Shame no even catch to come out. We can judge your takes without you reminding us you are a GSW fan for the umpteenth time. Such genius takes you've got man. etidy: Talk about quoting people out of context but whatever works for you guys. I am a big warriors fan but I am objective enough to acknowledge a problem when I see it.
If my explanations weren't clear enough I don't think there is a point going over it again. |

Shut up and learn. The point is you said never achieved in 10 years what Luka has achieved in 4. He got to the finals in 2006 and lost 4-2. I can only beat what's in front of me. Luka is yet to get to the finals. Very very simple fact. You rate a guy just based on his individual performance? How much a guy has to work with is quite subjective, especially when the players in question are not stars. No player on Dirk's team was even an all-star in 2006, and yet he got to the finals. Khanben: I don't rate basketball players like you guys. I rate a guy based on his individual performances. I will never look at Bird, Kobe, Duncan and Magic to name a few and use them as the baseline for players. These guys walked into a situation, some with multiple top 50 guys of all time on their team already and people like you use them as a baseline to judge players. I rate a players performance based on what he has to work with in terms of teammates, and will continue to do so. |

See I will give you one piece of advice. When someone counters your 'coins argument' with facts, first admit that you got it wrong, then introduce another argument. . Very simple. Stay on point. Khanben: I have not seen Luka play with a talent like Jerry Stackhouse or Jason Terry. Or are you going to say that any of his teammates so far are as good as any of those guys. Dude just got him 3rd first team all-nba nod in 4years at the stacked guard position. |

I don't understand why in a 2 on 1, you go for a 3-point shot, argues one, after Herro bricks a 3. Good point. He certainly forgot the era. But well Herro is a knockdown 3-point shooter, argues another(maybe Mark Jackson here) |

You better just shut up and watch the game. GSW was down by 19, and still managed to beat you by almost 10. I suppose your adjustments were not good enough today. Thanos: On to dallas. It's o news that our interior defense is shit due to the lack of a serviceable center. Maxi kleber scored all his points against the Jazz and forgot how to shoot. Dinwidie who is our x factor was none existent. No worries. Adjustments are coming in dallas . Baby Goat will figure it out. Time to win the next 4 games. 2-0 down. We have them right where we want them. Mavs in 6. |

Calm down, Series just start. . But the bolded though. Thanos: I'm not bothered one bit. Once I saw them miss 3 straight open 3's, I knew it was one of those games. I am not going 11-43 and GSW will not be shooting almost 60% throughout this series. If they want a three point contest, they'll get a three point contest. After one game, they are already hyping looney. You seem to forget that doncic specializes in playing bigs off the floor. That man would become a bench warmer from game 3. Same initial gra gra wey phoenix carry come. I love the way curry was hitting the griddy when making his threes. Make them keep that same energy. Mavs in 6. |

Almost every football fan saw Messi and knew. Similarly, most people here have always known Doncic would turn out great. No be news. . The koko be say, keep this same energy when they get crushed. Also you are a MAVs fan, your belief that you will win is understandable. Thanos: I remember watching a young messi and telling people that when all is said and done, he would be the best to ever do it. People doubted. I can tell you've not watched this kid consistently. No worry. Him go convert all of una one by one. Make him just notch that first championship first. |

Steph is a defensive liability yes or no?
Draymond is an offensive liability yes or no?
Klay plays both sides of the floor well yes or no?
Steph is just stat padding these days and doesn't really care if the team wins or losses yes or no? |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 4:25pm On May 13, 2022 |
I suppose the kings are hoping they can just do it by hiring a coach from the GSW system. They are hoping they get lucky one of these days. He may very well succeed, but it doesn't look good. Some people are just great assistants, and that's how far they can get with their greatness, but there's no harm in trying abi. A40: Was going to say. Like Mike Brown was a good coach 10 years ago. The Kings really cursed bro |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 11:35am On May 13, 2022 |
You know it's a good thing you don't occupy any management role at GSW. Blueelf: GSW front office needs to take the bold step and trade either Steph or Draymond and leave Klay Thompson.
Steph is a defensive liability who is no longer a 3pt threat. These days, he's just an inefficient volume shooter
Draymond is an offensive liability who is punching way above his weight by playing centre.
Either of one of them should be traded asap |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 10:06am On May 13, 2022 |
We'll revisit this. That performance was terrible alright, but there's one factor that makes this tricky. Coaching. As opposed to others, unless you are just overwhelmingly talented, i believe coaching is very important to a winning culture. We've beaten the Phoenix suns fully loaded, and they are not that different now. In fact i won't be surprised if we dispatch them in 6 games. You can't really tell until we actually meet them. One series at a time. Besides, are you alright? What is it with 'mediocres like Bjelica and Porter don't cut it'. You dey talk like the entire bench has always been solid even through the championship years. You don't have to go 12-player deep in the playoffs. 3/4 additional solid players is fine. Besides Porter is playing his bench role well. He was one of those that kept GSW in the game in game 4. Abi na back of TV you dey watch ni? Blueelf: When I told my fellow GSW fans that we ain't winning the championship, you guys doubted my fandom claims, hope y'all can see it now
Getting blown out by 35 at Memphis is not championship calibre. The truth is, GSW needs someone like KD as much as KD also needs a team like GSW. GSW fans don't like to admit it but it's true. Having some mediocres on the bench like Bjelica and Porter doesn't cut it at all
I doubt we're even beating Memphis at home
This is the bitter truth. Even if we get to the WCF, ain't no way I'm hell we going past Phoenix |

I know the nostalgic feeling is off the charts with the warriors fan base but they need to blow up this their big 3 and invest in a proper big who can contribute both offensively and defensively. |

You are overreaching here. At least it's too early. He's had worse games even in the finals. Or are you new to this? Skrrrrrrr: Either curry isn't the shooter he used to be or he is suffering from some trauma. His shooting has been terrible this entire season. The shots he missed were mostly wide open looks. Him and Thompson were a combined 5 of 23 from deep. If they were 40% at least they would have won game 2. If Curry doesn't get out of this slump, the grizzlies are going to send them home. Kerr's coaching has also been questionable, Morant scored 15 points off wide open 3s. They deliberately left him open and dared him to shoot and he scored 5 times, that's as many 3s as Steph and Klay combined. |
