benqo01:That is basic fact, the two media houses are own by Yoruba, but we are omoluabis, that is why our selfless leaders endorsed Obi. Naturally Yoruba man would have been their option. We should not forget that Gani Fawehinmi of blessed memory was the one that took Shonekan interim government to court as an illegal government, and court obliged him. Yorubas are known for justice and equity, not because one of their tribe man is beneficiary. |
If the past two NLC presidents were up and doing, we will not be in this mess, but how would Waba fight for masses, when he was fingered in estate bribe from government. Thank God we now have NLC president who are on the side of masses, God will definitely deliver his people from these wicked people who called themselves as our leader. |
It would been accepted if this statement comes when Muslim Muslim ticked issue was at pick, when oro was being paraded at Lagos street in day light, when town criers are moving from street to street warning people not to come out if they we not vote your party, when they were in hast to announce you as president and your governors and dragging foot when opposition party won, even until a party went and held inec officials hostage in their office before announcing the result, if this message came at that time it would have been acceptable. But now the star of healing process is to return the stolen mandate first anything less of this is unacceptable. |
But you people claimed Lagos is the centre of excellent, so if other state failed in this regard, we expect the centre of excellent to get it excellently well. On the reason people came to Lagos, you people have forgotten this people are the one that made Lagos, they pay high taxes, that make them raking nearly hundred billion naira every month, they were not asked to go back then. Dubai is popular to day because they open doors for other to come in likewise may big cities in the world. So Lagos is not am exception. This what makes someone to seat on this taxes in Lagos and refused to leave. |
Moh247:I don't understand why some people do not reason reasonably, they said a contestant in an election is was given sensitive and secret documents relating to the election to produce, you are now taking of having party, is having a party we are talking about or being a contestant. |
OneCandleAway:You are correct, I have three nephew who schooled in Lagos and University of Ife they never traveled abroad, yet non of them can speak the Language, it is not peculiar to the candidate alone, it the fault of Yoruba parents generally, and I think in trying to preserve our Language from extinction, that is why Lagos State government make the study of the language compulsory at junior secondary school level. But I still think this may not solve the problem, because how many students applied to study Yoruba language at higher institutions? Or even if such a student is determine to study it, how many parents are ready and willing to sponsor their children to study Yoruba, unless their is deliberate action on government to motivate students to study it. So please don't pass the blame to the young man. |
Mylove55:Some people like you behave as you are a fool, you are asking how head of ICT department can rig, you are completely living in analog time, the reason he can rig is what make us not to view the result in real time, and give wrong code to those who may want to transmit it. |
OneCandleAway:I support your assertion, a corrupt person cannot fight corruption, all the wealth he amassed can he tell us the source? Such kind of mind cannot fight it, even if he want, his conscience wouldn't allow him. |
Ofunaofu:Totally in agreement with you, the preelection opinion polls were 100% correct, it was INEC that shifted the goal post when the match was on, that gave the fake victory. The whole world did not recognise even the so called victory. My problem is that despite INEC admission that some of their staff compromised, some people still saying it is not enough to council the election, but failure to use BVAS and electronic transfer of result is the only difference in this election and previous elections, that make people assumed that our vote would count, so if solid foundation of anything is faulty, anything build on it must not also stand. |
mycar:Totally agreed with, it is INEC that gives room for all these speculations because on non compliance with law and their own rules with scanning and transmitting the result from polling unit. Also, why is that APC has become the spoke person of INEC, to extend that when people raised any issue they are the one to respond, which they have not been doing before the election. |
Dear Bishop, your peace commission is one sided, you asked the politicians to sign peace accord, to ensure peace, but failed to compel INEC to be impartial. Have you forgot that where there is injustice peace will disappear. So nest time ask INEC to sign an undertaking that they will conduct free and fair election, without this peace can't be guarantee. |
mannobi:But those made Muslim Muslim an ideal is not bigot, but secular abi, and heir supporter are claiming this is not dividend of democracy, but a jihad, and don't blame you do not understand the language they spoke, that is why you are saying this. Let all forget religion in our governance and have better Nigeria. |
menstrualpad:If you have been to a university, and happen to offer any course in philosophy dept, you won't write this nonsense. |
mastermaestro:If that is the case above, why INEC chairman urging and the party that claimed to have advocating that they should go to court not the street, if the court behaved the way you have concluded, what then do you think will happen, that is why they said that thief that send they should take him to court knows the his senior brother is the judge, think about this. |
jaxxy:I totally agree with you, this is the only aspect of the judgement that is anti people. The aspect of limit in Withdrawer does not mean you can't spend your money, it only put limit to your cash expenditure, you can spend any amount through banking process, the court is erred on this, because the judges are not financial experts who should shape our economy on certain decisions, or do any one dictates to them how to interpret the law. This is an act of taking over CBN functions, that is why their judgement sometimes are not obeyed. Constitutional responsibility of CBN is currency management, why any judge take over that role, or may be it will affect those who come to bribe them with billions of naira, because they will not be able to withdraw such, and bank process will expose them. This policy is meant to check corruption. |
