High-IQ man, next time hopefully, you can get your information from reliable source.;; ![]() Illimitable: |
Use your head, man. Na person say make you no defend? ![]() hensben: |
No winner should. But we need a trophy for a change. ![]() Leyqute: |
Read my friend, do some follow up no just look out for highlights on Wikipedia. . The 5 year period includes his first year in charge. ![]() BikeMan: |
Believe me, I didn't lie. I just missed it. Besides, why are you being overly defensive? I mean we are talking about his former life here. The fact that he didn't do much doesn't mean he cannot succeed at Chelsea. He's in fact on his way to success unless he has some shares in the bottling company. . Besides, why are you talking as if he won a league title at Dortmund? So let's put his DFB-pokal win at Dortmund into perspective. I decided to check the DFB-pokal finals history, it turns out they had gotten to the finals 2 years consecutively before he joined, which amounts to a total of 3 finals in 4 years prior to his appointment. So sorry to disappoint you, he didn't do nada. . Let's see what he does at Chelsea. ![]() BikeMan: |
The circumstances of these coaches over their careers have been quite different. And I am afraid I can't ignore it. The only reason i can ignore it is if you have a well-decorated resume. In the case of Tuchel as I previously said @Expert17 can coach PSG to a title. If you think i am lying ask him. . In the case of Pochettino don't tell me oh, he got to the finals. He's never been luckier. He has shares in Insha Allah stocks. If you mention people like Mourinho and Guardiola who both have impressive resumes it would be close to impossible to argue against those guys in terms of achievement, although I would be quite hesitant in the case of Guardiola. The man is the definition of luck. In the beginning, he had multiple generational talents, then he consistently gets the money to buy and buy year after year to maintain his status.Ennyjay69: |
Improve? But i thought Ole improved the team fro what he inherited. Oh sorry I just remembered he's now a Chelsea manager hence your defence. Typical Chelsea fan. But i do not understand though, you like some other Man utd fans cannot maintain a side in an argument. You keep jumping from one side to the other. One day you talk about improving a side, the next you talk about winning trophies. Stay one place make thunder locate you. BikeMan: |
Coach Guardiola may not have a lot of shares, but he does have some shares in the bottling company. ![]() |
We may never find out. But it looks like getting PSG into the finals is not that difficult afterall, I mean Pochettino is quite close to equalling that in his first year. So perhaps Ole can get it done. just maybe. ![]() Ennyjay69: |
I know say na laugh @afrodoc go dey laugh for wherever him dey. Him constantly dey peep in. If i tell you say high-IQ man don make this place interesting una go think say i dey joke. ![]() |
Case study: Hans Flick. In the wake of his decision to leave Bayern at the end of the season i began to wonder, but this man has not been a household name for long now. Although he began his managerial career in 1996, he had to wait until 2019/2020 season to taste success as a manager. A case of someone succeeding late. I think some fans just over fantasize and lose touch with reality. Some people have no idea what examples are useful, and which ones are not. I do not understand how someone born of a woman would assume comparing the start of Ole's career to Guardiola's fair. I mean the latter got multiple generational talents at once. How is that a fair comparison. someone even mentioned Tuchel, a coach that never had any real success until he took charge of PSG. We all know our very own expert @Expert17 can coach PSG to Ligue 1. Make una dey think abeg. |
But honestly, jokes aside, high-IQ man has made this place more interesting. . The traffic no be small thing. He indeed has the pull. When he pulls everyone jerks. ![]() |
Respect yourself. No turn to high-IQ man. ![]() Expert17: |
.You don let high-IQ man get to you. ;handelex: |
Take am easy now. . Just ask am for WAEC result. ![]() handelex: |
Oh yes you are correct, i missed that. Sorry, I thought Man united was his first coaching job. . You see accepting that wasn't so hard. But i am still waiting for your Waec result. You run all over the place claiming other people have very low IQs. Present your WAEC result, let's see how high your IQ is. Illimitable: |
Debunked? Do you understand the meaning of the word? I just opined that the quartet, if you include Busquet, which is arguably the greatest ever, makes the job of a coach much easier you tell me it has been debunked. Provide explanations please. popizaino: |
True. No one in his right senses would comapre Ole to Mou. Mou has an impressive Resume. Ole has done very little. But your argument that Mou schooled Sir Alex is bullshit. We could also say Ole has not lost to Mou with 11 players on each side. . There are definitely lots of other things you can mention, not that one.obonujoker: |
