Ofcourse he can pass, to the nearest person 10 yards away.
Olulong:
Lmao

Oya which aspect. Abi you are part of the "Ndidi cannot pass" crew
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 7:41pm On Mar 30, 2021
I beg to differ. Nothing shows Maduka is better than Uzoho in catching balls. cheesy, if that's what you mean by the goalkeeping skills. Sorry, i am just on you today. grin
Subzero047:
I think what Uzoho trumps Maduka in are not actually goalkeeping skills but personal skills that come with age like leadership, being vocal, command and confidence

Uzoho would a better choice for the moment but in 1 or 2 years Maduka will overtake him
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 7:37pm On Mar 30, 2021
Friend, abeg some of us wey dey here go school small. The measure of performance is relative and not quite straightforward, as in performance for performance. And it's not fair to compare a player's performance against one team(bad in quality) and another player's performance against a worse team. That's not a solid support for your argument of who's better. Say something else abeg. Find another reason for a choice of one over the other And don't worry i'll take your advise under advisement. cheesy.
Subzero047:
Ebuehi played better than Aina look at their individual performances, look at their passes and runs going forward, Benin and Lesotho are actually bad opposition but take your time and watch their individual performances
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 7:28pm On Mar 30, 2021
@Subzero47, Are you sure you are not living under sub-zero conditions? Calm down. cheesy. Don't say things like this. It doesn't speak well of your knowledge of the game.
Subzero047:
Was our defense troubled against Benin or not? You don't even know the point of the argument
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 7:25pm On Mar 30, 2021
No. He's lacking in a lot of aspects to warrant that tag. Well-above average, surely. Borderline superstar, maybe I'll take that.
Olulong:
Ndidi will definitely pass as a super star cool
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 7:24pm On Mar 30, 2021
Calm down. How about you actually listen when someone makes a good point. The Benin side is definitely better than the Lesotho team in quality, but their quality is still quite low too. Perhaps Ebuehi looks better because he's playing a much weaker side. Just maybe. Give it a thought. Don't be too Nigerian for your own sake. cheesy
Subzero047:
Argue with your keyboard I don't have your time grin
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 7:11pm On Mar 30, 2021
Superstars? It's only Nigerians that can refer to some players barely above average superstars. Calm down. grin
fabyom:
There is no team in Africa that can defeat this Super Eagles.
Only a few in the world at this moment.
This Nigerian team is a team of superstars!
The scary thing is that they are still very young!
If you didn't watch all the qualifiers (within and outside Africa) please don't spit trash on my page!

Long long time people. Long long time. Nothing much to say. Just that NFF must show us that they are not that dumb by not renewing this coach's contract. This team is definitely above average in quality.

You should have booked an appointment now. I believe only students are allowed to attend the interview without booking an appointment. Even with that, you should book an appointment

The caliber of schools you can apply to depends on your brother's WASCCE grades, assuming you intend to enroll him in an undergraduate program. Are you able to provide any information in this regard?

please can you guide me on admission process in turkey I want to apply for my brother

Be very careful about whoever tells you they want to guide you. I hope you don't run into an agent's nest in your quest to get away from them.
But honestly why are you applying for a Tourist visa instead of a Business visa?
Officialkplus:
hello, guys i will be applying for turkey tourist visa next week along with my younger brother,
we are planning to obtain the residence visa immediately, we get there.
we are also considering going into importation (buying of clothes/bags ) and sending it back to our store in Nigeria.

we have no travel history on our passports, so we are a bit scared. what are our chances ...?
the hotel/accommodation reservations, how do we go about it..?
how much does a furnished 1-2 bedroom apartment cost down there..?

I have read sad stories of agents' we decided to do it on our own.....we need someone to guild us.

how long is the estimated, time taking from the submission of application...till approval date?

please help.

Politics › Re: Osita Chidoka: Awolowo Was Unforgiving, Introduced Ethnic Politics To Nigeria by benji93: 2:16pm On Mar 23, 2021
It's a serious problem. It's easier to blame an outsider than someone in your backyard, who may have been responsible for your problems. They should ask their relatives and politicians who fought for secession then, why they did so if a significant number of their people were enjoying their lives so much. Maybe it was just a group of bitter politicians who felt their people were wronged because they were denied certain political positions. It's disappointing that the majority of these politicians do not understand the difference between personal interest and regional/national interest. It's even more disappointing that the people cannot/will not realize it when their leaders are full of shit.
BSdetector:
God bless you....I don't understand some of the shit this people talk at times....you voted to leave the region but you're angry that you were kicked out of the region....same as most igbos; you want biafra and freedom for Igbo land but you don't want to leave Lagos.....imagine the children of Isreal saying they want to leave Egypt but still want to remain in Cairo.... they're a seriously confused set of human beings.
Politics › Re: Osita Chidoka: Awolowo Was Unforgiving, Introduced Ethnic Politics To Nigeria by benji93: 1:34pm On Mar 23, 2021
I can understand your frustration, which is justified given your people were at the receiving end of the action. But what did you expect him to do? keep you in the western region after you decided to leave? You chose to leave, and of course any leader would hate a sub-region that decides to cut themselves out. Maybe the question should be, why did some of the people of the midwestern region decide to stay after they had voted to leave? More like they had no idea what they were doing. It seems, carving out the midwestern region wasn't well calculated. The leaders that agitated for this on behalf of their people should have considered that a forced exodus of their people from cities in the western region could result from it.
Oghene1st:
And he was against self determination by the Igbos? Go and research about the politics played by Midwest politicians. Awolowo was against it. It was a sound political exercise by Midwest leaders. And after the referendum, you guys drove the midwesterners out of Ibadan and that is respect for self determination? You all can lick his ass but you see mudwesterners, they don't even talk about him.

