In a country where the custom boss flies first class but, no money to buy tickets for our olympic athletes.
What a shame. Change indeed.
See a letter asking our athletes to buy their tickets to Rio.

Pavore9: Dialogue is the keyword as it cuts off unnecessary incidents. I live in Nairobi, though Kenya has discovered oil but not gotten to the stage of lifting it but have clearly said they will never make the mistake Nigeria made....abandoning all else because of oil. Despite not having earned a dollar from crude oil, it is unfortunate to say that the Kenyan economy is more stable than ours despite the fact one has to pay N300 per litre for petrol and 16% VAT.
Nigeria needs restructuring in the way it defines nationhood. I also do not live in Nigeria presently, I live in a country that utilizes revenue from oil, that I am not affected by the situation presently in Nigeria doesnt mean It wont bother me. I should be bothered because of friends and family who are affected by Buhari stupidity and refusal to dialogue.. |

Pavore9: That should then lead to blowing up of pipelines? Just wished they are also infuriated as much towards the bare faced looting their own kinsmen in various levels of government in the last 17 years have perpetuated at the expense of the development of the region.
It is only those who are fixated on oil that thinks there is no life outside it but my personal good news is that my life is rolling so far from it. l laugh at politicians and their cronies who are addicted to the free money oil have provided them! Unfortunately, Nigerian economy has depended fully on the oil obtained from the ND and that is not about to change anytime soon, It is without doubt that the past GEJ government did little for the region, but a Buhari led govt came onboard, instead of consolidating the gains of the past administration as regards promoting development in the region, it decided to reverse the gains made and antagonize the region through his ill conceived statements, intentions and decisions. The result is what we see today with the Nigerian economy been the bigger loser. The question of wasnt there a better way to go about it, offcourse there was, but the Nigerian environment or politicians do not understand the language of dialogue and negotiation but violence, more so when, you have a daft and illiterate bigot as president such as Buhari. You would agree that if a Yaradua was president in this situation, he would have since stepped in to negotiate and dialogue because he is wise. |

What are those human capital development projects that GEJ initiated for the region that has been stopped? Is that really a question? Did you just relocate to Nigeria. Is it not a common knowledge that the Maritime University situated in the ND which had initially been initiated by the GEJ government was cancelled by the useless Buhari led Govt or you are not aware. |

Buhari is super daft to continue allowing the destruction of the economy to go on by the NDA. Instead of reaching for the table of negotiations to reach a win win situation, he is sitting in Aso rock watching Nigerian economy slide into recession.
Who brought the illiterate called Buhari upon Nigerians
Like someone remarked sometime ago that if Buhari doesn't reach for the negotiation table, things may degenerate to kidnapping of foreigners (Yoruba and hausa folks) working in the oil companies in the Niger Delta. The NDA have made the threat, only stupid people take the threats lightly. |

Hausa + muslim = Danger Danger Danger
Christians would never do such thing to a mosque but hausa muslim get the mind to do that to a church. This has happened time and again because there is a blood thirsty demon that motivate them to violence and there is no argument about that.
We saw this coming with a Buharis presidency, now see the consequence.
From increased hersdmen attack on christian communities to Killing of christians brutally in the North and now destruction of churches. |

What personal achievement can Bubu boast of since leaving office in 1985? None, I repeat none. Bubu couldn’t upgrade himself after leaving office why do people expect him to upgrade Nigeria?
If Naira is the worst official performing currency in Africa then Bubu is also the worst performing president in Africa.

How can a girl stop you from watching football when it would even be difficult for your parents to do that. That your girl is becoming too possesive and its a big red flag for the future.Try to reach a win win situation in your discussion with her.
When I want to watch match, I stop talking to my boo till I finish the game, she sometimes gets angry that I do that, but we settle after the game, because she understands and respect the fact that football makes me happy.
Our girls should accept the reality and understand that most guys love football and wont give it up just like that and stop been brats because of a lack of attention for just 90mins or so. |

aresssa: I don't see where the President referenced anything about the worthless, disgraced, corrupt and incompetent PDP lately. The writer said the president gives an impression that the PDP achieved absolutely nothing in their 16-year rule and In fact, he sometimes infers that PDP destroyed Nigeria and he cannot perform a miracle in one year to rebuild the country, I just wonder why the same writer failed to articulate exactly what the PDP achieved in 16 years.
1. Is it stable electricity after stealing $20 billion power funds that left us in darkness?
2. Is it the wonderful roads, bridges, quality schools, good hospitals and so on they left behind?
3. Is it the wonderful refineries they destroyed and when they even refused to build new ones to prevent fuel scarcity?
4. Is it how they refused to invest the largest stream of revenue in the history of Nigeria to ease the eventual pains of low fuel prices that was bound to manifest eventually like we are experiencing today?
5. Is it using our money to or how they turned our public institutions like the NNPC into election financiers?
6. Is it how they looted and shared our money, bought mansions jets, cars and so on.
7. Are not even waking up daily to sad news about how they looted this and that?
The writer would love for us to forget that the PDP did not rule for 16 years and the horrible mess they left behind should not be part of our memory of history and we are in this situation by accident.
Unfortunately for the goofy writer, we know exactly how we got here and we won't forget or stop letting Nigerians know the evil mess they left behind.
What a waste of time and internet bandwidth.. You are obviously one of the hailing hailers as described by the Author of the Ops article who have bought into the APC propaganda having sent your brain to sleep and APC ineffective rhetorics of PDP govt did so so and so and that is why we cant perform. What a lame excuse and its already becoming very stale. Is it not a paradox and contradiction that the alledge looting PDP govt positioned Nigeria economy to be no 1 in Africa while the deceiving APC lying govt introduced Nigerian economy into recession inspite of the recovery of alledge loot of the PDP politicians. The APC govt have introduced untold hardship on Nigerians that they didnt experience under the PDP govt and you are here advertising your dumbness. Is it not a fact that a significant part of APC leadership were former PDP looters who were part of the 16 years PDP rule. |

abimic: The young man u quoted spoke the truth and u need not result to negativity to make your point if at all it was genuine! The government said they've met different groups of which they don't know which is which and how's that a lie? Infact, the amnesty Programme started by umaru was only going to snowball into something unexpected like this as many streams of militants would still arise to serve different ends and crashing the country's mono economy though PMB hasn't even stopped the programme. The militancy sprung again seeing GEJ lost his second term bid, amnesty isn't the only way, it's a means to an end and not the end itself. Even GEJ couldn't help majority of his fellow South southerners than only few selfish individuals. Best is develop the ND, let the wealth be uniformly distributed not by sharing money but by empowerment and others but surely not by granting amnesty only to hear 3yrs again that another set of militants had risen again. PMB isn't doing too well but, Boko haram, militancy are only pulling the country ten steps back as the masses would bear the consequences and not government. This government has come to stay till 2019 and any negativity would affect the masses than government. Offcourse since you are not from the ND you wont want to admit the obvious having aligned with this lying APC government.Spoke which truth? Amnesty is not the main agitation of those NDA folks. Its much more than that offcourse. Amnesty was started by Yaradua and it calmed restiveness in the ND region, Jonathan continued the same but your daft Buhari having no clue of what stakeholder management means tried to upset the status quo with his stupid dictatorial dumbness, the upsetting of that status quo which untill now contributed in maintaing peace in the ND has metarmophosed into something much bigger than he had anticipated and you are here yarning garbage. |

Late President Yaradua who negotiated with those folks in the Niger Delta which consequently minimised restiveness in the region. Was he stupid to do that?
