OyinO: It is idolatory because Jesus wasn't born then. You're throwing party for Santa (Satan) Claus whose colours are red and green - the colours of hell! Christmas is for Satan Claus so you're an idolater! Say what you want I hear the gospel on that day, Christ is always on my mind, if I was celebrating Santa I guess he would be angry at the way I celebrate. So red and green is the colour of hell, wonderful |

ifewise: The Controversy on Christmas, December 25th as Jesus' Birthday: Our Position and Clarification, By MFM
With reference to the varied reactions that have been trailing the message of our General Overseer (Worldwide), Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, on the celebration of December 25th as Christmas in celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, during the church's weekly Manna Water service on Dec. 25, 2019, we make the following clarifications...
Though the foundation of Christmas is idolatry and God hates idolatry with perfect hatred, we will not throw away the baby and the bath water. We do not condemn those who celebrate. Jesus is born in us at MFM every day. His death is our birth certificate.
We will bring out the positive out of the negatives by using all holidays for prayers, conferences seminars, and activities.
We will hold seminars, conventions, camp meetings or special teaching services to pray, examine the scriptures and draw positives from the wrong, negative and idolatry practices of the two events: Easter and Christmas.
We will hold special meetings to re-teach, re-emphasize and reappraise the significance of Jesus' birth, death, cross, and resurrection.
ON DECEMBER AND THE SHEPHERDS Strange but true! Remember those shepherds who were “keeping watch over their flocks by night”? (Luke 2: . December weather around Bethlehem is often miserably cold, wet and rainy. No shepherd in his right mind would have kept his flocks outside at night at that time of year! The passage argues against the December 25th birth of Jesus Christ since the weather would not have permitted shepherds to be out in the fields with their flocks then.
Also, Luke 2:1-4 tells us that Jesus was born in Bethlehem because his parents came to that town to register in a Roman census. The Romans were well known as highly efficient administrators. It would have made no sense to have conducted a census in the dead of winter when temperatures often dropped below freezing and traveling was difficult due to poor road conditions. Taking a census under such conditions would have been pointless.
The Bible nowhere tells us to observe a holiday celebrating Jesus Christ’s birth —but it clearly does tell us to do ‘communion’ in remembrance of him. On Christmas day I wake up, go to church, eat rice and chicken, go out and have fun come back home please explain how this is idolatry. The fact that the day was for evil doesn't mean what I do is evil, to aid spreading the gospel it changed to a Christian celebration after all God created the seven days, since no exact time of Jesus birth we use any day it acceptable just know he is the reason for the season |

TonyeBarcanista: How did you conclude that the wife ks wicked? Let us watch what we say towards people's spouses.
I am very sure that the wife acted the way did because of the discomfort she feels with a second "woman" enjoying the attention and niceties of her husband.
Honestly, I can NEVER fault her! I have seen first hand where lovely and nice househelp got pregnant for oga and he was asked to marry her as second wife - which he did! I get your point but she suspected and didn't say anything to her husband, he gave her money for clothes with instructions to include the girl, she didn't object only to come back and say nonsense. That's wickedness. If you have a problem say it from the start let the parties involved don't suffer not scheming an evil plan because of your suspicions. |

Mynd44: But imagine if Babcock came out with a press statement saying they will be taking court actions against people who leaked the video and support the lady in question to justice against those who are using it to shame the lady.
Imagine they say although they hold morals in high regard, they also understand that she did it on holidays and they will make sure they set an example of those who are hiding to cause trouble and shame the woman for something that is not a crime.
Not every time try to remove yourself; sometimes shake and break tables. Show support and strength and stand for justice.
Sometimes be remembered for staying on the side of justice instead of triggering your flight emotion
but if they don't, it is still okay. They have a right to protect their name, identity and brand Even if they do that they must expel her you cannot swallow poison to please people If someone else's sex tape comes out tomorrow what will they do that will be fair having excused a previous defaulter |