Did you consider the possibility that some/most of the recipients only get the dollar equivalent. Make una use una heads abeg.
thebosstrevor1:
So Google will give me the answer.

Do you know what is even counted as remittance.

Foreign direct investment is infact counted as remittance.

The only people who can give real data about individual remittance are the apps and the banks.

90% of Nigeria foreign exchange is from oil and agriculture not diaspora remittance.

Also Nigeria wont be in a dollar crisis if Nigerians abroad do send 24 billion dollars annually
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93: 1:28am On Mar 15, 2021
Decent suggestion after the fact. These are not usually clear in the moment. Moreover for a hungry striker that was a normal decision. And he was close to squeezing that in. But well "was close" definitely didn't get the ball in. cheesy
Illimitable:
That wasn’t the right decision. The keeper was expecting the shot from him with his left foot(his only option).

A decent pass to Rashford would have confused the keeper with Rashford bending a curler to the far post with his right foot.

Career › Re: A 100k Monthly Salary In Nigeria Is Better Than A 400k Monthly Salary In USA by benji93: 3:47pm On Mar 10, 2021
There are 2 things involved. On one hand what you are allowed to do. On the other hand what is appropriate. The fact that you are allowed to play loud music doesn't make it appropriate. It's not appropriate to inconvenience your flat/housemates. Breaking rules sometimes out of curiosity, some other times as a result of circumstances is characteristic of humans, so a system should be in place to cut those excesses. Believe me if there were no systems in those developed countries, the attitude of their citizens wouldn't be any different from ours.

One thing is necessary though. Nigerians that are doing well must get involved. It will not change if we constantly lament about the fact that the system is quite harsh. Some of us must sacrifice our lucrative careers to come back home and do something. Perhaps you don't just wake up one day and decide to come. You may begin by contributing in small quantities. Nigeria needs a technological revolution, especially in the private sector. Nigeria needs innovative people now more than ever. No be person wey go read Chemical Engineering for the abroad cheesy dey hope say government go create company to employ am.
For instance, if you are a tenured professor overseas you can tell your employers to allow you to take at least 2 Nigerian students for graduate studies after a period of time(You must be a really good researcher to demand for this though). In their training encourage them to take on some Nigerians as graduate students or train some Nigerian researchers residing in Nigeria in the capacity of an adjunct professor.

Back to the subject matter. Quality of life is very important. The quality of life in Nigeria is low. Fortunately, Nigerians have developed the steel to survive it. But i can understand why some work hard at leaving to the abroad. cheesy. If i pay a lot of tax, even up to 40% but i have access to proper health care and welfare services as in most of the Scandinavian countries, I would gladly pay. This cannot be said of the US though.
bloggerblogger2:
YOU MAY AGREE OR DISAGREE.

A 100K monthly salary earner in Nigeria is better than a 400K monthly salary earner in the United States.

The luxury lifestyles some of us live here with 100K, cannot sustain us a day over there. We can’t try such in US and save a dim.

Some of our annual rent here is weekly/ monthly rent over there. Can you pay over 100K naira monthly house rent with 400K monthly salary here in Nigeria? You can’t do that, but you don’t have a choice over there. You pay or kicked out of the house.

Some of our people over there are becoming wiser now. They don’t mind sleeping on the streets, work for at least 5-10yrs, move back to Nigeria with their savings. You cannot survive with 100M living comfortably a year over there. Tax go finish you up. But you can live large with 100M for 5yrs or more here in Nigeria depends on your lifestyles tho.

You don’t pay unnecessary tax here. But in foreign countries you pay almost everything.
In naija you can own 10 cars..not in the United States because you pay for packing space for each car. You get the point now?

Some of our people in diaspora, once they earn $10K in a month or so, depends on the job, they’d send $9K down to their Nigeria account and keep $1K for their upkeep. Some would buy lands and build houses for rent or some other businesses.
If you don’t do that, you’d work all your life and come back with nothing. Those of you on this method are wise. But becareful of the people you send your money to here. Trust no one! Get a trustworthy lawyer involved.

U can make unnecessary noise or play loud music here. You can’t try such over there and not find yourself in police cell.

So you see….We are privileged here. We only need to get bad political leaders off the way. By getting involved in politics, national, state, LGA and community affairs. That’s how American youth you admire, do.

They don’t just fold hands, wailing and waiting for a miracle. They debate, disagree, challenge, involved and create. You get the point now?

Stop making these nonsense arguments. We are lucky Gundogan and Mahrez are the only ones in this game? Maybe they are lucky our guys are playing rubbish despite being one goal up.
CapitalCee:
Yes we are winning but thats a lethargic 1st half performance. Henderson and our defence have stood strong. But our midfield is atrocious, our attackers lack the aggressiveness and precision to do anything.

We are just lucky so far that only Gundogan and Mahrez seems to be in the game for City