ResidentSnitch:We want him to fulfil this statement, by tomorrow morning, let him approach the court that he want to inspect the material used for the election. After this election have you see any INEC top official appear in any TV station, to tell Nigerians what really happened? This is what is called guilty conscience. |
APC has now become the spoke person for INEC, they are the one who knew who hack the serval. The game is just began. |
wallay77:Selling Obi is not the issue, why not transmit the result in real time, let every one see, so that losers we see it for themselves. But using back door to collate fake result, which goes against the law and INEC procedure is the issue here. |
crossbreedwears:How I wish our courts we live up to expectation, because those who can bribe INEC staff are still banking on bribing judges to have their ways. That is why all of them are shouting go to court, they have forgetting that this is not about election alone, but constitutional matters, but due to lack of confidence in our courts, that is why when robbers are caught, they met out jungle justice on them. The challenge is now for our judges to do justice, so that one will not commit crime and still be bold to tell the accusers to go to court, knowing full well that they will escape the crime committed through court process. |
Faiththatworks:Which majority, 8 million as against 13 million, is that a majority? |
senatordave1:I don't know why you are not objective in your contribution, how can you transmit result from polling unit without electronic transmission. INEC itself stated categorically in support of this, defended it by the chairman himself, provide instrument to achieve this, BVAS, anything outside this is pure manipulation, any one that will win must achieve this under transparent manner. |
Gizer:You talking that party agents having the result, the question is how many party agents were allowed to the collation centres? many of them were driven out and do not have access to the result from the centres. What would have made all to have it was compromised by INEC itself, by not scan it and transfer it electronically at the polling units. |
I wander why security agencies, particularly the police can not tell INEC, to be law abiding, but can come to the aggrieved people to be law abiding. If the election was transparent, no one will feel cheated, but because they failed in their promise to Nigerian and the entire world, by not working to law, that is why there is treat to peace, but they say prevention is better than cure. We expect the INEC, to recover the money spent to transmit the result from the company and give Nigerians the detail of that company so that we can blackmail them and have nothing to do with that company. |
0monnak0da:Please let us always been sincere in our comment, how would you expect that they will announce the result of 24 million without break down, haba, let us write with some common sense. |
In all these, it is INEC that is guilty, because they do not play the gave according to rules, they deliberately short the door against result transmission that has led to this. This is the second time of doing this, in 2019, after opening serval and promised that result will be viewed through it, they came back and said that they don't have any serval, now this time they cannot deny it because it a creation of law, but deliberately short it down, claiming technical problem, which problem that cannot be solved within some hours, not only this, they failed to tell Nigerians until people started agitating. All this make people suspicious of INEC neutrality. |
Sowore, you are Yoruba, but you lack the type of training the Yorubas normally give to their children, how would you speak to elders like that. |
This is the kind of mentality that make our elected leaders feel they are superior to us, for God's sake, how would a president suppose to sit? The person that posed this needs his head examined. |
Kayamo, the food don't finish in Buhari's table, it is now time to criticise him and to jump to another table for more food. Thank you for where you have brought Nigeria to, the time of pay back has reached, and God will fully pay you back for all suffering you people subjected us to. |
Can you imaging what are security agencies are doing to themselves. If it is civilians that do this, we will say they don't understand the law. |
Savedday2:The above is the truth of the matter, when the supreme court has made their judgement for the highest bidder. Look at the above instances, the INEC came tender result, then, someone who is not officially recognised by law in election matter, tender other one, which is full of errors, that even if INEC itself tender it, it cannot stand in legal eye, but yet they upturned the election base on this. On that of SP, the person who did not contest the primary was declared winner, leaving the one that contested and won. INEC also claim they did not supervise the primary that SP claim he won, and any primary not supervised by them is not according to law but yet, it judge against this law. Even this naira issue, its not a constitutional matter according to legal experts, but policy issue, which does not need to start from supreme court, but high court, yet they entertained it as if they don't know where the suit should originate. All this make joke of their judgement, this was what former Chief justice Nigeria has reduced the judiciary to and the present one is following the suit. For their judgment to be respected by both executive and ordinary citizens, it must be based purely on legal perspective not on highest bidder, or are they not aware that IMO governor was tagged supreme governor. |
Oga bello, Kogi governor, now you know that masses are suffering, when you mismanaged Kogi people's money and unable to pay salary, and Federal Government gave you bail out, did you give it to them? fully know that they are suffering, When the CBN now hinders you from using ill gotten money to buy vote, them your eyes is now open that masses are suffering, God will deal with all of you that cause these for our nation. |
Massiveglory:This is what they did to Jonathan, saying he gave 6 billion Naira to CAN, it can't work this time, they have woefully failed, we are taken back Nigeria from their hands. |
