You don't know that Big Brother always plans ahead if it will be an All Stars it has already been pre-planned just like how past seasons were planned ahead no show on the franchise emerges as an "afterthought". I disagree, I think we're overdue for a BBN All-stars. BBA ran for only 5 seasons before doing all stars and it was a hit! BBUK and BBUSA has had their several seasons of all stars and they were well received. Some housemates we didn't see enough of in the previous seasons can use this All-stars to showcase themselves in ways we never saw them before. I'll be hoping to see the likes of Soma, K-brule, Isilomo, Beatrice, Lilo, Vandora, and a bunch of other promising housemates that left too early to benefit much from the show

Is the speculation itself not a publicity? What "big shout" are they going to make that they have not made? The teasers they are doing is that not how all seasons of BBNaija are done? Every season takes planning they have planned it already so nothing is an afterthought whether or not it is an All Stars. It is the planning that brings in the sponsors. It seems you are not the one paying attention particularly when BBNaija prepares to start.

Aunty speculations are more or less a rumor with no facts!
Publicity is an advert system that enables fans and prospective sponsors be aware that such show or program is true and will likely happen at a certain date!
If a unique show or a new twist to a show is about is about to commence,the organisers start early adverts to inform their fans and sponsors esp the dates!
This is standard practice not a hurriedly packaged show just to fulfill the fantasies of few fans who want to witness another loggerhead or clash between two notorious ex HMs!

Lastly,I respect your desire about anticipating an all star show which is due to personal reasons best known to you.....and surely you are entitled to your opinion!
However,from what I can see currently,I doubt if such show will take place due to the timing and if it does,my opinion is such show will not get the needed popularity and financial benefits that multi choice is anticipating and might likely flop!

If you watched the last episode of level up reunion Ebuka asked the Housemates if they would want to do this again, everyone asides Bella and Giddyfia said yes. Some of them no longer have brands and endorsements, going back to the house will help their ministry you think these housemates are naive ask them if Multichoice gives them money to come, they wouldn't come you talk like as if the weeks requiring that they stay in Biggie's house they would make such money outside because of social media. As far as I am concerned none of them is bigger than that platform. Multichoice will invite some if there is going to be an All Stars and I assure you that 90% of them including the very popular ones will go there again.

Ebuka also asked HMs in the Lockdown and Shine your eyes edition about wanting to participate again!
But did that usher an all star show afterwards?
Most ex HMs came to the show using the BBN franchise as a springboard to launch them into stardom!
Most HMs will disagree with you because to them,they believe they have outlived the show and have moved on to better things!
Even if you decide to have such show today,two things will be involved....its either the ex HMs opt out due to engagements or the make an entrance into the show but take a voluntary leave!

Where do you put yourself when they announce auditions? Lol they always announce auditions and we always hear the news of applications for auditions before a new season starts. This time around I don't think they did one that is why the speculation of an All Stars is fueled. Auditions are always open to the public the selection is a secret. This year no news of an audition.
Also, the teasers have clearly showed all the logos from the past seasons thus fueling the speculation of an All Stars.

BBA had an All Stars season, I would not want to say the housemates are unavailable. If Multichoice sends them an invite along with money they would go. Some of them don't get endorsements anymore. It is a way of bringing in visibility for them. As for Mercy and Tacha everybody get price. If they get big offers they will go because staying outside for ten weeks they may not get that offer.
I think the idea for an All Stars is to revive the franchise. Many would go back to base if they see their faves those in BBNaija retirement might come back to watch the show which I believe should be in hiatus for now. Multichoice is their collective daddy. Lol

As for the rest na speculations it may not be kumbaya season the organisers know what they are doing. It may not be an All Stars after all but for now there is an indication that it will be one. This one when some housemates are now falling their fans lol

How can organisers plan a show like an all star without even making a big shout about it?
It either indicates that there was nothing of such or maybe an after thought which won't create enough publicity and sponsorship and ultimately crash before it even starts!

Even last year auditions weren't that publicized because it wasn't really physical like other previous editions and they have chosen a better means of communicating with prospective HMs!

Your idea of multi choice handing out invites with monetary enticement is not only weak but also based on speculation!
How much will the organisers pay the likes of Mercy and Tacha to be on such show which they used as a stepping stone?

I understand the very fact that you want to believe with excitement that there might be a chance for ex HMs like mercy and tacha to grace the show one more time,however,the chances of such happening where these established ex HMs are locked up again for even a week without their SM handles or contact with the outside world will become traumatic and completely impede their performance on the show!

I see most of them taking a voluntary exit if they even decide to participate or if the organisers contemplate an after thought all star show!

There is absolutely nothing like an all star show!
The timing and publicity is not even there!
That's the same way there was a rumour late last year about BBT bringing in ex HMs from BBN and BB Mzanzi only for fans to see new HMs!
BBN will most likely bring in new HMs as they always do every season!

Nobody — and I mean nobody — can bring the needed fire to spice the show. Everybody will hail the arrival of Tacha and Mercy. After one week, all man go continue with life. The official thread will be populated with trolls and diehards only. On Sundays, people will come to check in then move out on Monday morning. Rinse and repeat till the edition ends.

same reason why there is hardly a hint of an audition for new HMs is the same reason why there might likely be no all star because such show should have had enough publicity for being a first!
An all star show would already have a selection of ex HMs that will be participating!
However,during and after post covid,auditions were done by sending video recordings to the organisers!

The truth is that some of the HMs that had enough vawulence to dish out decided to let peace reign due to their elevated status and the fact that they now have aides that actually prep them for what to say at the reunion!

The overall point is not that the process should rely solely on party agents. They are just one leg of a balanced three legged stool.. IREV, the signed results sheets/BVAS and the paper ballots themselves. All should be saying the same thing. If IREV data is in dispute, we can validate with either the signed result sheets (party agents and INECs copies) or paper ballots. INEC did not declare results based on data in IREV. It was non existent at the time. They claimed to have manually compiled result sheets. That is where to start from and prove they are being dishonest. I saw “evidence” of lots of “manipulated sheets” shortly after the elections. Where is all that in this process? Frustrating for an average onlooker.
I can’t speak to whether or not INEC was legally required to upload, transmit and collate results in IREV before announcing a winner. That is left for the courts to decide. But I can definitely say that even if they did that and there is a dispute, the party agents have the evidence in their hands to prove INEC was deceptive if they were.

The IREV was one of the most important features that encouraged voters about the readiness of INEC to finally put things right by ensuring transparency and accountability in our electoral process!

The IREV was probably the reason why the electoral law was amended to give powers to INEC to choose a mode of transmission which they said boldly was through electronic means and the rules and guidelines of INEC which is as powerful as the electoral law was given!

Once IREV either encountered a glitch or error during an election,the process could have been halted as any other alteration of the chosen mode of transmission would be unconstitutional and unacceptable to all and sundry!

As much as I agree that the aggreived parties should be able to rely on agents election documents for proof,this totally makes a mockery of the entire electronic transmission process where humongous funds from taxpayers were allocated and takes us back to the reliance on manual transmission!

Relying on party agents instead of the IREV that humongous funds from taxpayers were budgeted for is like saying there was never any need for electronic transmission in the first place!
