Glad you mentioned rules and regulations, now tell me what Clause 48(c) allows? How about the Electoral Act itself? Read Clause 93 and enlighten yourself!
The rules and regulations of INEC are an extension of the electoral act and holds as much authority and is binding just like the act!
This is as clear as daylight!
What does clause 93 of the rules and regulations of INEC say?
This talks specifically about collation!
How is collation related to the authenticity and power of the rules and regulations of inec?

Nairaland seems determined to sink deeper into the GUTTER of dog-whistling bigotry…

The Ibo (which is the whistle here) journalist Ijeoma did NOT testify “for” Peter Obi…
Rather she was SUBPOENAED (ie, ORDERED by the court) to testify AT the hearing re facts pertinent to the case.

Accordingly, the OP’s thread heading was (at best) IGNORANT or (at worst) crudely MISCHIEVOUS!

'Transmitted' does not mean it has to be electronically transmitted.
Have you read the rules and regulations of INEC which is an extension of the electoral act and commands the same power and authority?

Is INEC chairman, the Electoral Act? Man can promise you heaven and earth but if it is not documented na ofutufete, LAMBA! I suggest make una read the Electoral Act which gives alternatives to coalition of results when technological or unforeseen acts occur. It is up to LP to prove that technological glitch did not occur or that it was not beyond INEC's control......MISSION IMPOSSIBLE grin grin grin
It was not just said,it was also documented as rules and regulations of INEC which is an extension of the electoral act and holds as much power and binding authority!
Politics › Re: Tinubu’s Victory: AIT Broadcaster Ijeoma Osamor Testifies For Peter Obi by bentenny(m): 1:51am On Jun 17, 2023
The amended electoral act 2022 gave INEC the power to choose its mode of transmission which will be binding with equal authority that the act holds!

INEC made an extended law referred to as rules and guidelines which was publicly announced by the INEC chairman at different forums where the mode of transmission was made known and documented with procedures clearly spelt out during the conduct of the election!

In the rules and guidelines, INEC chose its primary mode of transmission which is electronic transmission of results from the polling unit to a database which will be viewed by citizens from the IREV!

Its that simple!

Now if INEC discovered that its primary choice won't materialize due to acclaimed or perceived external forces, they are not only supposed to inform the parties involved but also postpone the election to a date where it would be possible to conduct such election!

If INEC found out it was unable to proceed with their primary choice, they should inform parties involved and choose a different mode of transmission by rewriting a totally different rules and regulations!

This was the path INEC should have taken if they were truly independent and wanted transparency!

Some unschooled folks here have argued that INEC reserves the choice to change the laws as much as possible even during the conduct of the election but such arguments are not only hilarious but illogical!
The rules and regulations made by INEC are as powerful as the electoral act itself!
Those who opine that INEC can decide to alter a LAW at its own will is either ignorant or just being mischievous!

aswani:
Osamor, while being cross-examined by APC counsel, Abiodun Owonikoko, avowed that INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, said the results of the Feb. 25 presidential election would be transmitted live.

So instead of providing proof of his votes that were giving to other candidates, we are focusing on someone saying the election results would be transmitted live.

So this is the stolen mandate that Obidients have been shouting upandan, the fact that elections were not transmitted live.

No figures to compare with officially declared figures, just random journalists saying they heard that the results will be transmitted live.

I understand why Obi's SANs are proceeding on this basis anyway, they have families to feed and things are tough for honest citizens in this country
Chai which kain sense way una get sef?
Can't you read and understand the content before reacting?
Osamor was called in as a witness not to tender any sort of results but to prove that there was no time the INEC chairman said there will be no electronic transmission of results!
She made this claim by stating that she had participated in all of the INEC chairman's meetings and engagements where the commission boss stated explicitly that there will be electronic transmission of results from the PU contrary to a frivolous publication by Tribune newspaper!

OP take my word, nothing will happen to emefiele!
Its just a normal procedure from BAT to hoodwink the ignorant into believing that he is working and on top of the situation!

Look at the former accountant general of the federation that embezzled over a 100 billion of which the last that was heard about him was that he wanted to forfeit 30billion for a lighter sentence, since then nothing has been heard from that case and that's how the matter died!

Same will happen in this case!

I repeat nothing will happen to the former CBN governor!

You are not making a single sense!
In one hand you are calling them a regional party but going by the definition of region,it simply means LP is only concentrated in the east which based on results and victories gotten, that's not the case!
Abuja is not an eastern region
Nasarrawa is not an Eastern region
But Obi won there and NA members emanated from there!

In a better country where the laws are implemented without care for the personality involved, the likes of Mbah would not only be disqualified but also arrested and prosecuted for forgery!
The reason for such boldness is because most politicians in Nigeria have done worse things and got away with it!

Some even called buhari the older version of 'Jack Bauer' which according to them inflicted fear in bokoharam members grin

Today the same pattern is happening but some Nigerians as usual will never learn from their horrible past because they have enmeshed themselves in tribalism!

This is my girl. Our problems are she most times receives calls and chats with lots of guys and she lies to me alot, I've told her severally to stop and always tell me as it is, although I get angry very easily bt it would be better to digest the truth than lies cus it's hurt me a lot. So I've broken up with her many times and she sometimes swear never to come back again. But after a few days or weeks. She will come begging, calling and texting again and then I keep forgiven her.

Below is a screenshots of our most recent quarrels when she came back begging and the reason for the quarrel was she was at my house when another guy called again, and she couldnt tell the guy she was at her boyfriend's house even though the guy kept asking where she went, she only said she went out.

What exactly could be the problem?
Is it me? Is it her? I'm I too over protective or feeling insecure? Please guys what should I do?
You enabled this by easily forgiving her without any sort of laid down 'punishment' as a form of deterrence hence she keeps doing the same thing believing you will let her in every time she messes up!

Buhari signs amended constitution to allow states generate, transmit electricity

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), has signed into law the constitutional amendment allowing states in the country to licence, generate, transmit, and distribute electricity.

This was made known in a tweet by the presidential media spokesperson, Tolu Ogunlesi, on Friday.

He tweeted, “President #MBuhari has signed 16 constitution amendment bills into law. By this signing, State Houses of Assembly & judiciaries now have constitutionally guaranteed financial independence, while railways have moved from Exclusive Legislative List to the concurrent list.

“Another landmark change: By virtue of the presidential assent, Nigerian states can now generate, transmit and distribute electricity in areas covered by the national grid. (This) wasn’t allowed pre-amendment. This is genuine, realistic restructuring — through the constitution.”

https://punchng.com/buhari-signs-amended-constitution-to-allow-states-generate-transmit-electricity/?amp
So I ask again what is the difference?
This act signed by bihari also gives states the authority to create their own regulatory body which can give license to private electricity companies!
