What surprise me is that all the policy they first initiated to fight corruption, like whistle blower, single treasury account, zero budgeting etc were all abandoned to give room massive looting. The most painful thing was that after looting our purse dry and there is nothing to loot, they resulted into borrowing which put our unborn generation into avoidable debt. |
In as much as no one intend to break the country, the behavior of born to rule mentality is what is naturally dividing the country. Can one immerging a situation under the current dispensation that, in a federal establishment like nnpc and now, top 20 positions is occupied by one section of the country, even without a cup of oil found in their soil, the same goes with military and other para- military organization. If the reverse has been the case heaven might nearly fall. I could have want the governor to concentrate more on injustice and inequality in our country, this is what gives birth to separatists. This is what Wike is trying to fight in pdp, because if the current arrangement in pdp stands, southern Nigerian will be marginalised more than what we have recently. |
Amperes:This is the irony of life, they said it is a scam, they are now spending more than 1000% of what was spent then, now he was so arrogant to tell us that our protest will not stop it, as God lives you will never smell that seat. Your party has been so arrogant to Nigeria electorate, you do what please you at the expense of masses, you increase tax at will, power cost unbearable even with the subsidy. Now if your argument is that fuel is being taken to neighboring countries, is it not your government in charge of custom, if our fuel is being taken out, why cant all the senior custom officers sacked. What are the duties of immigration, navy, army, police that they cannot get these smugglers arrested. So it is the masses that we bear the incompetence of the elected leaders, what happen to the truck that was arrested in Adamawa border, instead of punishing the smuggler, it is the poor officer who is patriotic that was arrested. That tells us that it is our elected leaders that are behind it. So emilokan, go and stop them from smuggling our fuel out instead of making our lives more miserable, because increase in fuel price has bad wagon effect on general price level. |
If not for foolishness, how would a reasonable person close the border when there is no capacity to meet local demand, simple knowledge of economics tells us that the price will definitely increase. Is Layi Mohammed trying to extend the tenure of the government he was speaking for? If not, why is he trying to be busy body in another person's matter concerning what incoming government plan to achieve, afterwards all what they promised, they failed to achieve even a single one, they only claimed they have achieved, it is not evident. All the world bank report, nbs reports, inflation figure, insecurity being increased, hunger in the land etc, are all visible on the faces of Nigerians, that old and lying man should go and sit down. |
Nigeria can no longer entrust her wealth to an unfaithful person, we will continue to reject you at poll as long as you stand for election. Someone who cannot respect his boss as a deputy, how can he respect ordinary electorate if he wins. |
We left what we suppose to do and start beating about the bush. Does that mean that those that engaged in corruption lack knowledge of it. Even the agencies that are established for it is where the corruption seated. If they want to employ now as an anti corruption agencies, you will see corruption at the highest order, or they think corruption is about money alone. Apart from this, the inability to punish offenders is the major motivation for corruption to strive, people are not being punish for it, they only prosecute those who are in the black book of the power that be, take for instance, Doyin Okupe was found guilty, but many people were involved in the crime, were not touched, even the distributor of the money was not prosecuted, in fact what the man collected was a peanut compare to others, Why was he single out among many, not only this, preventive measures put in place to fight it are completely neglected by regulatory agencies like CBN, Nigeria Financial Intelligent Agency and other. These are the people with power to check all these financial fraud they are always sleeping on duty. This is what makes them to start fighting CBN Governor because it will check mate their fraudulent activities. I was surprised that this people are fighting for cow business, these are the people that when they are deny education, health care, good roads, portable water etc, they do not fight for them, it is when a policy is about to touch and block their corrupt activities that they now know that one cow rearer is somewhere who will find it difficult to sell their cows, let them direct banks to be stationed in those markets to do the necessary transfer and also establish functional pos for them, corruption must be tamed in our country if we are to make any head way, not by include it in our curriculum in primary school. |
The reason the man went to court is not yet clear, even in 2019 election he did not win, it is inconclusive ojoro that gave him the mandate. So why heading to court when the right winner was not deny his mandate this time around. |
