant general obey his order, is the office of accountant general under the supervision of labour minister, I think the president should wake up and take the responsibility of his office, because we did not vote for any minister, in future no one will mention the name of any other person for any lapses of this government, except Mr. President's name |
In as much I support this action, EFCC would have done this country good the more if they can extend their tentacle to all past governors and there deputies, all former senators, president and their deputes, all supreme justices, all directors and permanent secretaries present and past, all former service chiefs all heads of federal higher institutions. What did ekweremadu have done that Lawan the senate president have not done? Then what is the justification to forfeit ekweremadu property and leave that of Lawan and Bukola Saraki. Let all be investigate and any one that is clean be acquitted. Selective prosecution goes against principle of equity and justice, EFCC please take note of this. |
AbuAeesha:Why is the same government paying NNPC staffs who have not done anything in the past 10 years, is it not the same government that says no work on pay, paying them? Don't you know that attending meeting called by government and other matters is part of their jobs. Or because they don't want to pay them that is why they allow the strike to linger for 8 months, setting up committee upon committee and rejected all the agreement reached, since they know they won't accept their recommendations why did they set them up in the first instance. |
I think igige is doing all these to cause down fall of APC, that is why the minister of education admitted that he failed as the minister of education. To me the minister did not fail, because no one voted for him, it is the president we voted for that failed us and his party as a whole. All genuine citizens of this country should please open our eyes and interrogate those seeking political offices to know their plans, the person that is avoiding public interrogation and scrutiny should not be trusted with power, because one them refused to be scrutinised even when a public challenge was throw at him by a media house. |
If 70% of Lagos income is from tax, it tell us that Lagos has been place under heavy yoke of taxes, ranging from from bus drivers to other citizens. This is what has make Lagos State unpopular among her citizens, can imagine that in Lagos some traffic penalty of the forfeiture of your vehicle, and yet someone be proud that they increase internally generated revenue from just less than a billion to hundred of billions, and in actual fact some of this money is going back to them in form of the so call consultancy fees. |
Since it is object of law, his assurance is less important. Apart from this, the electorate should not rely on all these, but to hold INEC responsible for anything short free and fair election, because they are independent body, not subject to any directive from the presidency. As peace committee are making the political actors to sign peace pact. They should make INEC to ensure free and fair elections, because without justice there will be no peace. |