Whether in campus or abroad the school doesn't want to be associated with things like that, that's their rule and they must enforce the punishment not to seem complacent. Alimani: President Buhari has presented Integrity awards to two public servants, Bashir Abubakar and Mrs Josephine Ugwu of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, for exhibiting Integrity in the performance of their official duties.
Buhari presented the awards to the recipients at the opening of the two-day National Summit on Diminishing Corruption in Public Sector held at the State House Banquet hall, Abuja.
The event is being organized by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in collaboration with Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC).
The Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Abubakar rejected 412,000 dollars (N150 million) bribe offered to him by drug traffickers to import 40 containers laden with Tramadol, a controlled and highly addictive drug.
Ugwu, a former cleaner at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos had on different occasions returned millions of naira found in the course of her duty, including the sum of N12 million dollars forgotten in the toilet by an airport user.
Speaking at the event, Buhari stressed the need for Nigerians to uphold the traditionally cherished values of honesty and integrity.
‘‘Let me again note with concern the need to uphold the values of loyalty, honesty, trust, and integrity that were once cherished in our public service. Ethics and integrity are the foundation of an enduring society.
‘‘Nigerian culture does not tolerate dishonesty. Therefore, we must reclaim our traditional values of honesty, integrity and hard work. In spite of the few bad eggs, I am delighted that many Nigerians still hold on to our traditionally cherished values of honesty and integrity,” he said.
Buhari called on the National Assembly to fast-track the passage of the Special Crimes Court Bill. He also urged the judiciary to embrace and support the creation of the Special Crimes Court.
He said: ‘‘the fight against corruption is of course not only for government and anti-corruption agencies alone. All arms and tiers of government must develop and implement the anti-corruption measures. I invite the legislative and judicial arms of government to embrace and support the creation of Special Crimes Court that Nigerians have been agitating for to handle corruption cases.’’
President Buhari noted that the passage of the Bill was a ‘‘specific priority’’ of this administration’s Economic Recovery & Growth Plan 2017-2020. The President also used the occasion, which marked the launch of the Constituency Projects Transparency Group (CPTG) Report Phase One, to reiterate his appeal to all well-meaning Nigerians to join in the fight against corruption.
‘‘The war against corruption cannot be won without prevention, enforcement, public education and enlightenment. I encourage the ICPC and other law enforcement agencies to intensify their efforts in public education, enlightenment and engagement with citizens.
‘‘I also urge our development partners, civil society organizations, and the media to continue to support our efforts to strengthen ethical values and integrity in Nigeria,’’ he said.

Sports › Re: Proof Match Officials Were Against Manchester City In Game With Liverpool by bereto(m): 5:35pm On Nov 13, 2019 |
TheGoodJoe: Neil Swarbrick, the man whose job it is to oversee the implementation of VAR in the Premier League claimed it was the correct decision.
Speaking on BBC Five Live, he said: “That’s the subjective part – was it in an unnatural place? When you look at it, at no point does Trent Alexander-Arnold’s arm move towards the ball.
“His body posture … his arm is there. His arm has got to be somewhere. His arm is slightly away from his body but that is a neutral, natural position for his stance at that moment in time.
“The ball came from a short distance at pace, and just happened to hit that arm. He didn’t move the arm towards the ball, it just hit the arm.
“Michael Oliver has seen that clearly. That’s what he explained. He said ‘I know it’s hit the arm, but there is no arm movement, it’s come at short distance, I’m comfortable that that’s not deliberate handball’.
“It has to be deliberate in the penalty area to give a penalty. It’s different to scoring a goal, where it can be accidental. To give a penalty it’s got to be deliberate.
“Michael deemed it not to be deliberate. The VAR has looked at that, listened to what Michael said, and it absolutely married up.”
Except that is simply not true.
Not only that, Swarbrick, Oliver and the VAR all failed to see it, which questions either their eyesight or their integrity – take your pick.
Swarbrick also failed to mention the actual letter of the law.
He said it was about whether the arm was “in an unnatural place”.
The law actually states: “It is usually an offence if a player: touches the ball with their hand/arm when: the hand/arm has made their body unnaturally bigger” or when the arm is raised above the head.
From being by his side, Alexander-Arnold’s arm indisputably rises and moves away from his body, therefore making his body “unnaturally bigger”.
VAR has been an unmitigated disaster. And with officials refusing to admit huge errors, and do something about them, it will continue to be so.
By the time the ball reaches Alexander-Arnold and strikes him, his arm has risen to a 45-degree angle

https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/var-liverpool-handball-alexander-arnold-17242608 It was not a penalty while everything you wrote makes sense mind you if the ball had not touched Silva's hand it would not have met Trent's hand cause Silva's hand changed the direction of the ball so how would they give that as a penalty the only wrong thing the referee did was not stopping play when he saw the incident but man city should have played to the whistle |

paxonel: it isn't fornication when both of them involved are faithful to each other. Infact, at that point they are better than married people who are cheating on one another.
Now, contrary to what we think fornication is, that it means sex involving unmarried people. Here is the Bible's view of what fornication means.
1 Corinthians 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
So, fornication means a young man having sex with his father's wife or a young woman having sex with her mother's husband.
In general, it means sex with a close relation. This is a wrong teaching and from the depths of hell How do you measure their faithfulness if they've not openly declared it before God and man and even after that some are still not faithful. |

He should be grateful for the racist abuses. Only a myopic mediocre player will let those racial slurs kill their self-esteem because it is the best steam to power their dreams as they've been proven to bring out the best in football players.

Players like Michael Owen didn't attain their best potentials in football because they were never privileged to be racially abused.