[quote author=Obaofaba post=119317904]Jagaban will help your life Stop trolling, tell me what your Pandora has done and let's start from there. My candidate built Lagos and it's people. He built institutions Power, a state government ooo Roads Rails Security Economy Transportation Agriculture Investment Jobs Predecessors Wealths for the state Healthcare Education I'm tired sef cos it's just countless all in 8 years. If you are ascribing the success and failures of Buhari to the Jagaban, kindly ascribe the success of Fashola, Tinubu and Ambode to him too. There is no need to ascribe their success to him again, he has been claiming all what they achieved already. He must also be blamed for the failure because he was the one making all the promises at the campaign ground, only for the man to tell us that they said were rubbish during the campaign. Now promising us that he is going to eliminate poverty, did he do that in Lagos, the person that put Lagosians under heavy burden of tax when he was governor that aggravated their poverty level cannot be trusted with this kind of promise. This is what we know APC government for, they increased VAT from 5% to 7%, increase petrol price, 85 to 290 naira now, electricity price from 23 naira to nearly 60 naira, they are still planning to introduce tuition in federal university, with all these, they cannot even generate money into federation account. He is now coming with another fake promise, affliction must not come again in this country. |
danietohbadt:I totally greed with you. Emilokan has brought too mush hardship on us in Southwest, by taken over our zone by their pain inflicted party. When our zone are under a different party, there was nothing like owning salary or half salary, it is their evil party that brought this on us. Look at Oyo state that got it right in 2019 election, their loving governor came out to say that before 31st December, the civil servant will receive 13th month salary, and some with emilokan party are owning, are they not receive allocation from the same source? We should vote wise in 2023. |
gloryman91:You are insulting the anointed man of God, judgement of God is await you for this. |
May be he was one of the fake bishop rented during the unveiling of shetima as VP. The so called bishop was sleeping that time to lend his voice, he might be heavily paid for this, because their trade in stock is using ill gotten money to bribe everyone to their side. But God will disappoint them with their money. Baba Oyedepo please ride on, it is only those who not in their right mind or are part of the government that have stolen our resources that will still be advocate of the party that promise heaven and earth but failed in all expect of governance, including inability to generate revenue for itself, and resulted into plunging the unborn generation into huge debt, is any sane Nigeria should contemplating of vote them? |
Our northern chief executives will not emulate this, theirs is to multiply wives and children, they will claimed it is the religion that permits them, but this lies is now been busted by Niger President who declared that the Arab world which is their role model do not doing that. Or did they do this to dominate southern region who has embraced birth control for good quality of life. This law should be enforced in Nigeria also. |
HNICEARTH:This is the same question I am asking, why not rescue Nigerians that has been held captive, for months including our school children, God saves us in this country from our unpatriotic leaders that we have. |
When a news paper wrote about him sometimes ago, he also petitioned the IGP, why is he now complaining that Makinde petitioned DSS, or he want him to send thugs to him to deal with him about his false allegation, Makinde is law abiding governor who cannot do that. I what to assure him that thousands of Ishaq Akintola cannot destabilise Oyo state, both Christian and Muslim are one family in Oyo State. |
Aufbauh:Mr. man, this the person and his party that told us what they will achieve if voted into office, but he failed to achieve even a single one. They promised to end insurgency with 3-6 months, but after more then 7 years they are still their. They claimed petrol subsidy is a scam, but we moved from paying of subsidy on 35 million liters to 100 million liters, even when Nigerians cannot even feed themselves much less of buying more cars. Electricity not available, corruption on the increase to the extend that income generation agencies under the watch of mr. President now generating money to themselves, which makes even NNPC which is cash cow of our nation cannot generate a single naira to the federation account since the beginning of this year. On economy, a bag of rice when he assumed office was 8,000 naira, but today it is moving towards 40,000 naira, petrol was 85 naira when he came in but now it is moving to 300 naira and above, and are the essential items that sustain common man. The list is endless. Now we are demanding for what he promised us before election and after given him the mandate to use all governmental power to achieve these goals, he now come to tell us that he tried his best, is total failure on mandate given to him. |
This revealed the caliber of people behind the smuggling of our petrol. God will surely vindicate him. |
Does it means that only Muslim vote will also make one to win the presidential election? Do not let us think that one religion is higher than other, we should try to unite as a country, because religion is a personal, not to brought to political affair. |
All this officers that are messing up in their duty is persisted because their is no sanction. The time as ripe for them to be shown the way out of public service to serve as deterrent to other. Without this, this evil will continue. |
This is a complete act of sabotage, they don't want online processing, they preferred manual process where corruption will strive. The head of custom and all officers in IT department should be suspended. Also the contractor who handles the contract should be blacklisted. This is only thing that will check any act of sabotage, but in a situation where the perpetrations are not shown the way out of establishment, the corruption will continue. |
