Calm down and read. You are not following Sir. Ask @Charlesemeka. grin. Must i always add emojis?

How many of our players have you watched 90×3 this season?

I'm waiting...

I know you are excited about Onyeka, but calm down SIr.
fabyom:
Who would have done better? Onyeka was exceptional yesterday. He was the only DM against 3 outstanding CM yet limit them to no shot at goal in the first half. The mere fact that he was in that position to mark the Algerian for that penalty shows the quality of his positioning. That should have been Sanusi's duty. He was all over the place running and winning balls. Paserio should have helped him by bringing on Onyedika earlier. Uzoho punched the ball out from a corner kick, it was the duty of the forwards to press the Algerians while the midfielders add more body to the defense. Where were Iheanacho, Simon and other attackers? You expect Onyeka to press while the attackers do what? Defend? You are just being sentimental.

This is not good Sir. Money is not everything. cheesy
komekn:
Segundo division cannot afford any of them, well certainly not Ponferradina FC which is essentially bankrupt.

Just Tega alone his weekly wages is over the entire Ponferradina squads weekly wage budget .

Finally they would not descend so low when they can go to English league one and two and still get more money.

I dare say you have to Sir. Do you not know it's one of the requirements for anyone to be called a good analyst?
Utonwanne:
I've watched him enough Sir. I don't need to watch them 3 × 90 minutes before making my conclusions and I dare say nobody will have such time luxury of watching all our players 90 minutes every weekend

No, It is not Possible.

Na una dey cause wahala with una use of exceptional, gem, blablabla. cheesy A gem by which standard? Nigerian? If you are exceptional/ a gem, demonstrate your gemness( grin). Very simple. Most of them are average until they prove otherwise.
codemaniacs:
Onyeka should have only closed down the player instead of tackling the player in the box.

2nd goal wasn't Onyeka's fault. It was from a corner kick uzoho punched the ball and the players outside the box are the ones suppose to win such balls and prevent outside shot. Onyeka was defending in the box so how do you expect him to stop the shot when he was no where near the ballhuh

Onyeka is a gem.. he is faster and more mobile than Ndidi and can run with the ball at his feet and was taking the ball from defense to midfield to offense which is what Nwakali was doing at the AFCON..

A starting midfield of Iwobi, Onyeka, onyedika and Ndidi is the solution to the midfield. Then their substitutes are bonke, Nwakali, alhassan-yusuf , nwobodo.

This is not fair. You won't even let Nwakali start against Sao Tome?
wayodude:
Moving on swiftly....I think we should try out these midfield combinations against middleweight opposition (not the likes of Sao Tome)

Double Pivots:

Alhassan, Ndidi
Iwobi

Onyeka, Onyedika
Iwobi

Against the likes of Sao Tome ..

Single Pivot:
Onyedika
Iwobi Aribo

Alhassan
Iwobi Aribo

Maybe Nwakali, because of his exceptionality doesn't want to settle for Farmers' leagues. Just maybe. cheesy grin
charlesemeka85:
No matter how bad a player Onyeka is he is miles better and ahead of nwakali

Both has different playing style but in today’s football where coaches prefers agility, stamina work rate Onyeka will always be in top demand in top flight football than nwakali

Even if Onyeka decides to leave brentford today because of minimal playing time he will get offers easily in French,Belgian,German,Italian and Spanish top tier clubs
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 12:43pm On Sep 28, 2022
You are not following. Some have argued that his exceptionality is the reason he should be invited over others. If the argument was Nwakali could be one of those invited, that would be reasonable. Besides, was he not invited once? How did he fare? So again if anyone is going to argue that he's an exceptional player, we would like to see it play out. It's life, we all don't get to play up there, but if you are exceptional, the chances that you will get there are very high. If you are not, you can be considered along with the rest whose abilities(evidence of it) range from average to fairly good.
Odunayaw:
It is not about being exceptional. Heck I'd not need any finger to list exceptional midfielders we have currently

We can't have a lean midfield like this and be having fool's faith that a midfielder will appear from somewhere or beggar's pride that Nwakali should be in a bigger league

I stan with @Komekn on this rock grin. @Charles, abeg leave Nwakali alone. cheesy. I do understood that luck plays its role in all of this, but it would be folly not to look at the facts before us. As coach Komekn said, it's been 7 years people. We should be seeing Nwakali in the colors of a first tier team, regularly, if he's that exceptional. He's only a year younger than Ndidi. Ndidi was at Genk, and he's been playing for Leicester for 5 years. Now if you have a problem with his age, ask our resident researcher, Jihday, he passed the MRI. It's not his fault the MRI got it wrong. grin.