It's a routine procedure. ikaonigent: |
That's usually the case, at least for first time applications. Wait. ikaonigent: |
Ah, quicken up man. I was obviously poking at someone, and so being done was not the point, which is something only time can tell. eph12: |
Let me give you some life lessons cos it seems you lack a lot of understanding about how this life works. Your when Ole/Mourinho argument is quite dumb honestly, cos no be when you start. Some start winning early, while others start late. It's reality. There's another thing. Mourinho's career as a professional footballer was close to non-existent. The last time he played-even amateur football-was in 1987, when he was 24. He began working as an assistant as far back as 1992, with Robson. He moved from one assistant manager role to another until his first stint in 2000 as the senior coach of Benfica, which was 8 years after working under several senior coaches soaking up knowledge along the way. His first real success was with Uniao de Leria as senior manager in 2001, when he led the team to 4th place. Remember that Mourinho worked directly with high profile coaches, Robson, then Van Gaal through those 8 years. . Now for Ole he retired in 2007. He honestly didn't get well-grounded before his first stint at Molde as a head coach. 4 years later he moved to Cardiff as their manager. He would be a genius to save that team from relegation. The long and short of it is that, Ole did not learn the ropes properly, in fact honestly he did not learn at all. Sadly that's what's happening these days. Most of them end up learning on the Job. Only a few of them can succeed without any proper grounding, in which case the environment provided to them may overblow their perceived abilities, as was in the case of Guardiola for example who had Messi, Xavi Iniesta and co. I mean you don't need to be a genius to coach those guys to trophies. So before you bring age into any argument you need to consider what their life was like until that age. I have told you severally, you won't listen. Do some actual reading before you post anything. I still trust you to bring up some bullshit counters though. It is your way. ![]() Illimitable: |
Common na simple question i ask now. No vex i beg. . But that your 3-0 stat is very correct. Ole still has a lot to do.Illimitable: |
But honestly, una no dey try for here. I do agree with one thing about @illimitable's argument though, 25 major trophies no beans. Mourinho try well well, just say time don reach make him retire. No be everybody go dominate until 70, 58 is a nice age to retire too. ![]() |
The guy dey avoid me like plague after i don ask for him Waec result. ![]() KingAlabi: |
You don't get to decide who got cooked. The spectators get to make that decision. Meanwhile, I am still waiting for your stellar Waec results. ![]() Illimitable: |

Sometimes i dey feel people like you dey do this thing out of self-pity. Maybe you yourself no to do well for WAEC. . No need to resort to such defensive stance just go straight to the point. . If you turn out to be incorrect, accept your mistakes and come back in a few days, maybe we go don forget. . I get small time for you today. Post your WAEC result abeg. I dare you. I no like am wen people dey form say dem know book when na olodo dem be. Respect people small. I have an uncanny feeling you are just another regular fan here using this Moniker to explore your other talents. . For two enemies @Jodera and @KingAlabi to collaborate on top your matter, it shows you are a very special case.Illimitable: |
Again, not that your points are not reasonable, just not realistic. What comes first, the system or the players? You decide on a system, but the kind of players that you think fit that system best are not available or are too expensive. So what do you do? Out of desperation, you get someone that's doing well elsewhere-remember that guy is coming from another system- You bring that guy into your system, thrn you have a choice to make. Do you change your system to suit that guy? Is it worth it? Or do you wait and hope that guys just fits in your system? In all these wahala you must keep in mind there are some people like @nitrogen on the look out. . They have goals, they want you to achieve. The system evolves and gets more complicated, with all sorts of blemish cos you compromised, not that you had a choice, just that your system must interact with other systems and that interaction is not that simple. Ofcourse as the owner, you want results =, so you fire the coach, the most expendable. My point is you don't create a system and expect that the system will get what it needs. You will have all sorts of cracks all over the please. Good luck to figuring out how to mend the crack, even if it's temporarily. Fortunately for you i love stats, please tell me the turn over rate since fergie left. How many quality players did we buy and how many flourished elsewhere after getting the axe? I am waiting.nitrogen: |