God deliver the mercies from the wicked top government officials and politicians. This revelation is a small one, when this government leaves power, God will expose them the more. Meanwhile, when are they going to investigate humanitarian affairs ministry who claimed they are using nearly one billion naira to daily to feed students in their homes during covid 19 pandemic. We are patiently waiting, God will catch them all. |
In Nigeria DSS has become the minister of petroleum and commander in chief that are issuing directive to NNPC and marketers. The masses should take back our country from these clueless leaders who are not concern about our plight. |
Seyi where were you all these years, you have never donate to any victim, it is when your father is contesting that your eyes is open to donate to the victim of flood. The time of hypocrite and deceiver like you in this country is over. Your father only know how to bring in bullion van on election period. God will disappoint all those selfish leaders and choose for us leaders who genuinely love the masses and care for them. |
Our government officials and appointees have turned government money to their personal and family money, and the reason is what is happing now; no accountability, no punishment to serve as a deterrent. So they are bound to behave the way they like. Not only withdraw their allocation is the solution, outrightly demand their removal is the best solution. But sometimes National Assembly members are not sincere, about two weeks ago, we heard about budget padding in some ministries, only to hear last week that they have been cleared. How did they get the clearance, the allegations were made in public, then the clearance through back door. This are the things the make them to shun them and take them as empty barren that makes loudest noise. |
tolue42:I hope those professional media are the one that are going to vote emilokan. The local media are the one that know the terrain of our politicians, they know their lies, so they refused to face them to know their mind for local people they represent, I think he needs to go their and be voted for also. After all that is where they go when they sick, so let them also be voted for over there. |
YThe man is talking to his governor, I don't see any offence with this, we have seen a situation where a serving top security officer went and welcome a presidential candidate, and nothing happen to him. So leave CJN alone. |
Nigeria cannot afford another dummy president, who is intellectual deficient to tackle Nigeria problems. If someone cannot answer simple questions about his political agenda for Nigeria, how would such a leader able to provide answers to numerous problems confronting our nation. We don't want a president we can't hear, who be speaking to us through the media aids or other appointees. |
harqinhola:You are either faking your identity or you have been bribed to say the above. If you try it the other way, you would have know that Christian are tolerant, but our tolerant does not implied that we are stupid, that is why Christians would not vote anyone that take us for granted. Even with government that has v.p. see the way Christians as a whole and southerners in particular are suffering marginalisation; 20 top NNPC management are all northern Muslim, nearly 20 NPA management also experiencing the same. Nearly all security agencies top echelon are all northern Muslim, for the first, federal civil service commission is having both the chairman and secretary from northern Muslim, the count is endless, with all this that has been experienced by Christians, someone now saying they do not care about muslim- muslin ticket. |
unmask:I totally agreed with the above, the contractor should also be imprisoned, or have his licence withdrawn, because if he succeeded he would have denied other contractors fair bidden and also inflated the cost, that is why he too should be prosecuted. Human right organisations please over to you, because those that give and those that take bribe are all guilty. |
On earth, there is no excuse for failure, if you fail honorably admit that you failed on your promises, it is this government that blame others for their failure. Secondly, state government you blaming are not responsible for economic direction of our nation it is you. Thirdly, no visibly economic team, every minister takes decision that suit their pocket, that is VAT was increased by 50% they did not know that the consequences is poverty for the people, like every services provided by this government were also increased by at 50%, these include; electricity, gas. Fuel, diesel, custom duties, banning importation of rice when we can't produce what we need locally. All the above mentioned policy and others, has taken away citizens real income thereby subjected us to poverty. |
Ofunaofu:If instructional materials and teachers are not yet available, why is it that the government rushing to the media to announce the policy. Why didn't they wait until they provide them announce it. They just want to distrust our education system. In a state that has about 3-4 languages, which one are they going to chose, or if they are to go by them all, does that means that different instructional materials will be developed within a State? |
SpecialAdviser:I totally agree with you, that is a big shame on our so called African leaders, can Joe Biden of USA feel happy that his son did not represent his country? That is why many of them should not be regarded as a true leader. It is a disgrace to him as a sitting president, I even heard that he is going to collect 2000 Dollars per day for this journey, what a waste of tax payers money. |
They know why they are doing this, they want to spoil our Christmas celebration, and any that don't want the joy of others, joy will be an elusive thing in his life and family. |