No Sir, you don't get to decide who and when people call themselves Christians, at least not on this premise. Go and start your own nation and establish a law that says all presidential aspirants and their vices must be Christians. Good luck.
Proudlyomonna:

Terrorist are using Religion to mobilize people to join them in their fight for an Islamic State, how does supporting Muslim-muslim agenda that gives credence to the Ideologies the terrorist are preaching makes you a better person than the terrorist??.
Why empower something you know is not right for a Country with diversities like Nigeria.
Why did apc refuse to respect the existing pattern for selecting P/VP since the year 1999?.
Apc understand that they are the greatest disaster to hit this Country and the only way they can win is if they can corner the North on religious sentiment.
Apc on a Norm should not be on the ballots again.
Apc MUST GO.

aaa, so na partner movement. Sometimes these relationships dey dabaru minds. I would have thought they were legally married if I didn't check when you mentioned it. I don't know, but i feel someway, the man should have known better. When you are the first from your demographic to attain what he did, you have to be extra careful. Perhaps it came too soon. A man of his status cannot be involved in such a thing in the US and not be made a scapegoat. Even if the organization initially would not fire you, they'll probably end up getting pressured into doing it. Everyone one way or another is catering to the numerous woke movements now. It would be interesting to see what they eventually do after his suspension, cos this suspension seems to be hanging on some legal issue. Please stop this. It's ok to admit Ndidi is indeed limited in his passing range. Don't put this on the positioning of Leicester players. Both can be true independently and be disastrous together.
TheGoodJoe:

I don't think it is just about Ndidi alone but pressing strategy as a whole. The Tottenham team in the above position was set up to press the ball and deny the team passing options. And yes, someone more in-depth in the deep passing game would have had a better chance of making better use of the position.

It does not nullify the fact that Ndidi had limited chances to pass due to the poor positioning of the Leicester players. It was atrocious build up playing structure and Ndidi should not shoulder most of the blame.

The set-up was poor and the coaching crew should take the blame and stem it out.

You are not following. Pogba has proved himself to be undisciplined. He would probably get Guardiola fired. Besides he be like na back of TV you dey watch. De Brune wasn't a regular under Mourinho, and he was about 21. It's normal for midfielders to reach their full potential 25 and above. I am not even sure Pogba is the kind of midfielder Guardiola would want to deploy. I am not sure Salah is a good example either. Sorry, you are grasping at straws here. Pogba is one of the most overrated midfielders I have ever seen. My scouting report on Pogba is rather brief. cheesy grin. He's a good player, who's occasionally world-class.
Englishisamust:
No aba pogba. Compare pogba under masimillino Allegri, Deschamps and mouriho. Vs under ole and gengenpressing master.

Compare Salah and debruyne under mouriho Vs under klopp and guardiola. You will know what im saying. Debruyne that was nothing under mouriho became a worldclass midfielder under guardiola.

Make everybody calm down on top McTominay. This may just be that initial gragra, typical of any potential benchwarmer. If 'WorldClass' Pogba could give us 7 assists in his first 4 games and quit, then who is McTominay? Water always finds its level.

Are you alright? Is it the same Pogba, abi another Pogba dey?
Englishisamust:
Yes sir. We shouldn't even suppose to be comparing eriksen with pogba with few matches. We all know Pogba in France, pogba 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, Pogba in juventus is a total beast. When we talk about pass, dribble, shot, skill, and vision. Eriksen still dey learn. Comparing eriksen with Pogba is a big disrespect. Despite is inconsistentency and unseriousnes if pogba see a very disciplined coach like guardiola he will overcook grin
